Sipping her iced smoothie, Melody sat back, the shade from the umbrella sufficently blocking the heat of the sun. "Perfect for a hot day," she mumbled to herself. Gywn stood up on the white chair and happily slurped down mouthfuls of an iced coke out of a red and blue striped straw.
The two were at an outdoor cafe, sitting at a table and looking at the passerbys. It was a weekend and Lyallana had suggested they go out while she took care of Mereneth. And it seemed like a great idea, to get out with Kaylee not around. Not that the redhead minded the phoenix's presence, but she was sure to be grumbling about the blistering hot day with her coat of feathers.

The people around him glared as Paen bumped about with the strollers. Two of them. Glaring back would never express how incredible frustarted he was with the strollers and how much it was agravating him that he couldn't steer straight even if someone bet him to. At least it took his mind off the thing stuff in the strollers.
Stoping as a small cafe, Paen pulled the strollers in front of him. He didn't know if could feel so incredibly good to sit until then. Looking into the strollered and saw them both. The boy and girl. He liked twins, so that wasn't the problem. It was what was underneath the damp blankets covering their lower halfs. Their fishy lower halfs.
"Grayling, you're a lot more active then your sis, huh?" he questioned, picking up the male toddler and watching him play with the small shell necklace he had been found with.

As everyone's attention was turned to something, Melody followed their eyes with curiousity. A guy with two strollers and looking incredibly aggravated with them, stopped at a nearby table. Even Gywn seemed interested, peeking over at the two kids in the strollers.
Blinking slightly at the toddlers, a familiar sensation rushed through Melody. "Damn," she mutterred to herself. "Krystals." She had never seen Krystal twins before(How did she know that? Her power WAS getting weirder). Biting her lip, she contemplated telling their guardian about them, he did seem calmed down already.

A waiter came over to take Paen's order, which was a very simple black coffee. If Paen had to get back home with these two, he'd need all the extra energy he could get. Grayling wiggled about, knocking the towel off his tail. Paen quickly bent over to grab it, only to be slapped in the face by Gray's fins. "Thank... you...," he muttered, twitching slightly at the gurbling toddler.

Bolting straight up in her chair when the it was obviously revealed that the young Krystal was a merman, Melody knew she had to butt in. These were obviously unique Krystals though, could it be the one of the few that made Fauste go berserk? Gywn didn't seem to notice, she was playing with her straw and poking at the ice in her cup.
Walking over, she picked up the towel from the ground and handed it over to Paen, giving him a questioning look.

Looking up from the squirming merchild, Paen smiled at the women thankfully, "Thanks. It's a bit challanging to handle two of them, luckly Arowana is sleeping... It's extremely challanging when you aren't that great with kids." Paen grabbed the towel and wrapped it back around the child's rump. Grayling had a lot of energy, seeing as he was still interested in was was going on, even when Paen had put him back in the stroller.

"Rather interesting kids you have there..." Melody's voice trailed off. "Would they..." she hesitated as Gywn had noticed her missing and was peering into the strollers curiously.
"Happen to come from a...crystal?" she whispered hesitantly. Sometimes, guardians were shocked and thought she was rather mad for actually knowing what the kids came from.

Greyling stared straight back at Gywn looked into the stroller. He seemed to amused by anything and everything, expecially Gywn... Or at least for the moment he was. Who knew how long that would last.
"A crystal...? Techinally no, since they came from obsidian, which is glass... But I guess you could call that a crystal," he said, grabbing the hot coffee from the waiter, who scurried off quickly after would. Either he was really busy or he was completely freaked out by Greyling. "Why?"

Gywn giggled, pointing to the two merkids, "Kisstal Larie too?" she asked, apparently guessing that whatever interested her mother concerned this.
Melody winced slightly at the remark, berating herself for talking too much about the Krystal Latice at home. Obsidian... It sparked off a memory in her mind. That black Krystal that Liz was running around with...the red-head gave a small smile at that thought. It was no wonder there were twins.
"Because..." she hesitated slightly, "Gywn,"she indicated to the little girl with the topaz chakra. "Came from one too. Care to know more?" she did have to tell this guy about the Krystals anyway.

"Kisstal what?" Paen muttered at the young girl's remark. Darn, he wished he could speak kid language, but alas, he could not. It was always a pain to try to understand them. "What was she calling them?" Yet another question popped out of his mouth. Though it his question had only came seconds before a young female cry came from the other mer-child.
Arowana hated bright light for some reason, though he hadn't figured out why yet. In an effort to calm her loud cries, Paen took off his sunglasses and put them on her. She cried for a couple more seconds before she stopped and began to suck her thumb. "Odd one she is," he chuckled then looked toward Melody. "I would... Could I have your name first, though?"
His sister's cries had called his attention away from Gywn. Slight gurbles some how translated into 'what?' or something close. The sibling responded in grubles of some sort of response and went back to sucking her thumb.

"Krystal Latice." The fire mage sighed and decided to tell him all about the children. "That's the name we gave to these children." Of course, she didn't tell him who else was involved in the "we". Not like she felt like talking about Fauste anyway.
"Melody." The red-haired woman gave a slight tilt of the head as she smiled, amused at Arowana's appearance now, with the sunglasses. "And you?"
The two merkids were interesting. How come they had tails? Gywn was rather curious about that.
