Delta Root Town: Mac Anu
Rycil logged into "The World" and smiled. The graphics were amazing! These were about as life-like as graphics were going to get. What else would one expect from CC Corp?
The Shadowdancer ran through the little pitstop for newbie players and took everything into account. This was really awesome. all the people had incredible weapons and all. Then he realized something. Everyone had weapons for the most part. Where was his? As he scanned his invotory he relized the folly. He wore black gloves, those were his weapons as a Shadow Dancer.
"Amazing. I knew that computer games had better capabilities than console, but this is just too much."

Raven blinked as she found herself in "The World" for the first time. "Whoa," the pink-haired girl found herself gasping as she spun around, drinking in all the colorful graphics of the newbie town with surprised amber eyes. Who knew virtual reality games could be so... Real?
Well, what else could be expected from the great, Japanese CC Corp? Nothing in the United Kingdom would be able to compare to this for at least another ten years at least.
Taking her first step, the girl nearly fell down backwards before she realized something about her center of gravity was quite different. There, strapped to her back, was a huge, broad sword. Grinning a dangerous, toothy grin, Raven smiled. Now this was worth it; this was going to be the thrill a virtual reality game provided. With a quick whipping motion, the girl took her sword out, from above her head and waved it crudely around once as five people in the immediate vincinity quickly, and smartly, backed away from her.
Grinning, she planted her sword into the ground. "Hmm.. Now what?" It was, afterall, Raven's first time. She was to be no 'n00b,' however, video games had been an abused, guilty indulgence for the girl. Looking around, she patiently waited for some sort of introduction or beginner's guide to initiate.

Siberia sighed deeply as she stepped through the Chaos Gate into the Delta Server, her pink eyes scanning her surroundings thoughtfully. She put her hand on her hip and blinked.
"Hm, doesn't look like theres anyone new here today..." she observed, straightening out a wrinkle on her fancy black skirt. However, after a moment, she noticed someone with pink hair and light, orangey-brown eyes, swinging her weapon around aimlessly.
"Ah...a Heavy Blade." she spoke in her soft voice. "Ive never seen her before...she must be a newbie."
With that, she walked over to the girl, who had stopped the swinging and put her weapon in the digital Earth.
"Did you just join? Because Ive never seen you before." she said in a friendly way.
"If so...welcome to The World. -^_~"

Raven found herself to become quite moody as no such 'beginner's guide' initiated. Just as she was about to lose it and throw her heavy weapon at a nearby building in a completely 'n00b-ish' manner, however, she heard a voice ring from behind her.
Spinning around with one slight of the ankle, Raven found herself looking at a pink-eyed girl. An experienced pink-eyed girl. Well.. This would more-than suffice for a tutorial of any sort, right?
Grinning at this girl as she interlaced her fingers into each other behind her back, she seemed to forget completely about the huge sword that stuck out of the ground that was now, likewise, behind her. "Why, I believe so!" was her cheery reply. "Thanks. Would you care to show me around? :D"

Rycil was having way to much fun as he strolled past the two girls, in an obviously newbie fashion. He clutched his hand as he neared the Chaos Gate. That manual was huge, and it was getting to be dull. He learned how to fight for the most part, but there were no tips for Shadow Dancers.
"Alright! Delta Hidden Corpse Rain! Uh... wait, that's level 19? Oh crap... How am I supposed to know what are the level 1 areas?!"
Rycil started to call out random key words, hoping to god that he would find a newbie area before it was too late.

Siberia nodded happily, her wispy, silver hair moving slightly with the movement.
"Sure, I'd be happy to. ^^" she replied, grinning.
"First off, im going to show you all the shops here located in town."
With that, she led Raven over to the first area; the item shop.
"This is the item shop; this is where you buy things such as health drinks to help replenish your hit points. It costs a certain amount of GP for these items, and they become stronger and more advanced in other servers."
After that, she explained the weapons shop, Elf's Haven, whereyou can store your items, The REcorder, used to save your game, and the magic shop, where you could buy magic scrolls to be used in battle.
"Oh," Siberia started. "You can also trade with people in the towns. If they have an item you want, you can look at their wanted items list and see if you have it. You can then obtain the item. : O" she explained.
"Then, later on..I can show you the basics of battling as well. ^^"

Rycil ran through the servers until he finally fewd up with all the high level areas. Growling he finally launched into a random area, with or without a good level.
"Delta Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground! Huh, a level 6 area, but the monster level is really pathetic. Apparently, the level gives good rewards, even though it's a piece of cake. Sweet!"
The chaoss gate activated and the glowing rings came around him, only to stop and disappeared halfway around him. He looked at the label of there area that flashing and beeping.
"Protected Area? To hell with that! I just want to fight some weak mosters, let me in!"
Rycil's character was sent skidding across the gound as the protection field refused him. He sighed and got up. He had skidded all the way onto the bridge. It would appear that those that are unwelcome are not exactly treated kindly.
"Damn, and I thought I had hit the jackpot...."

Raven nodded to the girl as she followed her guide around the virtual town, trying not to gape at how real everything seemed.
Too real. Was a thought that came up as the pink-haired girl tried to ignore the fact that she had been given 'stinky boots' as part of her start up gear. True, the were better than nothing. But still. Stinky boots? Come on!
Hurrying her thoughts back to the girl, Raven easily commited all the different locations she had been shown --as well as their purposes, to memory. It was no different than schooling. Albeit much more exciting, and WAY more fun.
Nodding, to indicate that she understood the basic jist of things, Raven replied with an interested tone twisted about her voice, "Oh? And can people who aren't Wavemasters use these magic scrolls in battle as well? :O."
Everything else, though, she pretty much understood; it was basically the same for all mmorpgs, afterall. As such, she assumed that items and the currency of this game were drops from monster kills. "Okay! n__n," she replied as Siberia finished speaking, "I'd love for you to show me the basics of battling later!" Afterall, being the rash girl that she was, she had not touched the manual at all, leaving her clueless to the virtual world's battling system.
"Oh, I'm Raven by the way," The girl added with a smile. "Nice to meetcha. ^_~"

Siberia nodded at the girl.
"Yeah, scrolls can be used by every class, not just Wavemasters. They have specific elements in which you can use to your advantage against monsters in the fields and dungeons."
She then smiled when the pink haired newbie introduced herself as Raven.
"Nice to meet you too, Raven. I'm Siberia. ^u^" she spoke, grinning.
"Alright...lets go to one of the newbie level 1 fields and I'll teach you the basics of using your weapon. Sound good?"

Nodding at the girl's explaination of scrolls, Raven grinned as the silver-haired girl, in turn, introduced herself-- as if in approval. Siberia was a kick-a** name. And she liked it.
~ Flashing back to reality, the girl behind Raven sighed a little.
All that homework really was starting to pile up. True, she really did stop doing her work just to make her daddy angry, but still.. It wasn't like she was dumb. --And it certainly didn't mean she wanted to flunk entirely out of her school.. It's just... A competitive all-girls school where she's already learnt everything in the curriculum didn't quite strike it home for her. ~
Silently following Siberia as if no such spirit-crashing thought ever occured, Raven grinned as she placed a palm upon the hilt of her sword, as if quenching its excitement. "Aww. Newbie level?" Laughing a bit, the girl nodded, "Alrighty, then. I guess I could suck in my pride. Bring it on!! >:D"

Rycil sighed as he opened up the varius menus of the game and sighed. HJe could find no way to tell him what a newbie area was. It was getting to be really annoying now. As he saw the pair of girls coming, he glanced at the smell. It was the smell of a newbie. Only level ones had such cruddy equipment that it actially made it distasteful to wear.
He looked at the gate and tapped it, hoping that this new girl understood it better than he did...
"Maybe if I'm lucky, she knows some uber high level player. Then this person cvan help me out. I don't even know what shadow jumping is, much less how it can help me out. It says I can't use it in Root Towns either. How the hell am I supposed to figure all this out!"
