"I'm not exactly sure what to do!" she practically wailed, unable to bear the silence from Pale. "That woman is the cause, does she exist here? Just because I've walked with someone doesn't really mean they'll exist here. I've found that out before....did you know her?"

"What you're going to do is take Wedsday- he's not dangerous- and bring him to whatever you're staying with Quin. First I'm going to subdue him though." Pale pushed past Chanti and proceeded to punch Wedsday in the face. Satisfied, she walked away, turned and left.

Rias landed at the edge of the beach, the water lapping quietly at her feet. In her arms, Illiana slept. Rias wrapped her wings around her body and settled on a rock nearby. Taking a deep breath, she hummed slightly. It was an old tune her mother had taught her before she had died. She felt Illiana shift in her arms and soon she was waking.
Illiana blinked up at Rias. She smiled shyly for a moment and then looked around. It was really beautiful right now. Giggling softly, she climbed off of her lap and ran to the edge of the water. Her eyes were bright as she tried to focus on everything before her. She skipped along the water's edge, wading sometime. Suddenly, she tripped over something. Blinking in surprise, she looked back. And screamed.
Rias shot up as she heard Illiana scream. She had watched her skip down the water's egde but had closed her eyes for a breif moment. She darted forward at a run and soon made it to Illiana, lifting the child. There was someone there. Her eyes swept the person in confusion. They were unconcious and appeared to be dead. Then suddenly, they moaned.

THe body groaned as it tried to push itself up. He hurt. ALot. Opening his eyes, he looked around, trying to get the blur away from his eyes. Where was he? Who was he. Wait, he remembered that. His name was Lihtan Deorc. He could also control darkness. Pain shot through his head as he tried to figure out anything else. Forcing himself to stop trying to remember, he looked around at where he was now. A sudden whim to destroy it came to him but he sealed that away.
It was then he realized that there was a strange woman standing nearby with a child. He looked up at her and inspected her. SHe had two pairs of wings on her back and she was tall for a woman. Something in him seethed at her. Curious on it, he inspected the feeling even as he turned his gaze to the child. A sudden whim to see them begging in front of them made him quickly shove the dark feeling back. "Who...? Where am I?"

Rias swallowed as Illiana buried herself more firmly against her side. The child was shivering profusely. She spoke quietly. "You are in Black Amber." She studied him carefully. He was different looking, that was for certain. She eyed his markings on his skin in trepidation. She only had her one marking on her back but that was it. This one had markings everywhere. At least it looked that way. She touched Illiana's head. "Go back young one."
Illiana whimpered and stumbled back, barely able to see. She darted behind what appeared to be a large rock and peeked out to watch what would happen.
