She swung her way around towards his desk, cleaned off a few papers (organizing them as per her usual obsessive-compulsive manner) and pulled out a small disk. The disk, when pulled, expanded into a flattened keyboard with a holographic monitor displaying information from it. As she laid it down on the desk, she pulled up a few screens of information, Tanis began explaining just what, exactly, the problem was.
"There's been an attempted infiltration through sectors four and twelve in area seventeen of the 'Miranda' database. No data was lost, as I was able to ward off the intruders before they managed to get a hold of anything. By retracing their footsteps, I think they were after this." She turned the screen slightly to display the information. The screen flickered slightly and went blank for roughly three seconds before the information popped up. A series of diagrams and maps emerged onto the screen. They were details about the method of travel to the Nexus. "These files are extremely old. I have no idea how this hacker managed to find the location of something as ancient as this."
She turned the keyboard back to herself and began to type again, talking as she did so. "Thankfully, my security measures not only blocked his attempt, it partially erased his hard drive and..." She paused and turned the screen. A map of the world emerged, with a blinking red dot in the middle of Europe. After a moment, the map zoomed in and the borders of nations emerged.
"19, Fischer street, Apartment 1304 B, 7th Floor, Room 702. Germany." She frowned again as the map zoomed in on the exact location of the perpetrator. A satelite image gave her a clear view of the place where he was staying.
"A few hours ago, I thought I noticed something change on the time-line, but it was so subtle that I attributed it to slight malfunction." She sighed heavily, "My current assumption is not so passive." Tanis started typing again.
"It gets worse," she stated, "The year is 1914."

1914. Many people would be lost in thought trying to mentally dig up what exactly was going on during that year. However, being a history minor in college helped, and Doctor Godfrey jumped on events immediately.
The beginning of the Ford Motor Company, the Mexican Revolution, Woodrow Wilson's envoy meeting with Kaiser Wilhelm II, British Parliament addressing the murder of the Archduke.
The beginning of the first World War.
Doctor Godfrey cringed at such a thought of a group of time criminals attempting to hack into The Nexus from the year the first World War started. If they were discovered, the repercussions could be enormous. Mounds and stacks of paperwork, to be certain.
"This calls for immediate action, and is beginning to prove a theory of mine..." Doctor Godfrey stated. "We will insert at the time you specified, so immediate action is not yet called for. However, I will ask you to be part of the task force on this assignment. We will need your expertise to access their databases and trace their origins when we storm the place." Doctor Godfrey nodded.
"I will send a message to Agent Thane, telling him that any and all modern weaponry may be used in this situation, since it is obvious we aren't dealing with natives. If we are, well, then we'll just have to fix our own mistakes..." He muttered, bringing up his monitors once again and typing a quick message to Charles Thane, who was probably down in the armory and supply room.
"And round up at least one more Agent. There's no telling how many of these time criminals there are..." Wilhelm advised. "I've no preference, just make sure it's soon... and I'll keep track of these time criminals from here on out, so do not worry with monitoring them further." He added.
"If that is all, you are dismissed." He said, taking note of the whereabouts she had communicated to him.

Tanis nodded and turned, heading out. This was going to be a difficult task, indeed. At such a delicate time in the World, a screwup could cause massive damage in the Timeline. The criminals had picked an excellent time to hop into. By performing the slightest of tasks, they could possibly alter the events of the First World War and, in doing so, change the entire course of human history.
They had to be stopped.
She wasn't sure where she was going, but he feet led her to the small dojo on the first floor. She sighed and changed into her 'gi' and belt. Entering the tatami mat room and bowing towards the portraits of former masters before starting to stretch, then moving into a third level black belt ' sanchin kata'. Mind absorbed in the precise movements, she stopped thinking about the problems.
Her mind went blank. All her technical knowledge, all of her problems, her thoughts, her worries... They all disappeared. All she was concentrating on was her movement. Her feet slid into position and her hands moved to precise degrees.
In mere minutes, she was sweating. After about a half hour, she stopped to rest. Breathing heavily and tired out, she sat on a bench nearby and returned her thoughts to the problems at hand. She knew Agent Thane, but hadn't worked with him much. Also, she needed a third...who should it be? She worked mostly on her own, as many of those in the Nexus did. There were a handful of Agents that knew her well. Of course, Tanis had hacked into the main database and pulled up information on all of the Agents already, so she had access to all their files.
Perhaps that's how she would go about it. Changing back into her normal clothes, Tanis walked back into her room and opened the monitors, pulling up information on all the agents to go through them again and find the best possible person to accompany herself and Agent Thane.
