Look on the internet, Wizards.com and such are excelent places to find prestige and non-basic classes.

There's also books published by Wizards of the Coast that have them: Every 'Complete' book contains at least 3 new core classes and a couple dozen prestige classes, as well as the Player's Handbook II, and the Expanded Psionic Handbook. Those are the few I can think of off the top of my head.

well you can also make them up, but you better make it good and not opverpowered, usually DMs are the only ones who make the new classes and allow it to be used in their games, well in my experience i mean

Yeah, as a DM, if a player came to me with some made up class, I wouldn't let him use it. I only allow official things in my games, except of course things I myself have created.

I realy don't see the point in making them up, there are so many to choose from anyway.

Rahzeil I realy don't see the point in making them up, there are so many to choose from anyway. I'm working on my own class and I do it for the challange of making a class that isn't over powered and fun to use.
