Wow, first it was with bloodlines, now it’s with Missing-nins. XD Anyway, good character, I like his biography, but what’s bothering me is the fact that he knows so many jutsus from other Countries and Villages. Now, did he learn them from other ninja there or did he steal the information? Because ninja village are fiercely protective of their jutsu and how they are performed. Due to his training and history and traveling so much, I would leave the stats alone, though he does seem to also border on the edge of Sannin range…

Tell me how he got the knowledge of the other jutsus and I may approve.

This is where it gets tricky, a little of both if you look at it the right way. For some, he would find another Missing-nin from the village and have it taught to him by helping them in return..Others would be from more gullible ninjas, you see...He should have a higher ranking as a Missing-Nin for this. Sometimes a ninja would try to collect the small bounty on his head, and would wake up...Not only with a rather large headache, but missing their headband. He would find a more...Gullible ninja to teach him the others.

Demeanor: Around importent others, he acts just as expected. He has however, been named as the most easygoing Mizukage in years. He makes an occasional joke, but is wise and decisive in his actions.

Nindo 'Way of the Ninja': The mission and the units lives are always of equal importence.

Inventory: Basic ninja equipment, such as kunai and shuriken. He also uses wire and needles, some with deadly poisons and others with seditives. Also carries a wakizaki size sword made of wood in his robes, it has a blue tint, and otherwise seems normal.

Pet(s): He has several hundred fish in his office, that are feed daily.

Biography: He swiftly moved up in the ranks when he was younger, showing superb use of genjutsu techniques, he was promoted to Jounin at age 17 ANBU at the age of 21 and was going to become one of the Seven Swordsmen, but was made the Mizukage before such a thing happened.

Ninjutsu

Name: Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu (Mist Vision Technique)
Description: A technique usually used with Kirigakure no Jutsu, the Mist Vision technique allows the user to see through heavy mist, steam, or any other condition caused by water in the air. This does not give the ability to see through smoke. The technique is passive and activates when the user's vision would otherwise be obstructed by mist.

Name: Suirou no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique)
Description: A move used to trap the victim inside a prison of water; it is very difficult to escape. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep one hand against the prison at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This is considered one of the strongest water trapping jutsus, simply because it has no inherent duration; the technique can be held indefinitely as long as the user keeps a hand in place, and the prison cannot be escaped or broken from the inside.

Name: Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu (Water Element: Water Dragon Blast Technique)
Description: A powerful attack that creates a huge current of water in the shape of a dragon, which is then sent towards the opponent. Essentially a devastating single target attack, few are the shinobi who can suffer a hit from this technique and continue to fight.

Name: Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique)
Description: A highly effective cover technique which blankets an area in a thick mist, confusing the senses of the enemy. Unless the user is trained to fight without the use of his vision, or has learned the technique to see through the mist, this doesn't not provide a significant combat advantage. The mist swirls about, confusing vision and distorting sound. Visibility is cut down to three feet. The mist lasts two minutes.

Taijutsu

Uses his own style of sword fighting that he has created through expirmention with coating a wodden sword in various pressures of water.

Genjutsu

Title: Fukai Oshi (Deep Pressure)
Description: This multilayered genjutsu takes complete concentration to do and has the ability to end a ninja's career if it is not broken quick enough. If it goes too far the effects become too severe on the mind and body. There are three stages.
Stage 1: Water sinks in through your pores and starts to pop your joints and bones. The body also starts to feel pressure.
Stage 2: The bodies fluids start to get disordered and the organs start to move around.
Stage 3: Your body either implodes or explodes and then the genjutsu ends.
If this is kai'ed before stage two any permanent damage is avoided. If during the second stage the ninja will need to take some time off. If beyond that there will be brain damage that may not be repaired unless it is done by high level medical jutsu.

Character Information::
Demeanor:: Azaria can be anything depending o her mood. She could be a bit quiet most times, not very talkative well…depends on the conversation. She gets mood swings quiet often, keeping most people unsure about what she might do next. One minute, she might be laughing, next second she might be ready to kill you. But no matter what mood she is in when a battle comes her way, She is always ready, but most of the time serious with battles. She’s not much a fan of goof balls and idiots, but she manages to get by being friends with a few of them.

Biography::Azaria was born with both a mother and father, along with an older brother. Her parents are both Chuunins while her brother is a Jounin. Since she was born she was a bit quiet and had mood swings too quickly. She trained hard, and often sparred with her brother who would come when he had some spare time. She was a somewhat violent girl when she was a child, always playing and hanging out with the boys and never backed down from a fight against them. She studied on her own time, but enjoyed hanging out with the boys than the girls.
When entering the academy like the others her age, she still hung out with the boys but made some friends with the girls. She was a smart girl, answering questions, and remained social. But she slowly grew away from the girls and stuck with the boys since the girls started going crazy over Uchiha, Sasuke. She would sleep in class, eat, and study whenever and got into trouble for the things she wasn’t supposed to do. Like that mattered to her. All she cared about was graduating, becoming a Genin and so on until she was a Jounin like her brother. After a few years, she noticed one girl staying by herself always staring out the window. She remembered her name was Kuroku, Azuri and decided to talk to the sad lonely looking girl and then, bam, they were friends. She is much better with Hand to hand combat than illusionary techniques. But as she got closer to graduation, she gradually got the hang of illusionary techniques
Graduating was a breeze and gave Azaria a sense of Freedom. She still was a bit rowdy for a girl but she didn’t stop training hard, and often wanted to spar with her brother but he had a lot of missions since then. She stuck with her new friend, Azuri, and often made her speak a little louder. She’s just an ordinary ninja now, with a dream to become a strong Kunoichi Jounin with her favorite color, Dark Blue/Navy Blue.

What happens is that A light purple color Chakra Aura surrounds Azaria's hand, forming into the head of a dragon. With that, it disappears. Each time Azaria grabs onto the person with the hand that had used Dragaru Dragon Bite, the dragon’s head will appear, biting into her opponent, absorbing chakra depending on how long Azaria holds/touches that person. Appearance: Emiko has brown hair that is held back in a tie. It reaches down to the small of her back. Her bangs are a different color, silver, adding to her uniqeness. Her eyes are a deep, chocolate brown color and shows her knowledge. Emiko's features are well defined, but not too much. Her skin is slightly tanned from all the training she did when she was younger.
Attire: See picture. Emiko made her clothing herself when she graduated from the Academy. It didn't take her long to make the clothing because she is so good with needles. Her hetai-ate is worn on her forhead in the traditional sense. Her weapons pouch is tied around her waist and rests on her back. She wears a necklace that has her name engraved on it in gold. The necklace itself is made of silver.

Demeanor: Emiko likes to do things that most people wouldn't do. She does know when it is too extreme however. She has always been unique and likes being that way. She has always enjoyed helping other people. She normally has a calm and caring personality, but she does have her rough side and when that side comes out, it can be dangerous.

Pet(s): Emiko seems to have a close relationship with birds. She doesn't have a specific one as a pet, but she seems to be able to work well with them.
Biography: When Emiko was two years old, she was orphaned. She was found and taken in by a shinobi in the Waterfall Village. When she was old enough, she entered into the Academy. She studied hard and read every book that she could find on becoming a shinobi. She was excellent in chakra control and manipulation.

She graduated from the Academy when she was nine. She spent a year as a Genin before she took the Chunnin Exams. She did her best during the exams and didn't worry so much about winning, but worried more about how she performed. She healed her teammates when they were injured and showed great care for them.

When it came down to the final test, she fought her hardest. She thought things through and focused on her opponent. Chances she managed to get were spent healing wounds that she had and trying to see what her opponent was going to do next. The fight had gone on for a while but she eventually won the match by tiring down her opponent.

When she became a Chunnin and returned to the Waterfall Village, she continued her training as a medical ninja. She found out who her parents were and went to them. When she found them, they were ill and no matter how much she tried, she couldn't heal them fully. She was able to heal them enough so they could continue doing their day to day things and she continued to do that while swearing to herself that she would become more skilled.

When she turned twelve, their health declined even more and she did her best to help them. Again, she was able to heal them so they could go about doing their day to day activities. She was getting tired though but it wasn't stopping her. She would recover her chakra and then continue with her training. Her mentor that had taken her in had been a good medical-nin before he retired from being a shinobi.

She had been taught by him throughout her life how to become stronger so that she could defend herself as well as others. She has amazing strength for her age and for being a medic. She never ceases to train herself in all aspects.

When she turned fourteen, her parents fell ill once again and she couldn't heal them as well as before. She got word of how well the Hidden Leaf Village's Hokage was in the medical area. She inquired if she would be able to travel to Konoha to seek advice and extra training. It took a while to covince the highest authority but she eventually got the go ahead.

Ninjutsu

Title: Henge No Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
Rank: E
Description: A user of this skill has the ability to transform their outer appearance to that of another form, which can be a person or object. However, due to the physical restrictions on the body, the user cannot transform into anything extremely smaller or larger than what they already are. Therefore one could not transform into a shuriken or a small animal. Neither can the user transform into an enlarged or distented form of anything (therefore no such thing as a small human-sized adult elephant, or a human-sized ant). Therefore the user must always be within the same proportions as the original form of the object. Also, the user does not gain any extra physical ability through Henge. (i.e. transforming into a cheetah will not give you a cheetah's speed) Henge is dispelled when the user is touched in an offensive matter. Thus after the user hits the target in their transformed state they revert.

Title: Kawarimi No Jutsu (Body Switch Technique)

Description: A jutsu that creates an illusionary clone of the user, in numbers of one or more. The clone disappears after being struck with an attack, and can deal no damage. This jutsu is one of the basics, and required to pass the shinobi academy. The user can create 1 Bunshin for every 2 control they have.


Medical

Title: Shindan (Diagnosis)
Rank: E
Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is preformed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds.

Title: Shiatsu (Massage)

Description: For a variety of reasons, muscles, tendons, and ligaments can become overworked and painful. This may be because of some type of injury or it may simply be the result of too much work without enough rest. By applying the proper amount of pressure at the right points and using small amounts of chakra a medical nin is able to relieve pain and help the patients body recover more quickly. A strain or sprain can seriously hinder the effectiveness of a shinobi and as such this technique really can make a difference.


Title: Sansokyoukyuu(Oxygen Supply)
Rank: D
Description: While it is possible for anyone to do CPR without chakra, this technique is an improvement. By holding their hands over a patient’s chest a shinobi is able to use chakra to very carefully massage the heart and lungs in to functioning. This technique is not effective if for some reason the air passage is blocked, it does not provide oxygen or blood, only forces air in and out of the lungs and makes the heart continue to beat. A Chuunin is able to perform this technique on two patients at once if the need should arise. This technique requires that patients be unconscious and still before it will work and as such it will not work to disrupt the breathing and heart rate of anyone who is awake.

Title: Kigusuri Souzou (Medicine Creation)

Description: A medical nin has learned to study the effects of various naturally occurring compounds on the human body and how they can be combined in order to create medicine. In spite of increased knowledge of medical techniques there are times when mixing a medicine is the only solution to a problem. Medicine creation has a variety of uses, such as creating poison antidotes, healing ointments, and disease fighting. Medicines can also be used to treat minor every day ailments such as an upset stomach or cold. A Genin using this skill has only rudimentary knowledge and often requires a small guide in order to find and create basic medicines. A Chuunin will know how to prepare a medicine for any normal injury, poison, or disease. Advanced and highly specialized medicines, such as those needed to counteract the negative effects of the Akimichi 3 color pills, require the knowledge of a Jounin who has learned more through experience than could be found in any book

Title: Summon Medical Tools
Rank: C
Description: This technique allows a medical nin to summon some of the tools of their trade. It is not practical to carry around mortar, pestle, and other tools but a scroll that can be used to summon these and other similar objects is both practical and convenient. A higher ranking nin can use this technique to summon more specialized and advanced tools for poison creation and ninja medicine creation but at this level it is only good for medicine creation.

Title: Souzou Dokubutsu (Poison Creation)

Description: Just as there are many naturally occurring substances that can be combined in order to heal, there are many naturally occurring substances that can be used to harm. Using their knowledge of plants and minerals a medical nin is able to mix together a variety of drugs and poisons that can range from disabling to deadly. It is not always the case however that it is used to harm. This skill is required to create anesthetics and other drugs required to treat patients. Chuunin are able to create poisons that can be ingested or used to coat sharp objects but more advanced poisons such as skin contact poisons require a Jounin.

Clan: Suoh Clan.
The Suoh Clan has studied the mastery of the blade. Playing their role in the world as warriors over assassins, the Suoh Clan enjoys a fairly famous history as blade masters. But for the Suoh fairly is not nearly good enough. Life for a member of the clan is endless practice and study with the blade from the moment they are capable of picking up a weapon. This makes life hard for the young members of the clan, but they tend to adapt quick to life and are the most ordered and disciplined children in the academy.
The Suoh Clan makes use of a number of special techniques, which they keep very close and very secret, that make use of the air and wind. According to rumors, generations ago the Suoh Clan stole the secrets of wind from the shinobi of the Village Hidden in the Sands. The Suoh Clan, naturally, denies this. It is a matter of honor in the Suoh Clan to always defeat a Sand opponent. Losing to a Sand shinobi is the fastest way to lose the respect of other Suoh and to lose honor for family within the Clan.

Those who practice the Suoh’s style of sword combat, Kaze Suoh Sutansu (Wind Dragon Stance), are taught that speed is the leading principle of all combat. The fastest, not the strongest, is always the winner in a duel of blades. As tough as someone might be, a strike form a sword blade to the correct place on the body will put an end to them. As such, practitioners of the style sacrifice strength, stamina, and raw power, for speed, focus, and clear mindedness. If they are hit by an attack, then it is likely they’ll suffer considerable damage from the strike due to their lack of defensive focus. As such, Suoh fighters learn how to dodge, deflect, and counter attack as part of their training.

Chakra training for Suoh students is all about control. The principle of speed that the school follows leaves the need for raw power and reserves behind, so focus on the present, the use of a single slaying blow, is the entirety of their training. As such, Suoh’s lagged behind in terms of Charka power but are always at the top end of their rank when it comes to control. They believe that you don’t need as much power or stores of energy when you can properly control and manage what you have, and see those who favor the other elements of Charka as undisciplined (which is just about the worst thing a person can be in a Suoh’s eyes).

The Suoh Clan doesn’t play politically in the village, partly their not a very popular Clan among the others and partly because they don’t concern themselves with the way that the village is run as long as they have missions to hone their skills on. Village loyalty is a secondary concern to the Suoh Clan. The political exception the Suoh Clan makes is a hatred of the Uchiha and Hyuuga Clans. The Uchiha’s eye techniques allows them to follow the Suoh’s movements, no matter how fast they are, and their ability to copy techniques allows them to steal away the most treasured secrets of any Clan. The recent actions of the Clan’s surviving members only serve to ensure the hatred the Suoh’s have nursed for generations. If presented with the opportunity to destroy the last of the Uchiha and their cursed Sharingan any Suoh would jump to the task. The Hyuuga Clan has a similar ability. While not as offensive to the pride as the Uchiha’s mimicry the Hyuuga’s ability to see from all angles made the sneaking side strikes of the Suoh’s sword technique virtually impossible to implement. And what’s more the Hyuuga’s hand speed was very nearly a match for the Suoh’s. Perhaps it is jealousy, perhaps competition, but the Suoh’s have it in for the Hyuuga. Given the high status of the Hyuuga, though, the Suoh keep their opinions to themselves. While they don’t care for political positioning, having the Hyuuga as an open enemy would be very disadvantageous.

Appearance:
Makoto is average height, with a medium build suitable for swift motion. His body is light, with tone muscle covering every inch of his body from years of careful work and development. His brown hair is slightly longer than normally acceptable, falling to his shoulders. He keeps it out of his eyes by tying it back with his forehead protector. His skin is fairly tan from all the time he spends outside in the sunlight. Makoto has a hard face. He’s not unattractive, but he is fairly grim faced and that can make his first impressions unfavorable with others, especially women.

Attire:
Makoto’s clothing is traditional for his clan. He wears tight fitting brown pants as base clothing with a skirt-wrap around his waist that reaches to his knees. The purpose of the skirt is to disguise his legs and prevent the enemy from seeing his entire leg and therefore disguising his movements to an extent. He wears a skin tight shirt with the shoulders and arm pits cut away so that his arms are totally free from the cloth. On a normal day Makoto wears a loose tunic shirt, one that can be swiftly removed in the event of serious combat. For less than lethal combat the baggy shirt can be a useful distraction, directing blows away from vital areas and into empty cloth. On his left arm he wears a light armor vambrace. The armor is a last resort, an insurance policy, so to speak. If all his evasion and speed fail him, than Makoto is still capable of using the light armor to block or deflect an otherwise damaging attack. Due to the light nature of the armor, it’s more likely to simply soften the attack than actually turn it aside but something is better than nothing.

Demeanor:
Makoto is disciplined, and keeps himself in tight control at all times. His behavior with others reflects his “iron bound by law” nature, and he is quick to rebuke anyone of lower standing for their disregard for the rules. Those of higher class, he often let’s pass with silent and a dark frown.

Genin who misbehave around him generally get to learn what a sword butt feels like when it hit somebody on the top of the head. Makoto makes no room for foolishness and disorder, even if disorder could lead to a positive result. He believes that disorder and unplanned behavior can never work properly and always has bad consequences in the end. Truly deep emotion only shows itself when he is wounded in combat, and serves to enforce his desire for perfection. Being wounded makes Makoto mad like nothing else.

Nindo 'Way of the Ninja':
“I will surpass all others, and be the truest blade of all shinobi.”

Inventory:

Makoto, like many Suoh’s, keeps a raven on hand. An average sized blackbird, Makoto’s pet is named Kun and can be used to transport messages quickly across short distances. As a raven, the bird is capable of imitating human speech to an extent and can use words of signals. But, it is not an “elite animal” and can not speak human language at length or communicate significantly with Makoto.

Biography:
When Makoto graduated from the academy he was assigned to a team with two other Genin: as par the usual. The team was well balanced, a brilliant match up of shinobi if ever there was one. Their Jounin, a man by the name of Akio, was a fairly fresh advancement, so the learning experience was shared by the whole crew. Makoto’s speed and sword abilities, the stealthy hypnotic genjutsu of Shino, and the fiery power of the lady Kaida’s ninjutsu. With the three of them working together, they were able to do whatever was required of them during a mission.

Missions where always clipped events. Makoto made it a serious matter to get to know his fellows and to work in formation with them to enhance their respective abilities but he kept his personal information personal. He might be a team player, but that didn’t mean that he had to pal around with the others when they weren’t on duty. After all, he had his own training to do. The Suoh Clan was always looking over his shoulder, ensuring he was up to carrying their name into honor and glory. Every spare moment was dedicated to training his sword handling. Finally capable of understanding the complexities of the Suoh’s sword style, Makoto spent hours on end taking direction from his father, uncles, aunts, every Suoh with a trick to teach.

When the Chuunin test came around, Makoto and his team mates were all for taking the exam. However, there was an unforeseen complication for the Suoh shinobi: Makoto’s father forbid the boy from entering the exam. Makoto attempted to convince his sensei to allow him to participate, using ever angle and argument he could think of, but to no avail. After a week of fruitless efforts, Makoto resigned himself to his fate. His team mates were, naturally, disappointed.

It was two years before Makoto’s father allowed him to take part in the exam. Two years of solid missions and daily training and effort. By the time he and his team mates were allowed into the exam, Makoto was confident that he could put an end to any and all challenges that stood before him. The written exam put a crunch on that. While physically fit and advanced, Makoto’s training had involved virtually no mental study once he was able to pick up a real blade. However, three years of effective cooperation with his teammates made for considerably advanced methods of communication. A few silent exchanges of information, and the trio managed to sneak their way through the written exam.

The physical exam proved to be an exercise in effective team work just as much as the written exam. Makoto’s squad moved through the exam without loss of blood on their part, but a fair amount lost by those who attempted to narrow the field by eliminating the competition. The first year Mist shinobi that Makoto faced in the last round of the exams was fortunate to escape with full function of his arm, let alone his life. As effective as the younger boy’s fog summoning and hidden strikes were, he was unable to outrun Makoto’s flashing blades.

Despite his brilliant showing in the first round of combat, Makoto found himself out matched and defeated, in spite of his greatest efforts, in the second round match. His opponent was a shinobi from another village who had somehow mastered the technique of the Wind Sword. While Makoto knew such a technique existed, the boy had not prepared to counter such an attack. It was supposed to be a Jounin level skill, not something he would have to face in a perspective Chuunin.

Makoto fought practically to the end, his right arm nearly severed at the shoulder, on leg nonfunctional, and practically dead from loss of blood. Medical teams restored the use of his arm and leg after a few days of treatment; Makoto suffered no long term damage from his injuries. Despite his lose in the match the village leaders thought Makoto’s sheer ability and use of tactics in a match against an opponent with superior ability merited his advancement to Chuunin.

His father, however, was no so lenient. Makoto got the lecture and lesson of his life for no being prepared for whatever his enemy might have. Farther more, losing to a sand shinobi was a blow to the family honor. As such, though he had been promoted to Chuunin in his dear father’s eyes he’d been reduced back down to academy level, and that meant he had to be trained back up to par.

And so Makoto stands today, a Chuunin still, because to this way his father has disallowed him from advancing any farther.

In a different clan, someone in Makoto’s position would probably go against their parent’s will and attempt to advance, but to Makoto’s disciplined Suoh mind, such a thing would be impossible. Until his father and the rest of the Clan allowed him to do so, he could make no effort to advance his rank in the village. Still, deep down, Makoto burned to become a Jounin because that would place him one step closer to his goal of making the whole world see him for the finely honed blade that he is. Makoto’s ultimate dream was to prove to the village and the world that the Suoh style was the ultimate in sword combat, and to prove to his father that he, Suoh Makoto, was the greatest swordsman of all Suoh.

Description: A basic attack. The strike is meant to be hidden using speed and misdirection. The user feints an attack, then strikes with all their speed, trying to blur the blade and hide the point of the attack, aiming for a hole in the raised defense (assuming the enemy bought the feint and raised their defense).

Title: Vanishing Strike
Rank: D
Description: A refined form of the Indirect Blade. The user moves the blade with a twist, turning the weapon to present the narrowest side to the target and moving with a slight speed boost from the snap of the wrist when the attack strikes. If done properly, the blade vanishes for a moment just before the strike, making it possible to redirect the attack slightly and slip around or under the enemy’s guard.

Title: Fading Blade

Description: A refined form of the Direct Blade. The attack is a horizontal slash that puts more of the arm’s speed behind it, committing the shoulder and arm to the attack, creating a more open attack but one with greater reach and speed. If the user misses than they leave themselves open. The strike is so fast the blade of the sword blurs and seems to fade away, diminishing in size until the end of the attack.

Title: Twin Snakes Striking

Description: An advanced form of the Direct Blade and a two sword attack relaying on pure speed to pierce the enemy’s defense. The swords are held in the same position, one in each hand, with the point of the blade aimed for the opponent’s chest. Before the strike, the arms are retracted along the side of the body, the elbows bent to their maximum and held tight to the ribs with the points still targeted. The assault is pure speed, moving from the first and second positions into the third (thrusting) position in the blink of an eye. The thrust is straight ahead, throwing all of the user’s leg strength into the forward dash, the force of the strike coming from the uncoiling of the arms and the waists twisting inward snap like the teeth of a snake extending for the strike. As soon as the user’s feet hit the ground again, they push off, flying backwards again to return the user to their previous distance from the target. If done properly, the user should be a mere blur through the whole of the third stance.

Title: Shattering Waves

Description: An advanced form of the Fading Blade. Snapping the wrist at the end of the swing, the user brings the sword back for another strike, then another, making three rapid fire slashes across the same space. The attacks are swift, but lose force with each strike as the arm does not have a chance to coil again. The user can re-angle the strikes at each snap of the wrist, changing the exact position on the enemy’s body or guard that they are striking, increasing the possibility of getting around the guard or striking deeper into their vital spots.

Description: The user presents their weapon, flat side to the enemy, and focuses their charka to create a bright flash of light. Most effective after drawing the eyes directly to the blade.

Description: The users focuses their charka into the air around the blade and begins to spin the weapon. The spinning creates a musical sound that filters out other noises, such as the sound of foot steps or allies moving in the trees overhead. The sound lasts for a few seconds after the blade stops spinning.

This mission had been under ranked. That was the only way this could possibly be happening. There was no way that his whole team could do so outmatched. Nothing they tried seemed to work, and now they were all hiding. Hiding! Makoto closed his eyes for a moment, keeping control of his temper. This was neither the time nor the place to lose control. He glanced to his left and right, making sure that both Shino and Kaida where both still nearby. He could see them because he knew what he was looking for but anyone else would have considerably more trouble. The effort on Shino’s half hidden face was difficult to see, but Makoto knew he was starting to wear thin. They’d been here for an hour; he’d been keeping their positions concealed for that whole time and it was beginning to take its toll.

Kaida’s hands were twitching again but there was nothing to be done for that, there was another patrol passing below them and Makoto couldn’t risk moving or speaking at the moment. Besides, any sudden motions might bring Shino’s stealth genjutsu down so he let Kaida twitch. It was a nervous habit of her’s, running through the “Katon” gestures when she had to keep quiet and still. She told him that he did the same thing, only he tended to finger his sword’s sheath. Personally, he thought she was making it up. He’d know if he was doing something to amateur as allowing himself a nervous twitch.

He wanted to reach over and take hold of her hands to stop her. Or maybe that was just an excuse to be able to hold her hand. Deep down he could use a little comfort right now himself and holding Kaida’s hand would really just about do it for comforting. Shino spent a lot of time giving Makoto crap about the swordsman’s “thing” for Kaida. Of course he was always very vague as to what “thing” he was talking about. Makoto certainly didn’t have a “thing” of Kaida and Kaida sure as hell didn’t have a “thing” for him… whatever a “thing” was. He knew, he’d asked her and she’d said she didn’t have any idea what Shino meant. Just the same… whatever logic told him, Makoto really wanted to hold her hand right now.

A sudden rustling forced the Suoh back to reality as a sandaled foot hit the branch a foot away from his face. Kaida had her hands in motion already but Makoto managed to catch her eye and make the slightest of head shakes, signaling her to stop. After ten eternal seconds, the foot vanished and the shinobi it belonged to moved on. Shino hadn’t reacted at all to the intruder but since the man hadn’t seen them, Makoto could only assume that the genin’s genjutsu was still working. The guy had amazing focus.

It was half a minute before Makoto dared to speak. “We can’t stay here,” he whispered. Kaida nodded right away and Shino made a slight bowing of his head. He kept the field in place, but the nod meant that he agreed. Makoto held up three fingers, and both nodded again. He counted the seconds, dropping a finger at a time until his hand was a fist and as one, the three shinobi burst into motion.

This was the enemy’s land, and that meant that the trees where too dangerous for them here, so they’d have to run on foot. It wasn’t really any better, but at least they wouldn’t risk being attacked from below. They hit the ground running and Makoto had his swords in his hands before he took his first step. Kaida kept her hands up, and Shino fell back a bit, straying to the middle, forming their usual bent triangle: Makoto on point, Kaida to the left and behind slightly, and Shino a step behind the pair.

One or two we can take, Makoto told himself, trying to see in all directions at once, But we have to find Akio-sensei fast. Kaida seemed to agree, he could see her scanning the woods for any enemies but it was surprisingly empty. Had they passed over them? Given up on the part of the woods? No, that would be too easy.

Shino’s hollow voice broke the repeating rhythm of foot beats. “Down!” The warning was barely in time. As Makoto and Kaida dove for the ground a swarm of kunai whipped over their heads. It took Kaida only a few seconds to send a lung full of blazing fire into the bushes the kunai had come from and the reward for her speed was the agonized scream of on of their enemies.

“We can’t keep this up,” Shino stated as they reformed their triangle and continued on, “Without Akio-sensei our chances...”

“Are slim to none,” finished Kaida, the disgust apparent in her voice. She didn’t think much of their inability to deal with the situation, a frustration Makoto shared, but the reality was they were outmatched.

Makoto considered for a moment, and then spoke. “We need a signal. Kaida.”

She looked at him in disbelief, “A signal? And let all of those guys know where we are?”

“We can either run around without direction or get Akio-sensei to come to us. Simple choice,” Makoto stated. “Signal. Now!”

Kaida muttered something under her breath but the group stopped and waited. She made a series of hand signals and looked skyward. A moment later, there was a column of flames billowing into the sky overhead. Everyone in the forest would be able to see it, and know exactly where the group was.

“What now?” Shino asked, taking a step closer to Makoto, sounding really concerned for the first time Makoto could remember.

“Now,” Makoto tightened his grip on his blades, “We hope sensei is faster than the enemy.”

Clan: Batsu no Gaki is known as the Clan of Ghouls.
They specialize in taijutsu and ninjutsu but it's said that their Genjutsus are so pitiful that should a member of their clan use it, their opponent would die of laughter. They tend to prefer fire and wind based ninjutsu, but there are some who will use water or other types of jutsus. They usually use basic taijutsu, but without structure and use a style similar to drunken fist (Chinese spelling Zuijiuquan, Japanese spelling Sui-ken), the only difference is their sobriety and tendency to change their mind on the attack at the last second. They tend to choose their abilities while young and train in their choice obsessively, sometimes to the point of destroying their bodies to reach the point of perfection they strive for.
They stay as much out of politics as possible and rarely leave the rank of chuunin or genin, even though the older members of the family are equal to that of Jounin of even that of a kage. They have never attended a council and are often extremely late for important ceremonies, reciting some old excuse like “sorry, I thought it was later…”
The clan is fairly young, since its oldest living member can still remember what the clan’s founder looked like. They are loners, usually found outside in the desert watching clouds, the sunset, the sunrise, or busting their bodies with, usually, brutal training. They are also troublemakers, sometimes putting people in extreme danger as a joke and getting all huffy when the victim gets angry, claiming that if they didn’t notice the ‘obvious’ trap that was set up, then they deserved to be tricked.
They have no notable sense of hierarchy and it seems like all are equal, but there is a subtle war between them as each vies for power, be it a slight twist on the screws of the chair in the living room, or the elaborate thread/kunai/senbon/shuuriken trap set up on the third floor hallway. Any guest in the house stays for one night and usually spends the next six months in recuperation in the hospital. Also… to any visitors, have a clone test the food before you eat it; there’s a 9-in-10 chance something’s been poisoned.
Bloodline: chikushou-inai (beast within) a variation of the person’s birth year (EX: 1990= Ume) hand sign is used to activate this kekkei genkai. The genkai is to release the person’s inner demon, usually the inner demon is one of the twelve holy creatures of the zodiac, but a few members have other animals, usually related to the holy creature. It is not necessarily considered a jutsu as anyone can perform it, but to a much lesser extent. The term release is a misnomer as the demon is not physically released, but is instead forced into the persons consciousness while the body goes through drastic changes which is sometimes (read as 90%) irreversible. (An example is Gaki Ookami, who on the 12 of January, celebrated his fiftieth birthday; he still retains his razor sharp teeth, furry wolf ears, fluffy tail and partially disjointed arms and legs. Though his fur and hair now show streaks of grey.)

Appearance: Please note that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that some might find her more attractive than others. I prefer to say fair or pretty because she is neither beautiful nor plain.
Her dark, chocolate brown hair reaches to the base of her shoulder blades; she also has long bangs that reaches the tip of her nose when wet, but only reaches the bottom of her eyes when dry. Her skin is rather orangeish (Mongoloid) near her shoulders, stomach and legs but is lighter (more Caucasian) on her face, hands and feet. She is thin but not skinny. She is thin and high waisted (her waist is just below her ribs), wears a size 5 or 6 in pants and wears a medium-sized shirt.
She has rather narrow, slanted eyes that appear to have two layers; a glassy top layer that resembles clear water, and an earthy brown flecked with gold (or copper) and black layer on the bottom. Her face is fair and pretty, but not beautiful; she has high cheekbones, a small mouth with full coral lips, a permanent flush high on her upper cheeks, and a round face (In Japanese culture she would be considered rather Tanuki-faced rather than Kitsune-faced.) A small black mole over her left lip (known as a beauty mark in some areas), and three black freckles on her left cheek in the shape of Orion’s belt tilted almost one hundred degrees to the right.

Attire: She prefers to wear light clothes in Suna. Her usual outfit is a black short tank top; tan board shorts; and bandages on the forearms, wrists and hands. Her hitae-ate is used as a belt on her shorts.
In cooler climates: She wears black pants, a long-sleeve navy shirt, black leather gloves, white boots, and a navy cloak.

Demeanor: Hyperactive around people. She holds people at an emotional distance even though she doesn’t notice it. She doesn’t talk about herself all that much and tends to imitate people when angry. She adds yeah to the end of a question.

Nindo 'Way of the Ninja': Be happy. She understands that a ninja lives like a firecracker; here and gone in a flash. She has accepted it. She will cry at a friend’s funeral, but knows that there was nothing that could be done. It may seem heartless, but it’s to protect her own heart she views the world this way. Such a view makes her a bit out of touch with reality. She will not talk to someone for over a year for some reason then want to start up the friendship as if there had never been a pause.

Biography: Akuba was an oddball in her family: lazy, unmotivated, smart (no common sense but has eidetic memory), and a brilliant trapsetter. She loved to make traps and often is the one who everyone looks at when a particularly violent trap sends a member of their family to the hospital. She has a tendency to find the most antisocial person and annoy the heck out of them while at the same time being nice- so they won't try to kill her- without even realizing it. She loves to train in Ninjutsu and excels at Taijutsu- but rarely studies it- while struggling to make her genjutsu rise out of the familial flop... Needless to say, it hasn't worked out. She stutters when under stress and when she's really excited. She giggles and laughs darkly when she has a particularly nasty trap planned out, or she just does it to see peoples reactions. She loves to travel but has a tendency to lose items important to her or her mission so she returns to the starting point up to a dozen times before leaving.
Her body is physically stuck at age sixteen because of an accident, caused by her twin cousins zokusai and zenryoku, a number of years ago involving an experimental jutsu that affects the very fabric of time. They stopped the jutsu at when they realized what was happening and she will be stuck in that form until she reaches the age of sixteen, then she will begin to age naturally. Until then she is making the best of her years of "sixteen-hood". Needless to say, she wants nothing to do with the surge of hormones once a month, nor does she want the instant crushes that pop up at random, but she tries to live somewhat normally and Zokusai and Zenryoku should be released from the intensive care ward any day now...

Akuba grimaced. Her cousins were going to die for sure this time; Jakaru and Hikoru had replaced her favorite kunai with a piece of junk that fell apart the instant she had pulled it out to dig into the cooling sand of the desert. She jerked her hand in a strong negating motion. No, she thought irritably, Thier suffering can wait until after training is over.She put her hands together, the tips of her pinky, ring and middle finger touching, with her thumbs curled inwards.

"Chikusho Inai..." she murmured; chakra flowed into her hands, turning her nails to claws. She hissed in pain as the transformation occured, but began to dig without care for the tenderness of the tips. She dug until she found the warm sand just below the surface. When she finished digging, she released the binds, returning her hands to normal. With another hiss of pain, she set up her tent. She took out the one collapsable aluminum poles and extended it. She scratched her head thoughtfully and pulled out the other two. Using a tiny amount of chakra, she adered the poles togetherand placed them in the hollow.

Over the construct, she placed a cloth and affixed the cloth to the sand using a little more chakra. over the cloth she poured the excavated sand, effectively camouflaging it from the wind and careless shinobi. she carefully folded back a corner and entered her temporary hideaway. From the inside, she folded the cover back over and waited, breathing slowly and carefully. Night would fall soon. And with night, she would steal away and hopefully avoid capture. It was a pity her companions had refused her advances. Teaming up would have been a better idea but-

Her tent exploded in a flurry of sand as she scrambled out of the sudden whirlpool she found herself in. She wasn't safe yet, for no sooner had she escaped the whirlpool than a creature, not quite wolf, attacked. She dropped to her hands and knees as the monster swung at her with its yellowed claws, narrowly missing decapitation. She kicked out, but it had anticipated this. It grabbed her ankle and, using her own momentum, slammed her into the ground.

"I win," Sioruchi crowed; for a fourty-five year old man, he was surprisingly childish when it came to games, "I win, I win I, Wi-in! I get your dessert for the next week!"
Akuba shrugged and flashed a grin in his direction. They began to pack up the tent to head home. They worked together quickly.
"Too bad, I was going to have ricecakes when I won," she sighed. Sioruchi hated ricecakes; he grimaced and shook his head.
"You can have 'em. Chocolate cake is the way to go..."
