Vor listened, he was caught between thinking her humans weren't too bad to wonderin' if the were all neglectful. He knew he would be worried about her if he hadn't seen her in a few days, if he were a human. Even though he is not, and was just getting to know her, he'd still be concerned about her if he didn't know she was safe somewhere.
When Nailah licked his cheek, his thought process stopped dead in its tracks. It took the poor kitten a little while to get his thoughts moving again trying to make sense of it all, he had a bit of a goofy smile on the whole while. "I am glad you won't get in trouble, I'd like to be in your company again, which doesn't work if your under lock and key."

"True... if they didn't leave a window open for me all the time." She said, giggling at his simle.

Reaching out his paw, he gently touched her fore arm and then leapt back, wanting to play, "Tag" He was feeling just a bit weird around her, and wanted to do something to get rid of the funny feeling, playing might just help. He wasn't sure if a house cat knew how to play, but what else would they do all day?

Nailah smiled and slowly got up from the warm blankets. She walked over to Vor and touched his shoulder. Tag. You're it." She then quickly ran out of the tree.

Vor ran after Nailah, laughing and responding, "Not for long." He was a great hunter and a fast little guy. This game would be fun, but he knew better then to just pounce her, instead, he'd play just like two regular kittens, not a stray and a house cat.

Nailah ran faster once she saw that Vor was on her tail. She waved quick zig-zag patterns in the grass, hoping he wouldn't be able to jump up and "tag" her. She laughed as she saw him closing in on her. She had to find somewhere to hide.

Vor laughed and picked up speed. Whatching her zig-zag, he kept running forward hoping her path would cross with his and he'd be able to pounce her. With the warm sun on his back, the sweet smell of grass and Nailah's laughter, he was able to forget everything but the then and now of the play.

Nailah laughed and ran faster once she looked back at Vor. She turned back around to see a wide open field ahead of her. 'Now... if only I can outrun him.' She thought.

As they came to the wide open field, his heart started to pound. Here of the Toms came out, there would be no where to run, he had trouble getting away from them the last time he came this far from home. Fear for Nailah and of the bully Toms perked him up even more, Seizing the chance, he leapt onto a large rock, last before there were none in the field. Running to the end of the rock, he pushes off and leaps at Nailah, hoping to catch her and get the both of them, or at least her, away from the field.

Nailah was suddenly knocked down by Vor jumping on top of her. "Ow... that kind of hurt." She looked up to see Vor staring ahead. "What's wrong?"
