Dear Mary Weather I heared of it when I saw a trailer of it in a free dvd in NewType Magazine, I fell in love with it ever since.

I remember reading in forums people talking about Elfen Lied and then while looking through someone's anime blog, I saw screencaps of the episode where Nana, an adorable-looking "kitty girl," gets her fingers ripped off brutally, and then her limbs sliced off as she has that absolutely fearful look on her face. I had to get a hold of it because it intruiged me so much and I downloaded the fansubs (cos this was before it was released, folks!)and watched all of them. I've liked the series ever since. Even now, it remains one of the best anime I've personally ever seen.
And the opening is still one of my favorites, if not my favorite. "Lilium" is just beautiful and sounds so saintly.

Well, It kinda skipped around for a whille for me. I would see some Lucy or Mariko fanart, then two months later I would see random AMVs that would pop up on Youtube after I was done watching one about whatever, and I would recognize the characters. . but I was ignoring it for a while.
It was literally following me. . o.e
Then one day someone was talking to me about it, and I said "Oh, I think I know what you're talking about! ;O" and I ended up watching it. o.o
Dat ish how I discovered teh Elfen Lied. :3
I used to think Lucy was a Cat Girl. x.x;;
