This has come up in the Captains' Guild a couple of times now, and I'm wondering if this should be the next service added to the guild. Would you use it if it were available? Do you know anyone who would? Do you have any other ideas?
Please discuss your opinion.

Please discuss your opinion. i dont think it could be free.. If somebody were willing to do it on a large guild, make them crew, and pay them for it

Perhaps then a system that let it be free for guilds with up to a certain number of posts, then a small fee for a few more posts, a larger fee for more again, and so on?

Of Course, Its going to help me in my time of need, checking over my errors or misunderstandings, alerting me when i'm at risk. That is pretty cool. Although that would cost for alot of changes on GAIA, and will make hundreds of glitches after released.

I think this would be a nice idea... but this sort of service could only be done by someone who knows the R&G and TOS inside out, and many small bits of TOS and R&G are broken almost everywhere. The small stuff that nobody cares about but has to be in the TOS anyway. You know?
Besides, I'm hoping that captains and crew know basic TOS and R&G well enough that they don't need someone to look through for anything questionable xd . But it's a nice idea... I'm just not sure how useful it would actually be in practice, you know?

Many User's say that they would just do something like that manually, and that makes sense for smaller Guilds. I own a Guild that is quite large, and checking every post in the Guild would take... a very long time. If a system was implemented that would allow the Captains and Crew to search the Guild for key words, it would do a great deal to prevent people from actually posting things to begin with since they know we can find it a lot quicker, so it would help in that way. The issue I have with this idea is that, what would the system be EXACTLY? JUST a CTRL+F function? For some reason, it feels odd. I can't seem to put my fingure on it, but it just doesn't seem like it would work that well. Again, I think it would ecourage users to follow the rules becuase there is A WAY to find things, but as far as actually finding them, I think it would still be difficult. The best way I believe is just to go through what you can in a Guild, and look for "hot spots," such as threads titles that are obviously looking for trouble.

It would be nice... But then again, we all kind of look away from mild guild-to-guild violations, mostly for those learning the ropes. I mean if there was a strict no curseing rule in the guild, and the system detects that, it would be helpful. But I kind of see this a bit to impersonal. I mean, I tend to respond more to a person then a computer 3nodding

It is a nice suggestion indeed. And I triple-check my guild for ToS and RaG violations. And it seems to me that I also like to volunteer to check other guilds with ToS violations as well as RaG violations. ^.^
