Notice how some games have odd weapons? Such as the Keyblade, Gunblade, ... sometimes musical instruments. o_O Like bells and even anchors. Post here what weapons you've seen some characters use in video games and discuss about them. o_o

Yo-yos aren't too uncommon actually. Kirby from Kirby Super Star has a Yo-yo ability, one of my favorites. Ness from Earthbound also uses yo-yos as weapons as well as baseball bats and other things you can find around.. And then there's ... other games I think..

Locke Trufeld Yo-yos aren't too uncommon actually. Kirby from Kirby Super Star has a Yo-yo ability, one of my favorites. Ness from Earthbound also uses yo-yos as weapons as well as baseball bats and other things you can find around.. And then there's ... other games I think..

Bells actually would be an interesting weapon. I read a series on necromancers once, and they used bells as weapons. Tonfas also (if you don't know what they are, look up the martial art ken-po) would be interesting to have. Also: capes. I have a friend who is part of an organization where they re-enact medieval style battles, and she fences with a saber and a cape. The cape acts as a sort of shield...you can wrap it around your opponent's weapon/arm/head and do some interesting things with it.

you can also be strangled by your own cape....
halbreds are good but you need to be mounted...

See? Yo-yo is a popular weapon. =O It's a projectile weapon that you can reuse cause it's on a string! =D
