If she tried to grab the staff, any other time she'd likely be left with a shattered arm and hand. Here, though, it'd probably hurt like ********. The staff did indeed stop, but Shar's motions did not, his hands leaving the staff as he continued his spin. His leg came up to, quite simply, smack the b***h with his foot. If he missed his leg would fall to support him as his spin continued, the other raising up to strike at her again.
