New Vatican

The new Vatican has now risen as a phoenix. Rebuilt to match the Old Vatican as much as humanly possible. Vatican City State is an ecclesiastical or sacerdotal-monarchical state ruled by the Pope, who is the bishop of Rome and head of the Catholic Church.

҉ ___The final Aman, and then the organ sounded and the procession came and went. The ritual of another mass ended. The Flow of robes and the mummering of "Aves" and then the press of the guard. Miyka'el crossed himself in reflection, then crossed the crowd in blessing. "Blessing upon you, my children,...blessings and strength to you, my fellow hunters. May our sacrifices bring us closer to He that is and ever will be. Let us reflect and confess our weaknesses and beg for forgiveness. Let us not mourn the fallen brethren as they have inherited the kingdom in the beyond." He gave his small speech as he gracefully left the crowd and returned to his Papule palace.

A few hours later:

Pope Lightbringer sat behind his desk, reading reports from the palace of justice: the hunters' main headquarters. The look of concentration and fury filled the face of the previously tranquil pope. ''Kyrie Eleison! theses deamons spread like lice and worse... We have lost brethren who were pure to the bloodline as well." swore the pope, reading an ancient missive labeled "The Cartwright Brothers.", as well as other missives from RRT out of New Houston in the Americas. The pope crossed himself and muttered a penance to himself. As he threw the note across the room. The Swiss guards looking on.

His desk was piled with scrolls, notes, missives, all covering the many issues of Europe and the world. The world slowly survives this volcanic winter that covers it. But much is to be done to make this "Wrath of GOD" the fault of faithlessness and the demons and inhuman scum that are infesting the earth___҉

҉ ___Michael smiled beatifically at the young man and raised his hand in blessing and softly said. "Blessings upon you, my child, come forth." The pope gently took the report from the man, smiling. ' This young man is scared of me. So young, I think he thinks I'm going to perform Defenestration upon him for the bad news.' thought the pope to himself as he read the report.

'' All that happens is held within the great plan of GOD, my child. Have faith and stand firm. said Michael, trying to calm the young secretary. it was rare that the divine interfered directly in the affairs of mortals but their touch was everywhere. And the pope hoped to use them in supporting his speeches on the corruption sweeping the earth; even to those within the church itself. The pope turned and faced the window his back to the secretary. " Come, come, my child, speak up, there is more that sits upon your tongue. Speak freely, my child." said michael waiting.
