First and foremost; I want to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for bringing us together on this project.
I have dreamt emotion_rainbow up quite a few things for the guild and I hope to help make it quite fruitful yum_strawberry with what I have envisioned it to become.
Rome wasn't built in a day, so with that being said; Vanguard will need time to grow. Patience is necessary if we are to meet our goal.
What I ask of you in this announcement is to go about recruiting members.
The only ones who should receive this announcement at the time of writing this are those who I have elected into a leadership role in Vanguard.
The kind of members I'm looking for offhand are people who are actually Christian, many claim to be Christian but aren't;
so keep this in mind when recruiting people and always test the spirits.
*People who aren't Christian but are considering conversion should be allowed to join at a later date.
Ask the person questions and find out if they are fit for the cause.
*They must be Christian. Assess how they speak and act, if they use excessive curse words, if they argue with Scripture, if they say ungodly things. If they do any of the latter; invite them not.
*They must not deny The Holy Trinity.
*They must say/type Jesus Is Lord and Jesus Is God and agree with those two statements.
*They must not deny The Bible or refute The Gospels.
*They must comply to Vanguard's dresscode and read our guild's front page and agree with it's rules before joining.
*Future Plans:
After the ground has settled and we have at least 7 regular members; I would like to begin holding church in one of the virtual spaces on here on a regular basis; preferably each Saturday.
*Disclaimer:
We are NOT Seven Day Adventists, but Saturday IS The Sabbath and I'd like to preach to our congregation on such day.
If Vanguard must be put into a denominational category it could be summed up as this:
Vanguard is generally a Baptist (without the dryness) and Pentacostal (without the over-the-top sensationalism.) organization.
