Thabet looked between the group of them and then sighed. "That was not a good memory to introduce you to the Wonder with, I think. I promise I have so many more stories that aren't like... that." She seemed especially attentive to Pendour and the way strain showed on Stromboli's face. "I would love to have you here to share them with you, but--"
She looked to Basiluzzo, who was also watching Pendour.
"If you promise to come back soon, I think it's best you go home for now. Hold each other close."
"Already? We just got here--"
Thabet interrupted Stromboli with a shake of her head. "It can wait. I'm going nowhere anytime soon. Do you have loved ones back where you come from?"
"Well, I have a wife." A nod to Basiluzzo. "He's my son. I have other children, grandchildren." Thabet smiled warmly, the crinkling of her eyes visible even as translucent as she was.
"Good. I would like to meet those that I can, one day. Until then, go home and rest."
