It took a minute, but what Kira just said clicked with Michelangelo and he noticed she was still scared, so he decided he needed to tone it down.
"Sorry, didn't mean to freak out there, I just got excited, cause you're so flippin' cool. Anyway, I don't know what messed up thing Shredder and his thugs did to make you think people would be angry at you, but me and my bros aren't like that. Except Raph, but don't take that personally, I'd be angry too, if I was ugly as him." The turtle grinned at his own joke as he continued. "So, I don't remember If I mentioned, I'm Michelangelo, but you can call me Mikey. What's your name? Oh, and don't worry, if the Foot called you something stupid, I can give you a new name, I'm like the best at thinking up cool names."
