Assuming there's a time period in this rp I know most of the anime's archtypes and subtypes suitable for the setting you placed this at. If you are looking for the help, I can make sure official pvp matches aren't going too crazy with summon methods that wouldn't make sense for your current setting. Like obviously my pendulums and links would be off the table in pvp. I can make sure that people are dueling with decks that seem plausible for the current era of rp we will be in.

Tl;dr - You wouldn't see Jaden Yuki battling against Mathmechs so we can compile a list of stuff that are too advanced and exclude them. It'll also help new players who haven't really understood Pendulums, XYZs, and Links that well to adapt to a smaller method of summoning.

We do plan of screwing with time a little bit. We do have a story crew if you interested meet up with Inferno Vega. Right now they're the only one working on our plot. We do need someone to kinda oversee basic rules just encase things go sideways. If you wanna be the first judge we have I can go ahead and I'll promote you to crew if that's something you'd be interested in? Or if you just invested in story same deal. 3nodding But like you said things would have to go a certain way, if someone want to use XYZ monsters they'd HAVE to be displaced from there timeline/dimension. I think Zexal and Vrains work from different dimensions. So people can play what they want it's just things like no god cards while we're in the current timeline, blues would also be tricky since canonically only four exist technically (Solomon Moto's destroyed copy.)
