 ✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ Kahiau watched as his sister went into the guest bedroom and closed the door behind her. A frustrated sigh escaped his lips but he didn't try to talk to her more once she closed the door. 'If only ... Yet I can't help her with everything but some things she has to figure things on her own.' He thought to himself as he made sure her had the ranger bag on his back. The kahuna went out the front door and locked it up behind him.
Then Kahiau made his way towards the canyon with some troubling thoughts of his own. He keep his eyes out for trouble though and so far, nothing out of the ordinary as he began his way into the canyon. It almost seemed if he and Selene had imagined it but the fact that she had pinpointed to the trial site are was concerning.... It would still take him awhile to get to the site so if anyone that was there would have some time to clear out before Kahiau could get there.

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ Kahiau hadn't gotten far into the canyon when a rolling mist appeared around him. 'I wonder if Tapu Fini's appearance had anything to the bad vibes Selene and I were getting earlier.' He thought to himself as he turned around to face his island guardian. Kahiau gave Tapu Fini a respectful bow to it before speaking aloud.
" What can I do for you today Tapu Fini? " He asked the deity, knowing that it wouldn't be able to respond back by speaking. Kahiau knew that Tapu Fini would respond back to him in it's own way. 'Here's to hoping that whatever the Tapu wants me for isn't too serious.' He thought to himself, not knowing what Tapu Fini wanted.

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ Kahiau had the kitchen window opened and heard Estelle calling out to Selene. He looked out the window in time to see the two hugging.'I'm so grateful for Estelle for being Selene's best friend. If they hadn't been met at the pokemon school and then took the island challege together in the first place, I don't know if Selene would have been able to... No, I can't think like that.' He thought before letting out a sigh. Sometimes his mind start going down paths he didn't want to go down.
After seeing Selene lead Estelle off, he began working on slicing some berries. Then he heard a familair voice talking to her pokemon. He looked out the window to see Deanna and her pokemon arriving. Kahiau cleaned his hands and then made his way to the front door. Before Deanna could open the door herself, he opened the door open for her.
" Hey Deanna, come in and get comfortable. Thanks for coming tonight, Selene going to need some moral support." He said as she came into the house. " I'm sure you already figured out that something happened today. There were multiple things but main thing is that Sly is back in Alola and the two met this morning, due to Po following Sly's scent." Kahiau admitted to her before closing the door after she and her pokemon were inside the house.

"I hadn't told her that I have talked to him yet. I saw them going to the Pokemon Center to have Dr. Zimatis take care of Selene's sprained wrist. I spoke to him for a bit after he left her there. He still cares for Selene strongly with what he said. Though he wouldn't admit it directly though. I want the best for the both of them but I'm not sure if it would be wise for them to be couple right now. Yet that isn't my choice to make either." "According to Sly, she did a stupid stunt that she had Briaxen tossed her when she used psychic for. I'm guessing Selene might have tried to kiss him and why he said stupid stunt instead of admitting a kiss happened...." He said before going into the kitchen and began cutting the poni radishes. 'I'm not sure what to say now. Or think really when it comes to those two....'

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ "I know it's not my place to make that choice for them. I want the two of them two be happy whether they become a couple or if they find someone else to love. I do plan to get her side of the story, but I want her to tell me in her own time though. I don't want to rush her though. I'm hoping that letting her have this get together here tonight will help her relax some." Kahiau said as he continued to chop more of the poni radishes.
"I didn't want her to be alone tonight either, considering how she has cut herself in the past. Dea, please keep an eye out for her tonight as I'm afraid that she might start cutting herself again after this chance encounter with Sly." He admitted to Dea, placing the sliced poni radishes in a bowl and setting it next to the stove.'I still can't believe that Marguerite had somehow got Selene into doing that....' He thought to himself as he sat down at the table next to Dea. "I wished there was something else I could do to. I just want what's best for her you know?"He said to Dea, as his emotions showed on his face.

There was times that he felt like he wasn't able to anything for for his sister but what Dea said was true.That he was doing what he can do and that was a lot. Then he felt her hand on his, and he wasn't expecting her to do that. A slight blush grace his cheeks that was almost not there as it was a very light pink."I try to do what I can and thank you Dea. I do what I can when I can. I know that there are times that I can't but that's life." Kahiau said, looking down at their hands that were together.
"Dea," He began before taking her hand that was resting on top of his into his hand. " Thank you for being there for me and Selene over these years. If you hadn't been here, I think I would have been more of a lost cause in a way. I know I would done things differently than I did, without your advise that would have taken a turn for the worse. Thank you for all the sound advice you have given me over the years. Especially when it came to Selene and Sly. " The Kahuna admitted to Deanna, wanting to let her know that he didn't take their friendship for granted.
Before he could stop himself, he lifted her hand to his lips and kissed it. Now there was a noticeable blush on his face and hoped that he doesn't get slapped for that. 'I couldn't blame her for slapping me if she does though.' Kahiau thought to himself as he thought of what to say next. "Your friendship with me means the whole world to me Deanna and I don't take it for granted, at least I try not."He said looking at her, debating whether if he should take the risk or not. "I enjoy our friendship as well, yet I was wondering if you want to take a chance on us becoming more than just friends. Forgive if I'm being out on line on this. Will you take a chance with me, to be my Kāna ipo*?" The Kahuna of Poni Island asked his dearest friend, to be his sweetheart. Would she say yes or no? Kahiau was finally asking her when he should asked a lot sooner than this but it had been asked now. The question was, how will Dea respond back to him asking her to be his Kāna ipo*.

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ Kahiau's heart rate was going faster as he asked her to be his sweetheart and while he waited for her answer. He wasn't sure how she would respond back to his question. The Kahuna of Poni Island was hoping that Dea would say yes but there was a chance that she would say no. Relief went across his face as she had said yes to be his sweetheart. He lifted her hand back to his lips and kissed her hand again. "Kāna ipo,I'm so glad you said yes." Kahiau said as he got up from the chair and went behind Deanna so he pull the wheel chair out some so he pick her up. But first he picked up Jasmine, the Rockruff, and Lighting, the Pikachu, and set them on the sofa one at a time.
Then he took Deanna into his arms bridal style and gently twirled them around the room. Kahiau was joyful and thankful that Dea said yes. "Oh Dea, you made this man an ecstatic one by saying yes."He said with big smile on his face, looking into her own face. He was debating whether he should kiss her on the lips now as they faces were close to each other now. "Kāna ipo,"the Kahuna whispered softly to her her before leaning his head down to kiss her on the lips. He did so slowly so Dea could keep him from doing so if she wasn't ready for it yet.

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ Kahiau just listened and watch as the two friends left. A sigh of relief came from his lips due to Selene closing the door and locking before she pulled it closed. "While I'm not surprised by the news of a betting pool about us, but surprised that my own father was the one to do so and was able to keep it from me... Dea, my kāna ipo ,I agree fully on that." Kahiau said as Golisopod, Goodra, and came out their poke balls. Garchomp went to the front door and sat down against it, looking towards the happy couple. Goodra did the same but at the back door. Golisopod made himself comfortable in his usual spot on the couch. Kahiau just grinned at that, seeing them wanting to support them in their own way. He looked back into Dea's eyes before leaning and kissing her sweet lips.

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ Kahiau chuckled slightly at Dea's words before he began kissing her. 'They certainly did.' He thought as he enjoyed her sweet lips. Kahiau wanted to let this kiss be a long one but knowing that others would be arriving sooner than later... He made sure that the kiss was gentle, tender, and sweet before pulling his lips away from his Kāna ipo. His eyes sparkled before he spun them around the room again. Before setting her back down in her wheel chair, he kissed her on the forehead.
"Considering that we do have plans for the evening, we can find time on another day to do more of that." The kahuna said with a wink at the end while Dea adjusted herself in the wheelchair if need be after he sets her in it. " Would you be willing to finish cutting up the sweet potatoes and then some plantains? I was thinking chip styled and already have the frying warming up the oil so by the time you're done cutting them, the oil will be ready." He said as he headed back into the kitchen to finish cutting up the poni radishes. He was behind and getting the prep work done for tonight's get together but there wasn't a big rush though.

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ Kahiau let a chuckle out after hearing her giggle."Oui, but sadly that won't be later tonight though." The kahuna gave her a sad puppy face before smiling again."As for the sweet potatoes, I want to sprinkle sea salt on them after they come out of the fryer. Then sugar on the plantains once they come out the fryer " He told her what his plans were for them.
Not long after that, Kahiau heard some barking outside and it was getting louder. 'I better not start cutting more poni radishes until I know what that barking is about.' The Kahuna thought before hearing a knock at the door."If I'm not mistaken, that sounds like the Rockruff that I gave to Dan earlier today. I'll get the door Dea," he said before leaving the kitchen and went into the living to the front door. Garchomp moved out the way and went to over to where Golisopod was sitting and began talking with him.
Then Kahiau unlocked the door and opened it to find Dan and the Rockruff with a few others standing there. "Alola Dan, Rockruff. I see that you found a friend since we talked earlier today. Alola and welcome to Poni Island young lady. Come on in and take a sit if you like. We're in the midst of getting supper ready for my sister's group of friends that are coming over. Once I'm done here though, I can take the two of you to my restaurant and fix us supper there if y'all hadn't had supper yet." Kahiau said to them as he went back over to the kitchen area. "Do either of you have any questions for me while I work on the poni radish burgers?" The island kahuna asked them while cutting up more poni radishes. The living room, dining room, and kitchen had an open floor plan so it was easy for conversations and interactions to flow.

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ "Aye, I do know where to find them across the islands in the wild. I do have a few that I have been training like Dan's Rockruff has been trained. I trained them to know how to get to the Pokemon Center, the Ranger station, and my place to get help for you if you need help and able to reach those places yourself from anywhere on on Poni Island. Yet would you rather catch your own rockruff on your own? Or would you want one of mine? " The kahuna asked Crystal, wondering how she would respond to his questions.
Then Kahiau turned his attention to Dan."Yes, I do and it's up in a huge tree as well. " Kahiau grinned and chuckled at Rockruff as it yipped happily as he was jumping up on his legs, before bolting across the house. "Glad to see you again as well little one." He commented to Dan's Rockruff.
"I'm Kahiau if Dan hadn't already told you what my name was." He said as he realized that he hadn't introduced himself to her or introduced Dea to them. "This lovely lady over here is Deanna, my girlfriend. She tends to go by Dea for short as well. How are the sweet potatoes coming?" Kahiau asked Dea as he started to put a few slices of poni radishes on into the frying pan.

Once we are on our way to my restaurant, I'll let her out and see if the two of you will work out together or not. Some Rockruffs are picky with who they are with. Rockruff that Dan has hadn't open up to anyone until Dan came on the scene today besides me." The kahuna said to Crystal as he put the cooked burgers into the warmer and then added a few more into the frying pan. He listened as Dea commented as well.
Then Kahiau glanced around the living room to see that it seemed a little crowded with all the pokemon that were out and about."Yeah, we can help you find one if the other Rockruff doesn't work out." Kahiau said before looking at Dea. "Go ahead and start putting the sweet potato chips into the fryer basket. Then put it slowly into the hot oil that's ready to go." He said to his sweetheart and was wondering when Estelle and Selene would get back as he flipped the burgers over in the pan.
"Goodra, Garchomp, and Golisopod, time to return to your poke balls for now." He said to his pokemon that were chilling out.They returned to their balls without protest and quicker than normal. Kahiau grinned at seeing Dan's reaction to the restaurant in the tree. " My favorite thing about it is the amazing views. I hope that neither of you are afraid of heights." Kahiau mentioned as he place the last few cooked poni rashes into the warmer. Then he turned his attention back to Dea.
"That's should be enough cooked poni radishes for now. If the rest of the group wants more, they know how to cut and cook more up later tonight. I trust you to keep things from getting out of hand here." He said to his sweetheart before kissing her on the forehead. "I hope y'all will have a fun night Dea and see you later.'' The Kahuna said to Dea before heading to the door.
"Crystal, Dan, let's head on to the restaurant now." Kahiau said as he opened the front door to head towards his restaurant. He was expecting them to follow him out of the house now. He went out and went down the steps to the Poni Path. He stopped to take out the poke ball with the new Rockruff inside. Kahiau would let it out once Crystal and Dan were outside with him.

✨ Kɑɧiɑʋ 💫 Aɗélɑɾɗ 💫 Beɑʋɱσɳt ✨ " We'll see once we're outside how it goes." The kahuna commented back to Crystal before stepping out the door. "I didn't think you would be afraid of heights Dan, but double checking with the two of you." He said as he noticed that Crystal hadn't said anything about heights so he assuming that she wasn't afraid of them either.
Once they were all on the Poni Path, Kahiau let the female Rockruff out of it's pokeball. The new Rockruff appeared on the path, not far from the young lady with a Zoroark and the ice type Vulpix. She went towards the three, sniffing the air for their scents. The vanilla scent became stronger as the Rockruff came closer to the girl. She liked the warm scent of vanilla and she began to rub her rocky collar against the girl's uninjured leg gently but continuously.
A chuckle escaped Kahiau's lips after seeing the Rockruff going over to Crystal and responding to the girl. "Looks like you got a winner there Crystal. She likes you and rubbing her rocky collar against your leg like that means that she likes you. The fact that she's doing it gently shows that she had noticed that other leg was injured and doesn't want to cause you any more pain." Kahiau pointed out to Crystal. " She's more gentle than Dan's Rockruff." He said as he looked back towards Dan's Rockruff, that was certainly rambunctious one out of the two pokemon.
