Since the guild is currently under reno, I figured I would post a list here of what is currently being done so people are up to date on what's going on. It should also give you guys an idea of what's to come as well. And if you see something off or have suggestions of your own you want to voice, please let me know!

As of April 9th, the majority of the updates have been concentrated on the western part of the map. Blume Town, King Town, Nix City, Port Card and Applegate City have all been updated with new areas to explore, new wild Pokémon added to the connecting routes, and new jobs to complete for money and rewards. The images for all of these areas have also been updated to remove the watermarks from Photobucket and make everything look cleaner.

Additionally, some changes have also been made in terms of guild mechanics. Prices have dropped in the Poké Marts to reflect the more recent games, and jobs now give out more money and experience upon completion. We're also planning to update the jobs so that they boost the affection level of any participating Pokémon. Gym Leaders will also start handing out prize money upon defeat to make earning cash a little easier.

The next areas that are scheduled to be updated are The Rowling Forest and Doyle Town, both of which are almost finished. After that, the next target will likely be Stroud City.

We appreciate any feedback you guys have on these areas, and look forward to posting soon with more updates. Thanks for your patience, guys.

It took a little longer than expected, but The Rowling Forest has finished being updated with fresh images as well as new items from Legends: Arceus, such as mushrooms and medicinal herbs.

With the exception of the Ranger Academy, Doyle Town has also finished being updated. It looks like the Academy will take some additional time as the crew decide how exactly we want to incorporate Rangers into the guild and what the Ranger system will look like. As the Ranger series is a popular one within the Pokémon franchise, we want to make sure it's done justice. We appreciate your patience as we continue to work on it.

The Pokémon Trainer School has also had a few updates regarding evolution rules as well as affection. Here's a list of what has changed:

  • The time restraints regarding evolution have been removed. Pokémon can now be evolved once the conditions have been met.

  • You no longer require a certain amount of battles to evolve Pokémon. It can be done as soon as you have the required EXP.

  • Secondary Evolutions will now require the EXP of both the first and second evolutions to be fully evolved. For example, to evolve a Charmeleon into a Charizard, it will require 52 EXP in total (16+36).

  • The number of badges required to fully control trade evolutions has been dropped from five down to four. This can still be reduced further down to three badges by raising affection.

  • Basic cooking instructions have been added to the Affection System outlines.

Last but not least, a few changes have been made regarding character creation. Trainers now begin with two Potions as well as Camping Gear to cook meals for boosting affection. Finally, the Professor now gives out five Poké Balls to new trainers as opposed three. Hopefully these changes make things a bit easier for people that are starting out.

In addition to hashing out the Ranger System, we are looking to update Stroud City next, which should be fun. The Pokémon Trainer School is also in need of an update, as we need to add new items to the list as well as clean everything up to make searching for information easier.

That's all for this update. As always, we appreciate any feedback you guys have regarding the work that's been done or things you hope to see happen next. Thanks guys!

Lots of stuff has been done in the last few days, so I figured it was time to give you guys another update!

First off, I'm happy to report that Stroud City is up and ready to go! We're toying with the idea of adding another facility of some sort in the near future, but for now everything is set for people to RP.

The Pokémon Trainer School subforum has had a major makeover, which includes adding new items from both the Gen 8 games, as well as new formatting to make finding specific information much easier in all of the threads. More specific details for money, affection, etc have all been included, so any questions you might have can most likely be answered there.

The jobs are in the process of being updated to include affection for participating Pokémon and should be finished later today. If possible, we'll try to add some new jobs as well to give you guys more variety for earning money as you travel the region.

After the current jobs are finished being updated, we'll likely be setting our sights on Oppel Cave next. Hopefully I have more to report to you guys soon. As always, please feel free to give us feedback and suggestions on the finished guild sections as we continue to power through. Until next time!

Hey guys! I'm pleased to announce that both Oppel Cave and Moore Harbor are updated and ready to go! Oppel Cave especially has been expanded with new areas and now also connects King Town to Stroud City via the underground tunnels!

The job boards around the region have also been updated so that you now earn Affection as well as EXP for your Pokémon upon a job well done. We've been trying to make them a little more generous in terms of money pay out as well, so hopefully they seem more appealing to everyone.

With Moore Harbor and Oppel Cave finished, we'll have to decide whether we want to work on the southern islands of the map next or focus on the northern region instead. If you guys have a preference, please feel free to let me know. Until next time!

Hi everyone! Sorry it took so long, but Port Dam is officially good to go. In addition to getting a total makeover, we've also added in a new gym and gym leader to Port Dam to help test your skills!

I'm not sure yet if we're going to work east or west as we go through the islands, but I'll let you guys know when we have more to report. In the meantime, let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the updates. Later!

Hello again!

I'm pleased to report that both Seussville and Sohmer City are now fully updated and ready to RP in!

We're probably going to give the nearby Alcott Channel a quick makeover before turning our attention to the western side of the islands. As always, please let me know if you guys have any concerns or suggestions about the current and upcoming updates. Until next time!

Hello, ladies and germs! I've got another progress report for you!

Alcott Channel, Lewis Town and Marvel City have all been fully updated and are finally ready to RP in! With the exception of Mt. Snicket, that means the southern half of the map is all good to go!

We might take a little time to look over what's been done so far and add a few things before going forward, but the next steps will likely be Tolkien Town and the Funke River, as Mt. Snicket is currently delayed while we tweak things there.

Let me know if there's anything you guys would like to see prioritized, or if there's anything else I should be aware of. Until next time!

Hi guys! I've got another update for you!

I'm pleased to announce that both Mt. Snicket and Tolkien Town are fully updated and ready to go! Mt. Snicket also has a new Colosseum Champion for anyone looking for a proper challenge.

We're still trying to figure out what we want to do with the Funke River, but I promise we're working on it. That and Redwall City will be our next projects, so I hope to report again soon with good news.

As always, please feel free to give me feedback or suggestions regarding the current and upcoming updates. I'm always happy to hear your thoughts. Until next time!

Hi everyone!

Sorry things have been so slow lately. I'm afraid there's been some IRL complications that have been slowing down progress. It might take a little longer than expected to finish up the last chunk of the guild.

Redwall City is technically updated, but we still plan on adding some new facilities and upgrading old ones to help it feel more complete.

Again, I'm so sorry about the lack of progress lately. Hopefully things change soon and we can finally get everything finished. There's not too much left, so I hope you guys can be patient with me. Until next time, guys. Take it easy.

Hi guys!

Sorry that this hiatus has taken so long, but I'm happy to announce that we'll be resuming work on the guild update as of today. Redwall City and Funke River will be our first areas of focus before we move on to the rest.

Thanks for your patience, guys. I look forward to reporting again soon with some progress.

Hey everybody! It's been a long time coming, but since we actually have people joining up and posting semi frequently again, I'm gonna try my best to get things updated again.

First and foremost, I'll be working on adding in the new Pokémon from Legends Arceus and Scarlet and Violet throughout the different routes and exploration points. With the exception of paradox and legendary Pokémon, I already have an idea where to put everything, so hopefully it won't take too long to implement.

If there's anything else you'd like to see sooner rather than later, or if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to either post here or message me privately. Peace!

Hi gang!

Now that Gaia has finished with all of its maintenance, we can finally get to posting again! For my part, I'll be getting back to my work on adding in all the new Pokémon from generation nine. Hopefully I'll have that done soon.

As always, let me know in the meantime if there's any suggestions or concerns you have for the guild and I'll do my best to address them. Peace out!
