Xylia saw the confusion on the youngling's face and she couldn't help the chuckle that escaped her lips. "You can call me Lia if that's easier." Her mother had picked a more traditional Aishan name for her and she knew it could be confusing at times. Xylia tilted her head thoughtfully before finally nodding. "Alright then. We will test out the lotion and I'll show you the joys of a sandcastle. Have you ever done that before?"

Tihomir's face brightened as she gave him an easier name to use. "Okay Lia!" he said happily. "Are sandcastles the buildings people make in the sand? I think I saw my brother make one once..." He took a moment to put a little bit more of the lotion on his skin but careful to not use too much. "I guess let's go..." If nothing else he had the lotion he remembered that worked well on the burns after they happened.

"Yep! It's actually a lot of fun and we can also play in the waves. I like letting the water wash over my feet." Xylia smiled encouragingly as she led the youngling along. She was going to make certain he had a fun day at the beach! She was confident in her ability to play and in the lotion's ability to protect his skin. Truly she hoped it would help him out. It would be a shame to miss out on beach days like this!

"Okay Lia..." Tiho said a little more hesitantly but still followed her out of the shade and towards the sunny side of the beach. His eyes squinted at the sun and he kept his gaze downcast. Yet he found that he did have fun with Lia doing all the things on the beach. And for the most part, his skin held up pretty well with that protecting lotion on it. He'd definitely have to see if his parents could find any more of that anywhere, even if they had to get some from Oba though surely they could find it in Matori too. "Thank you, Lia." He said as he hugged her legs and squeezed in his thanks. He actually had a fun time at the beach today! Just wait until he told Goran and their parents!

"You're welcome!" Xylia winked towards the boy before the sudden hug caught her by surprise. The teen froze before slowly reaching down and ruffling his hair affectionately. She truly hoped that he would have fun building a sand castle with her. Already the young hybrid was looking across the beach to see whatever materials she could find to use as decorations. Maybe a few of those shells? Xylia chuckled before motioning for Tiho to follow her.
