Absolutely. I remember joining these and other stoner guilds when I was 14-15, now I'm 30; it's been a trip in every way.

And speaking of, I remember having to ask around for dealers to get high, now all I have to do is visit the dispensary ~15-20 mins away and I can buy as many edibles as I want.

I joined Gaia on December 2nd of '02... That's like almost /20/ years ago.

Things have changed so much, not just in gaia but irl as well.

I do like the dispensary thing though. Being in Washington state we've been doing the 'legal' thing for a while now.

I miss a lot of things about before 'legality' though.

This is the first time I've posted on gaia in literal years.

I'd also love to say I'll post more, but I can't. I don't know if it's lack of motivation or whatever, but I don't know.

I do know I miss this place and you guys though!

Im 37.

My most active times were when i lived in Florida and was in college.

I remember the days of having to find a dealer. They werent that long ago for me... Illinois went legal 2020.

Things are so different. I do miss how active things were back then in here....

Here in California, it's been almost 6 years we've been doing the legal thing.

What do you miss about the "before" times?

What do you miss about the "before" times?

I miss the social aspect. my plug would come to my house with a backpack and like 12 strains to choose from. we would smoke a little of some so I could see which one I wanted.

I got free deliveries too!

I actually met one of my closest friends because she was my friends' weed dealer and he gave her my number lol.

Gotcha. Your pre-legal days sound a lot more fun than mine.

Or maybe I'm just still in the "holy s**t, I can just buy this at a weed store now and they just LET ME?" phase.
