  The woman that sat in front of her was…. daunting. Claudia’s attire and haircut weren’t the features Sumi was intimidated by the most. It was the tattoo on the woman’s neck, and from a glance, it would be hard to miss if one wasn’t paying attention to the finer details. Sumi had noticed just briefly that the tattoo appeared just slightly raised above the woman’s skin as if it wasn’t just a mere tattoo. Mocha eyes fixated on Claudia’s vivid pink ones. Sumi had assumed they were contacts though it was hard to tell unless she was closer to see the rings around Claudia’s iris’ as contacts would be. Sumi tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, continuing to analyze the woman as they spoke. Claudia’s answers were vague or said in such a way to make Sumi think harder. Whatever Claudia was hiding about herself, she was excellent at doing so. Not budging a single moment no matter how hard Sumi had pressed for an answer.
Sumi did want to ask Higgins about his identity fraud issue Claudia has spoken about. If it were true then this woman knew a lot more about Sumi than she wanted to speak about. This made Sumi more terrified than intrigued. Sumi had to admit though the wink given to her caught her off guard, making the blood in her cheeks rise just slightly enough to stain it a light shade of pink. Silence filled the air around the pair before Claudia filled the void with her alluring voice. “The man who took those children isn’t your average kidnapper. I’m afraid what he intends for those kids may be quite macabre. If you want to catch him before he can succeed, you’re going to need my help.”
“So you know where he is?”
“No.” The tone from Claudia was flat, not like the other vocal tones she’s been using through the interview. “But I know the man who does. I can take you to him, provided you’re still willing to go.”
Of course, Sumi still wanted to go. She became a detective after all to help those in need; children’s lives were on the line. Who in their right mind would refuse to accept help? It was just that, Sumi could sense there was something else Claudia wasn’t fully telling them like she wanted something in return for helping them.
“...and why would you want to help?” Sumi inquired, attempting another jab at the woman. Just to find something that may be hidden within Claudia’s true intentions, though that all depended on her answer. For the children. Of course, this task was for the children, it was the other answer Sumi wanted to know more. What else was in it for Claudia? The chains jangled, nearly giving Sumi a jump from the sudden metal-on-metal noise. With a quick shake of her head, Sumi looked back at the agents. She of course didn’t have a key to the cuffs, therefore she couldn’t unlock them for Claudia.
Sumi stood from the chair, brushing herself off a bit, waiting for the agent's next demands from her. She did want to message her family, at least her father to let him know she was safe and doing okay. Except all her items were confiscated when she stepped foot into the building. FBI protocol and all that jazz. Sumi moved away from the chair, in case they would place the square confinement space back to its place around Claudia.with :: Claudia, agents
