“Aha! There she is! Told you.” Amandine exclaimed, pulling herself away from Rox’s side with a smirk to greet her mother first. Sauntering over to Akela (and noting that her attention was on Ori, wandering off to explore on his own, liiiiike usual), she didn’t hesitate one bit as she gave her mom an affectionate nuzzle under the chin. “Hi, mom. How’s it going?” With a happy rumble, she pulled herself away, flashing a smile. “You know what? Don’t bother answering that, because your day is about to get better. Guess what I found while I was out and about? Or, rather, who...” With that, Amandine motioned towards her father with a nod of her head, more than pleased with herself. “Please, do feel free to give me the grand title of “Favorite Child” now, I’ll gladly accept it.”

“I’m not really any of the herbs or flowers that Amandine was keeping an eye out for, but...” Giving a casual shrug of his shoulders, the normally stoic Rox’ couldn’t help but smile at his mate as he approached. He bumped his nose against hers gently, enjoying the fact that they were actually able to see each other again after the tribe’s busy yet necessary “moving in” period. Rox let out a content hum, pressing a kiss to her cheek. “I’ve missed you, so much.” At the light, yet very insistent shove that Amandine gave him, the male rolled his eyes. “And the kids, too. They were very missed.” With a fond shake of his head at his daughter and a light huff (which, of course, drew a laugh out of Amandine), he turned his attention back to Akela. “So, how has your morning been? Or just... things in general. Not too stressful, I hope? I know all of you have been busy around here lately, getting adjusted to the new home and all.”

Aura:
Aura let out a happy noise as her elder gave her a friendly tap with her tail. She really was a silly girl and loved the affection her elder showed her. Her grin had widen as she listened to Kithara. "Mmmm no I haven't. I am not sure if I should find my own den or stay with mom. I know dad had left to find a den for him and mom to spend time in and would be back but I'm not sure when he was coming back. What do you think I should do? Do you want me to leave you so you can check in on the others?" she worried that she was stopping her elder for doing what was needed. She knew she could be a bit of a paw full.


Akela:
She had noticed Aura bound up to Elder Kithara and laughed softly. That child had so much energy you would think she was a flower herself and pulled the energy from the sun. Ayaka as it seemed had went over to Amy and her family. She was always wanting to learn the different ways to communicate with the other foxes so it didn't surprise Akela that she was over there. Now where had her last lovely daughter gotten to? Just as she had thought that Amandine had popped up with a nuzzle to her chin. Smiling she rubbed her head back against her child's. "Hi sweetie," but before she could answer Amandine had cut her off. Which if it hadn't been for the fact that her mate had popped up as well and showed her love Amandine was forgiven for that little bit of rudeness. Chuckling Akela went on to say "I suppose you are right I am better now and you are forgiven and saved from a scolding my dear child." She wouldn't be telling any of her children that one over the other was a favorite. That was a recipe for arguing. Turning her attention back to Rox she gave his cheek a loving lick before pressing her body against his and relaxing into him. As she thought of it she had been stressed but hadn't noticed to much till this moment with him by her side. "It has been very busy. But think for the most part everyone is settled. Though it took to just now to realize I had been fretting over the children and the others." sighing she told him "Mother hening at its finest huh love? How are you? Is everything well with you?"
