Mahanon Savage Siren's First Mate ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As the moon elf finished pouring the glasses, he heard Lavi calling to him from the door. Shaking his head with a small smile he didn't respond. Lifting his head along with the glasses that sat on a tray he turned and walked back towards Ashoka. Setting the rest of the drinks down he smiled. "The potion I crafted? Specifically designed by myself, for myself. Took me a year of trial and error to perfect. It doesn't restore magical energy. But it helps me not fall into a week long coma while I slowly restore my energy" Mahanon smiled as he sat on the edge of the tub. He watched as Ashoka undressed and sat into the water. Yep, Ashoka surely has changed. Taller, more built, the scars on his body. Even without the abs being apparent, Mahanon simply imagined Ashoka lifting him and man handling him with great ease. And yes, even down there Ashoka has grown. Shaking his head with a small laugh. Such the odd relationship the two had. "And yes, our room. As long as you reside on this ship...this is our room" Mahanon smiled as he stood back up. Slowly yet casully undressing himself. "Our table, our equipment, our bed.....and our bathtub" Mahanon mused to Ashoka then. Slowly climbing into the bathtub to join him. The water was hot, steaming and soothing. The smell of the oils washing over his senses as it did the room. Mahanon fit so perfectly inside of it. Luckily the tub was built for two. Taking in consideration that Mahanon only shared it with those who were considerably larger and taller than him. So he had to keep that in mind. Mahanon positioned himself in Ashoka's lap. But kept his back to the other side of the tub. So he was facing Ashoka face to face. "Declan nor Lavi would dare harm you. They both should be feared and respected, but me? Neither of them can command magic as I can. Nor perform magic as I can. They've seen what I'm capable of. So they would rather not face my wrath. You are safe, Little Soka~" Mahanon teased the other moon elf. Mahanon sipped his own glass of wine before setting it down on the table beside the tub. "I wound you? I thought running with thieves would've toughened you up a bit. Or is that something only I can do?" Mahanon teased Ashoka then. "Well you could have more of this, as long as your stick around. Or don't let any thieves snatch you up again. They would have to get through me this time" Mahanon said leaning forward. His hands cupping Ashoka's cheeks in them. Mahanon was more serious then. He hated he wasn't able to stop those people from before. He also hated the fact that Gracie was now gone. Where was she? After that day....life had been such a rollercoaster. Nothing but survival of the fittest, cheating death and even sleeping with death at this point. Giving a small weary smile then, Mahanon nodded his head. Mahanon's eyes drifted towards the ceiling of the room. The Savage Siren was his home. What witch of sorts wouldn't be so in tuned with their home. He sensed great tension surrounding the ship. The Moon elf gave a small mystical hum as he looked back down to Ashoka. "Ashoka..what if we take an adventure. Just for us two? Like the old days?" The moon elf ask almost somberly. His arm s now looping around Ashoka's shoulders. "We can set out the second the repairs are done on the ship and once I make sure Declan has fully recovered" He said with a small smile. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Outfit I'm Wearing: Allegiance: The Savage Siren Mood/Health: Happy/Somber Thoughts: Litle Soka is all grown up now... But his attention switched on a dime to watch the unannounced show of Mahanon stripping down. "Mmm, you really have aged well. You’re a drink I could nurse a long time.” That was one hell of an awkward simile, but he stood by it. His not-so-inner drunk demanded it. ”Brothers with benefits sounds seriously ******** up, doesn’t it? Man what a weird relationship we have. Poor Gracie must have felt like a third wheel all of the time.” Speaking of, Mahanon hadn’t cleared up what happened with her yet, but in Ashoka’s gut he knew that there was a depressing story in that topic, and he was not about to interrupt this mood. "And perhaps we can promise never to use any of them without the other? The bed and bath are much too big for any one man." Oi, where did he get off being such a cad, but at least he was having fun doing it. As soon as Mahanon was settled in his lap...holy s**t how was he supposed to keep thinking straight Ashoka's hands came to rest on Hannie's powerful yet narrow hips. "Hmm, relying on pure power to protect your assets. And here I thought you would say something about them automatically liking me or a camaraderie or respect amongst the crew. Doesn't sound that much different than thieves." He was teasing of course, but it was still highly disconcerting to hear that he was safe because people had reason to fear Mahanon. That was exactly how his organization worked, so perhaps if Mahanon ever swung over to the assassin side, Ashoka'sAsar's reputation might protect him.
He took another sip of wine, savoring the flavor, but still hoping this was far from the last glass he would be getting this evening, after all, Mahanon had kinda cheated him into sobriety, which was a highly unnatural state for the assassin to be in. ”You both toughen and soften me up. You cruelly tease me and only sometimes give in to a damn thorough physical, but, you did earn the nickname 'Momhanon‘ for a reason you know. 'Sides, you’re one of the only people in the world I give a damn about. So yes, you can wound the callous thief.” That said, he wasn’t particularly bent out of shape about it, hell, who would have expected a common thief, especially a drunken common thief, to have an appreciation for fine wine. There was a definite sadness in his lover’s eyes as he told Ashoka not to get snatched away again. He couldn’t even begin to imagine what that must have felt like: one minute your best friend is slipping off into town to lighten a few pockets, then the next they are gone without a trace, not to appear for over a decade. ”They know better than that now. I’m not quite the easy target I used to be.” His left hand pulled away and blanketed Mahanon’s hand on his cheek, gently pulling it away so that Ashoka might kiss his knuckles gently. The right hand, however, stayed where it was, too tired to move unless it had to. Stupid freaking fall. His love’s tone startled him. Why did he sound somber? Was something the matter? He sighed at the thought of running off on some adventure with him. It sounded nice and all, but could it actually be done? ”It truly sounds wonderful, but could we truly get away like that? Could you really leave Declan and Lavi, and who knows maybe even piracy behind? And I…I know of quite a few people who would not appreciate me skipping town. Even after I get my current job done, there will always be others that supposedly only I can do.” Huh, he had just mentioned that he was working even out here. That wasn’t exactly what he had intended on, but he supposed as long as it was only Mahanon who knew, it wouldn’t be a disaster. ”Mahanon, I guess I should go ahead and tell you. I’m not exactly a small time thief anymore. I’m officially part of the Guild of Thieves. And I’ve uh…well, I’ve been promoted to the second tier. Which is, well, meaning…ah ******** it! I kill people for a living. There. Said it. I’m only in the Cove cause my current target is said to lurk in this town.” And cue Mahanon thinking a hell of a lot less of him now.☆═━┈ ☠ ┈━═☆ Gang: Mahanon ♞ Turf: Savage Siren ♞ This Your Lucky Day?: ~ ♞ Out Of Contracts: ✵≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎☾≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎✵

Ryder was unaware of the going ons above deck. His focus was the room he now stood in that the water had caused a bit of a mess in. He sighed and began to clean up. He picked up papers that laid on the floor and put them on the desk, one by one, to dry. He then went to the window and latched it shut before turning to the room again. He picked up a few clothing items that had gotten loose and draped them over the back of the chair in the room. He brushed his hair back, and sat on the bed before looking down. He only sat for a moment before looking at the door. Ryder wondered what Lavi was doing now, with the Captain and First mate out of commission for the time being, that meant Lavi was temporarily in charge which also meant Ryder would not see much of him.
Deciding to make himself useful, Ryder made his way to the deck. It had been a bit since Akantha and her crew left and the crew was finishing up cleaning up after the wave, what little damage there had been on deck had already been taken care of. Ryder was quick to help, rolling a few loose barrels back to where they were supposed to go. He aided a few other crew mates in tying the sails back up and found himself looking out at the ocean. It made him wonder just how bad the Guild of Thieves had been hit. He drew in a breath and turned, going back to work in aiding others.

Lavi Gideon ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Accompanied By: ░░░━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Wearing╄━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╃ Lavi watched in shock as Akantha led her crew off of the Savage Siren, the mourning women following her closely. He didn't know what to say or how to say anything to help her but was mostly shocked at her treatment onboard. The crew knew better than to be disrespectful of other captains, especially Pirate Lords. There was only one person who was new enough and arrogant enough to act in such a way. He leaned back on his heels, steeling his jaw. The last of the women disappeared from view and he silently berated himself for not being as thorough as he typically held himself to be. His standards had fallen so incredibly low since Ryder had stepped onto the ship. He wasn't a fool, he knew it was Ryder's presence that made him relax as he did. Even when in his deepest emotions for Declan and Mahanon, Lavi had never once lost his solid spine. He was a pillar of strength on his own and acted more often than not as a sort of boulder for the others when needed. But here, with this puny little thief, he had lost his strength. He'd lost his own guiding principle. No longer. Mahanon and Akantha were right. It was time to get his pet in line. Just like magic, Ryder appeared on deck and started to work. He let himself take a minute to recover before rolling his shoulders back and removing most emotion from his face. He could hide the sadness, as he'd known the woman lost himself, but he couldn't hide his irritation.
"Ryder!" He barked, walking over. The crew froze around them, accustomed to his tone but not to hearing it directed at his pet. His long legs carried him quickly and he stood in front of the slender thief with eyes blazing. "Did you disrespect Captain Kouris while she was a guest on this ship?" He shook his head, holding up his hand. "Wait, I don't know why I even asked. I know you did. Do you know how I know that? Because I know you and I know for a fact that you don't think you acted disrespectfully. I bet you think you just spoke your own mind. Well, you don't get to speak your own mind. Not when you're speaking to someone who outranks you, which, as the captain of another ship and as a goddamn Pirate Lord, Akantha outranks you! You are not her equal, Ryder. You are not even my equal." His voice was raising, but he didn't care. He was furious. "You don't know a damn thing about how her crew works. You don't know a damn thing about Patience. It's because of that brat and the fact that she ran off that two women I've known for years and who have literally saved Akantha's life numerous times are dead. Oh, but you had to speak your mind and make this entire damn ship look bad by disrespecting one of the only people that I care for." By this time, the crew was hard at work, or at the very least looking like it. He stepped closer, lowering his voice and pointing towards the cabins. "Go back below. I don't want to see your face for the rest of our time at port. Go." He spun on his heel, deciding that he was finished with Ryder's rebellions and attitude. Akantha was right. She always was. He was putting too much stock into what was essentially just a pet that would eventually run away and he was sick of it. This ship, the freedom she gave him, that was his true love. Why couldn't he just be content with freedom and the intimacy that he found with his various lovers on the crew? Well, now he would be. Lavi barked out an order to a cabin boy who scurried away in response, his back to Ryder and his fists clenched. He had work to do if they were ever going to set sail.╄━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╃

Ryder had jumped when Lavi had yelled out his name. He had been busy with helping secure another rope when the dragon shouted. He was asked a question and was going to answer when Lavi stopped him. The male went on to berate and bark at Ryder. The younger dragon had not meant harm in standing up for the child from before... He had simply wanted her to stay safe. He stopped himself from responding and kept his gaze on Lavi as he finished speaking. Once the man stopped and lowered his voice, Ryder felt his heart pounding in his chest. He finally tore his gaze away as he was told to go below. When Lavi walked away, he drew in a breath. He looked around deck. He turned and headed back down to the cabin. He looked around it and sighed as he leaned against the wall. He slid down it after a few moments and drew in a breath once more. His heart was racing, his head pounding. He put his head in his hands and closed his eyes. He held his head as the pain grew. After a bit, he sat up and winced against the light of the little window. Had he hit his head? He wasn't sure and in that moment he did not care.
Down the hall, Declan stirred in his sleep, bringing the stump from his hand to his head before wincing. He opened his eyes and looked around, recalling the events that had lead up to the moment. He had overused his power. And he was lucky. The power could have eaten him alive had he gone too much further. As a normal man with the powers he held... it was pure luck he hadn't shriveled up when Mahanon and Lavi took over. He was quiet as he laid in bed, looking up at the ceiling. It spun, reminding him to remain as he was. It would take time for his power to regain its strength as well as him.

Ryder had spent the majority of the journey to Estherel avoiding Lavi as he was told. But after a short storm had started out of the blue, he had been needed to help and did so, working to make sure everything was tied down or opened, whatever needed done. He was unsure how long Lavi was going to go without speaking to him. But he wouldn't open his mouth to the older dragon, not until Lavi had the room he needed or rather wanted.
Declan had healed up rather fast, the magic energy he had lost was quickly replenished. So now, he stood on deck, manning the wheel as his crew worked to get them to shore. He could see land ahead, though he was unsure. He was sure the port ahead was Estherel but it looked off. The light house was no longer shining and there were buildings broken down. "I wonder if what hit us had hit them" he whispered mostly to himself. His mind immediately went to Remy, wondering where his flower was, if he was hurt, if was even alive. He hid the worry and cleared his throat. "Prepare to dock!" he commanded, "We won't be stopping at port. Looks like a ship wreck or two there" he moved the ship to a bare part near shore and let the anchor sink into the water. "Mahanon!" he called, "Lavi!" he went to where his first and second mate were. "We'll be here for a time. Lavi you're in charge of the ship. Mahanon you manage any crew that goes to shore. From the looks of it they were hit by something similar to what we experienced. Absolutely no stealing. If you'd like a bed companion at the tavern, ensure that they are 100% willing" he commanded looking out over the ship as he spoke, making sure his crew heard every word.

Lavi Gideon ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Accompanied By: ░░░━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Wearing╄━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╃ The majority of the vaoyage, Lavi had spent away from Ryder. He wouldn't speak directly to the young dragon, instead barking out orders to the crew without a glance in Ryder's direction. He'd slept in Declan's room or not at all and made a show of sending cabin boys to his cabin to collect whatever he may have needed while also trying to reassure Declan that the Rose Prince was likely fine. Muriel was far inland, after all, and probably didn't even feel the quake. He believed this fully until they finally caught sight of Estherel. Oh no. He mentally mapped the continent and tried to remember where the kingdoms were, but Declan pulled him from those thoughts quickly. He followed his captain dutifully, yelling out repeats of Declan's orders to ensure the crew heard him. When the anchor hit the ocean floor and the ship came to a stop, he rushed to help a few crew members ready the riggings. His muscles shone in the high light, the lack of buildings and therefore shadows leading to a hot, humid day that nearly reminded him of his youth.
Once the rigging was secure, Lavi moved towards his captain and clasped his hands behind his back, nodding as he was instructed. "Aye, Captain." He turned to the crew, pulling out a long sheet of paper that he'd folded and placed in his pocket. He started to read out some of the names, Ryder's included. "You're staying on the ship with me. The rest of you are to follow Mahanon to shore and pick up supplies. If I hear any of you have acted up, you will have not only the First Mate's wrath to deal with but mine as well. Alright, let's get moving!" He yelled, putting the paper back into his pocket and moving up towards the bridge.╄━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╃

Mahanon was tired enough that he let his little brother go out without a grilling or armed escort, which was saying something. And it just so happened his stroll took him by the ramshackle inn a certain pirate captain had acquired for the night. He might have felt a touch guilty about his job, given his brother’s trade, but this particular pirate had peeved the Council for years but never did anything serious enough to earn the Doom of Damocles, or so he had heard. Anyways, a favored pirate had hired him and the price was right so there he stood, instruments stowed about his person, ready to wipe out the ugly stain. Pulling his hood lower so it eclipsed his face unless a light were directly shone upon him. Nipping back to an alley, it was easy to find the pirate’s room: it was the only one with a glass window. It was an inconvenience, but only a minor one, he could get inside easily enough still. He took a running start then ran just a little ways up the wall, just far enough his hand could grab on to the sill of the window and pull himself up. ”I swear this used to be easier. Damn my weak arm.” Sure, that was definitely the only problem. Once he had pulled himself up onto the sill, he pulled out a small file and slid it under the two paned window to see if maybe he had gotten lucky and it would already be unlocked. For once he was lucky and the window slid right open easy as could be. He crouched in the window, surveying the room carefully. Something seemed off, but he dismissed it as the last vestiges of sea sickness dissipating in his body. Stepping into the room, he crept towards the target, dagger ever ready at his side. In a flash he had drug the dagger all the way across the man’s jugular. There was a moment of writhing and choking before the target was eliminated. That’s when he knew something was wrong. The feeling that something was off grew stronger yet and it was only because of this feeling that he was able to duck and roll out of the way as a knife careened over his head. Another figure appeared out of the gloom, cloak hood pulled far down over his face as well, another dagger in his hand the moment the first one left. ”Great. Another assassin.” Not a word was spoken, but both launched into battle, both favoring finesse and well-placed shots over brute force. The fight lasted less than a minute, but it had been vicious and Ashoka stood over the corpse of the other assassin trying to catch his breath. He grabbed all of the money he could find and any other valuables before making his escape. Wasn’t until he was within sight of the ship that he realized he had been injured. It was such a tiny thing though, a straight, neat, shallow, two inch cut along his ribs. As soon as he was back on board and in his brother’s quarters he bandaged the injury and went to bed.
For two days they travelled, and Ashoka felt a touch seasick for about half of the first day most of the rest. But that wasn’t unusual, he knew he tended to get seasick if he watched the ocean while the ship was rocking a bit. Just to be safe though, he kept below deck most of the time and cut back on his food (alcohol) intake. By the time the gangplank was lowered onto Estherl’s soil, Ashoka knew his precautionary measures had not worked, and as soon as he could disembark he ran to a nearby bush and proceeded to heave for several minutes. He felt lightheaded and a touch overheated when he was through, but it wasn’t until he looked down to see what had come up that he knew he was in some trouble. Blood and some strange black ooze had come up along with everything he had consumed on the ship. ”What the-“ But a second later it hit him: the person who had wounded him, they were an assassin, and assassins did dabble in poisons frequently. It was strange for the poison to wait so long, but by this point it was well ingrained in his body. ”This is going to be rough.”☆═━┈ ☠ ┈━═☆ Gang: Siren Crew ♞ Turf: Savage Siren - Estherel coast ♞ This Your Lucky Day?: Worried ♞ Out Of Contracts: ✵≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎☾≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎✵

Declan had been more than eager to dock and go in search of Remy. He had not seen his flower prince in so long and wanted nothing more than to lay in bed with him. When they docked and everybody went off to do what they needed too, Declan dashed off the boat and up to the castle. He nearly startled the life out of Autumn when he dropped from a tree to her side. "Where is Remy?" he asked, looking the girl over. Maybe later...
Autumn rose a brow. "Huh? Oh! You're the pirate right? Um, Remy is in Ishgar and is injured I-" Declan cut her off. ""Injured?" he asked her, "Tell me how bad" Autumn tried to get words out but Declan was gone before she could finish speaking. He took off through the streets of the village and soon came to his ship once more.
"Lavi!" he exclaimed once on board. He stopped, calming down. "Lavi, I have to get to Ishgar. Remy is hurt" He was frantic, thinking of the different ways his love could be hurt. He didn't even realize he'd used the Prince's nickname in his rush. He needed to make sure he wasn't going to lose Remy.
