A small section of forests hidden in the land of fire. They are prized for their mystical ability to seemingly always be shining with the golden light of a crisp new sunrise. Whoever so enters these woods will find their day pass normally at first but will quickly begin to notice the time never passes past the point of the morning while here. Upon exiting the forest time will slowly speed up again until the one who entered is back on the same cycle as the rest of the world.

S A N G O - "KNIVES" - O S A D A
Following the directions left on the back of the note made finding the Golden Light Forest a breeze. It's as beautiful as The Nightingale told me it would be... Sango looked around, completely in awe of the sight before her, the fauna here appeared practically untouched; flawless in beauty. The raising sun may have had something to do with this amazing scenery, which the street performer found to be quite odd in an interesting way. Noontime had long approached before she set foot in this place, yet she wouldn't complain. More time to gather the supplies needed, for The Nightingale was expecting her back by the evening. Sango read over the list to herself aloud, "Nightshade, honey, ginseng, golden thistle, and golden light flower petals..." Grabbing a few essential tools from the pouch she was given, the hunt for said ingredients could commence properly. [ 2 posts ]
Instead of taking the paths created by the lush, green grass between the trees, she headed off into the higher blades of grass, accompanied by weeds and other plants. Nightshade was the first ingredient to collect on the list; the journal providing some key notes as to where Sango might be able to locate them for extraction. Moist, shady areas would likely prove difficult with the illuminated golden glow of the forest, so she took to searching near trees and in shrubs. After half an hour of searching, Sango was able to locate a suspicious looking plant that was identical to the one drawn in her notes. This must be it. She examined it further, noting the similar shape of the leaf, and the famous shiny, black berries the Nightshade plant was known for. Both the leaf and the berries contained properties that could be used for medicinal or toxic purposes, so a generous extraction of the two should meet The Nightingale's request. Grabbing the clamping tweezers from the dissecting kit, and two small vials, Sango first started with the berries. A small number of them were plucked carefully from the plant, and then immediately stored into the vial. Stems were also collected, once its leaves were plucked from it; all stored individually and placed within her pack. [ 3 posts ]
The young street performers eyes glanced to the branches of the trees surrounding her, already searching for the next ingredient on the list: honey. Naturally, she'd have to find hives to extract them of their honeycomb in order to get what she needed. While she wasn't particularly scared of bees, the thought of irritating them should one of the hives be active was enough to force extra caution and planning before beginning her hunt. Wandering around the forest for some time, it was now that Sango started to notice that the time of day had not changed since she had been here. She would have contemplated that further, had it not been for the sight of a hive in the distance. Pulling out one of her daggers, Sango stood approximately three yards from the hive, applying wind nature chakra to the blade. With a precise swiped of her arm, a crescent blade of wind was launched, striking the top of the hive and disconnecting it from the tree. Immediately, Sango took her position behind the tree closest to her, sucking in a heap of breath as she heard the sound of distant, angry buzzing. I'm sorry... but your honey is going to do good things for people, and for that, I thank you. The buzzing ceased after what felt like an eternity, and Sango was able to extract a piece of honey comb from the broken hive on the ground. With a few tools and a filter, five servings of honey were placed into a singular container, ready to go. [ 3 posts ]
The third ingredient had more special notes than anything else on the list. While naturally ginseng grew in mountainous regions, apparently The Nightingale had planted various seeds in this forest for testing. It chance of growing was about even, and one of the rarest ingredients to find in this forest despite her efforts. A small map was drawn with some of the prime locations of successfully grown ginseng plants, so Sango would start with those locations first. However, there was the dilemma of having lost her sense of direction in this forest while foraging... She wasn't even sure how to get out of here when she was finished! Her hunt was put on delay due to some tedious backtracking, though this time around, she made sure to keep track of her whereabouts. The first two locations on the small map proved fruitless, as it was likely the plants had died or were taken over by other plant life in the forest. The third location was where she struck gold, finding a plant matching the descriptive drawing in the journal. Instructions were written down on how to properly extract its roots, and following them carefully resulted in getting what she needed. The other locations marked on the mini map were explored to give updates on the status of the plants for future harvesting. [ 3 posts ]
Sango tested the marks she made to find her way back to the entrance of the forest after collecting data on the remaining ginseng plant locations. Three out of the five ingredients were collected, which had taken at least three or or hours time. At least, that's what it felt like. The constant golden glow of sunrise would say otherwise, and Sango couldn't help but feel as if she was starting to lose track of time. She'd have to find the rest of these ingredients quickly if she wanted to make it back to The Nightingale in time. Golden Thistle, the fourth ingredient, was likely native to this forest, given its connection by name alone. Sango was familiar with the plant, even without the drawing reference from the journal. She spotted plenty of thistle that weren't golden, so it was obvious that they grew in specific locations compared to the general plant. Referring to the notes in the journal, Golden thistle grew in the brightest areas of the forests such as small clearings, or locations where direct exposure to "the glow" or sunlight were undisturbed. The plants themselves were rumored to have medical uses, which The Nightingale was testing. The search for these plants didn't take too much effort on her part, finding some almost immediately down the path she chose not to take when she first got here. Further down the path was a clearing, with a heap of them in a clump, golden in color. The plants were extracted, stems separated from the flower heads, and stored in individual containers. Much like the Golden Thistle, the Golden Flower was a native plant to this forest. The Nightingale requested only the petals, which possessed a variety of medicinal uses alongside being used popularly for enchanting. The notes written alongside the drawing of the beautiful golden flower had details about specific concoctions with enchanting properties. The skill itself piqued the performer's interest; something she'd have to talk to her guide about at a later time. While not as common as the thistle, the golden flowers could be found practically anywhere within the forest, and it did not take long for Sango to locate a few to harvest petals from. With the clamping tweezers, petals were plucked from the flowers and carefully stored into a baggy. Having grown curious about what potential properties the stem and flower head might hold, she collected some of those two, and would consult her guide about testing them for potential enchanting properties. That's it! All the ingredients are collected. I better get back. Time in this place sure was odd, and the morning atmosphere was already starting to have an effect on her circadian rhythm. Taking the path that lead her into the clearing, she sprinted towards the entrance and back into the Copper District. [ 3 posts ]

"....HUH!?" Once again though out her time working for the hokage another weird series of events had unfolded, this time however was by far the strangest. Going from fighting that pink haired gorilla and that horned girl with there merry band of weird eyed animals to getting blown away deeper in the forest Clem was more then angry...she also felt abit hunger hangery one could say. Hot angry and hungry Clem removed her armor resealing it back into the scroll that was tied around her waist leaving her other blades out ready to use against those freaky creature. While the boss handled whatever she was doing her focous was on those creatures or at this point she knew them as those Yokai.Checking her gear, checking her straps holding Shibuki and Samuel her beautiful little babies. lastly checking her thigh weapon Azura uncapping the latch around the handle so once she is ready it will slide out quick and smoothly.Silence fell over the tall young mercenary her breath began to slow down, her ears twitching listening for any sound that would break the silence of the forest. Resting her left hand on her weapons handle located on her thigh, Clem would remain ready for the hunt of these yokai. Once she killed them she really really wanted to take there parts, those eyes alone could sell for a ton, but the biggest prize of all was that dragon. Those scales which would make a beautiful set of armor perhaps a pretty outfit, those bones which maybe could be refined into a wonderful weapon. Clems greed knew no bounds especially now that such a rare prey has shown itself.

It took her some time but she was able to find Ranmaru and quickly inform him of the message she was delivered. They were to get here without any stops or distractions. A nod of agreement, both of them were off. It was during the trip towards their destination she had learned that Sei was fired. Shocked but said nothing. It's not in her place to have an opinion. Sei made her rather uncomfortable sometimes. So it would be nice to get a break from that. Now, it was just the two of them. Ranmaru and herself. That... would make interesting conversation when going back home that was for sure.
First, they have to uphold their word to help Konohagakure with the Yokai. Seeing the pink-haired female in view, Sumire bowed slightly, her jet black hair spilling forward with gravity, "Hokage-sama. We came as fast as we could with the message you had delivered to me..." She glanced around, she saw markings, a bit of destruction, but it seemed to be more of shinobi attacks than a yokai. Unless.. nah. Can't be. This far down? That would've been quite the feat. "May I ask what you two have seen so far?" She questioned the Hokage and the rude being that was in the vent at the office last time she was there. While waiting for an answer she was making sure they weren't in a genjutsu. After all, some of the yokai has the ability to place others in a genjutsu.

Chakra and stamina is divided equally should the Chimera not be at full reserves when splitting. The different paths of the rinnegan are able to be swapped along the five, with two branches being given to two of the animals.

Each one corresponding to one of the animals the chimera is made up of. This counts as five separate attacks. Each one ignores the opponent’s endurance stat. This technique can also be used to restore the creature, when it is in five different animal forms, into one body.
