It was mid summer in Kansas, the circus had just come into town near the old Gale Farm. Kansas was certainly an interesting place for a circus, everything was so gray and bland, like an old fashion tv set. This however didn't stop Dreamfinder and Figment from enjoying the festivities. Oh, they were always at these sorts of things, the imagination running rampent in the children here was always setting the Dreamcatcher into overdrive. However, this year was alittle different, as there was no Wizard this time around.
And, unlike every year, Dreamfinder usually met with his dear friend, and fellow Alliance member, Dorothy Gale, whom was also no where to be seen, "I wonder where she could be?" Dreamfinder asked stroking his beard in thought. "Maybe she's alittle late?" Figment, the little purple dragon stated. Figment was perched upon Dreamfinders hat, like a parrot on a pirates shoulder. The duo continued to explore the circus, watching the strong men and fire dancers, elephants, and other exotic mammals this show had to offer. And then, Dreamfinder heard it. A familiar barking.
Dreamfinder turned his head and saw a little black Carin Terrier, why, it was none other than Dorothy's dog Toto! Toto scurried over to Dreamfinder barking and yipping frantically. Dreamfinder would kneel and pet the small dog "What is it Toto? What's all the fus?" sticking out of Toto's collar, was a rolled up letter. "What's this you got there?" Dreamfinder took it and unrolled the sheet of paper and read it to himself. the latter stated:
"To whomever reads this, please deliver to inventor: Blarion Mercuriel."
Dreamfinder continued reading seeing as the letter was addressed to him
"As you know, after my initiation into the Alliance, I had returned to Oz to see the Wizard and my friends, but something terrible has happened! While I was gone, Theodora, that mean old hag, and the Nome King took over the Emerald City! They turned all my friends, and Oz to stone! They've found me and taken me prisoner...I don't know what they want, but Toto was able to escape with this letter. Please send help right away!"
Dreamfinders eyes went wide with horror and, he stuffed the note in his pocket and picked up Toto darting off towards the Dreamcatcher, Once on board he frantically went through take off preparations as quickly as possible all while thinking of a way to call the others, he wasn't foolish enough to take on the Wicked Witch of the West alone, especially if she had powerful friends like the Nome King. then it hit him.
"Figment!" He shouted "Get the jar!" Figment sprang up and saluted "Aye-aye captain!" And zoomed into the spark room grabbing a jar filled with sparked that bounced around like wisps. Returning it to Dreamfinder who took it and popped the lid speaking into the jar for a moment before saying "Now Go!" The sparks immediately flying out the window and across the various lands where the alliance resided.
A few minuted passed before Dreamfinder hit the teleportation switch and the Dreamcatcher zoomed into a warp stream, before undoing and hovering in Oz, just above Munchkin Land. Dreamfinder would dock his ship and walk into the town with Toto and Figment. There, waiting to greet him was none other than Glenda, the good Witch of the North. Dreamfinder removed his hat and gave a bow in her presence "I was afraid Toto's letter would not have made it to you, thankfully I was wrong." Glenda spoke and curtsied to the inventor, both of them standing to face one another
Dreamfinder nodded in agreement "How did this happen?" He asked the Good Witch hoping she'd have answers. Glenda would frown and explain "As you know, Dorothy had defeated Theodora and the Nome King once before, but it would appear that some powerful magic had brought them back to life. Eager for revenge, i assume, they joined forced and took the city with an army of more than just flying monkeys." Dreamfinder listened and nodded already having an idea planned. He looked around at all the Munchkins gazing up at him for answers "Do not be afraid little friends, Dreamfinder always have a plan! I send out some messengers to bring some strong allies to help take back the Emerald City." Glenda and Dreamfinder made their way to the City Hall, where they and the others could meet away from the prying eyes of dark magic... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The messenger sparks, sparks of imagination that carried sounds, zoomed and zig-zaged through the different worlds, hitting Neverland, Wonderland, London, France, etc. Each one carrying the same message:
"To whomever this spark finds, I, the Dreamfinder, request your immediate aid in Oz. It appears that Theodora was not sitting idle as we had thought and she has taken the Emerald City with some very powerful allies. Whenever you are ready, grab onto this spark and speak the word Bubble . It shall take you to Munchkin Land, I shall be waiting for you there..." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

~Continued from Wonderland~
Bubble was not a particularly pleasant way to travel, at least as far as Alice was concerned, on a rational level she was sure it was safe enough. But staring down as the world below her transitioned from one bright whimsical landscape to another she was certain this was going to burst.
What she wouldn't give for a bit of pixie dust just for security.
Eventually the bubble descended, touching down in the town square of munchkin land. And popping dissolving into a momentary shower of glitter.
Alice stepped out, hand on the hilt of The Vorpal Blade, which was currently in the form of a longsword. Despite being ready for battle she did her best to appear relaxed.
"Keep an eye out for fireballs." She told Aurora, from what she knew it was The Wicked Witch's favorite tactic. "And Dreamfinder. Hopefully he's here to greet us."
She had no idea who else might be here. As far as Alice knew Dreamfinder and her were the only active members of The Guard these days.

  When Aurora stepped into the bubble with Alice she couldn't help but let out a surprised gasp when they were lifted up and away from Wonderland. She would watch in complete wonder as they passed through different worlds was a wondrous sight to behold. A kingdom of sand, what looked to be a large, wet forest of sorts, a wide open plain full of animals. It was all so amazing! The thought of the bubble popping hadn't even crossed the Princess's mind as she watched all the worlds go by in total amazement. Once they finally lowered down into the town square of Munchkin Land, Aurora would look around at all the adorable little buildings while also looking down and noting the odd red and yellow brick roads. Her attention went back to Alice when she noticed the younger girl had her weapon drawn and Aurora would blink before letting out a soft sound "Oh!" the Princess would then blink a bit before quickly pulling out her wand and resting the tip in the palm of her hand "He shouldn't be too far, I couldn't imagine he wouldn't be around to greet members of the guard..." she had heard the message and knew that it could be dangerous felt like she could do something to be helpful to the guard.
Aurora would then notice some movement out of the corner of her eye and blinked when she saw a couple of little faces staring through a nearby window seemingly scared and nervous "Hello there! Please don't be frightened, we're here to help!" she took a couple steps forward but the window shutters were quickly closed as she frowned a small bit. She'd then look over to Alice and waved her hand a little bit to the other woman "Put that thing away, you're scaring them!" she lightly chided her before looking around to see more eyes watching from cracked doors and windows. The Princess would slowly put her wand away and offered a warm smile to the all the Munchkins and knelt down before she began to sing a few sweet notes for the the denizens of Munchkin Land. Slowly as she continued to sing they slowly all came out of their little houses cautiously as she continued singing. Soon enough the entire town square was filled with Munchkins who came out of hiding as she finally finished the song and the Munchkins all began to applaud the Princess which she giggled over a small bit. Finally she would look around and smiled warmly at each of them "Excuse me but do any of you know where we could possibly find Dreamfinder? We're here to help but we need to meet with him first!" she would explain and a couple of the Munchkins would look between each other unsure before one would step forward and spoke in a high pitched voice. They would point in the direction and explain that he was meeting with Glenda the Good Witch. Aurora smiled and gently patted the Munchkins head in appreciation for the help "Thank you so much!" she would then turn to Alice and began down the path of the red brick road towards the docks of Munchkin Land "Come along now Alice!" she exclaimed with a sweet smile on her face as the Munchkins seemed to have their spirits lifted by the Princess's song as they all began to chatter amongst themselves about the newest guests and if they truly could help.

"He might be hiding." Alice pointed out, at a glance that's what everyone else seemed to be doing. Small faces peered over the edge of windowsills vanishing whenever she caught their eye.
Carefully she began towards the nearest house, rather wishing she had some drink me if she was going to be going in properly. He hand still rested on the hilt of her blade as she approached.
"I'd rather not, if everyone's so on edge I'm going to assume they have reason to be and follow suit." She was here to fight after all. It would be foolish to come in unarmed. Besides which, the blade was going to be whatever it wanted too.
Still, Alice let out an exhale, doing her best to appear relaxed, before bending a little to knock on the tiny door. "We only need direc-" She paused, quirking a brow as Aurora began to sing.
"Curious." Alice muttered as she turned to watch Aurora's performance and it's effect on the munchkins. Certainly it was effective. Alice thanked the munchkins for directions and followed Aurora on down the yellow brick road.

One Little Spark  "And you're sure, these friends of yours will be able to defeat Theodora?" Glenda asked Dreamfinder, knowing full well the Guard has declined greatly as of recent. "Do not worry Glenda."[/color] Dreamfinder assured her "These friends know how dangerous Theodora is, it's only a matter of time before they answer the call." "And who are these friends of yours?" She asked. "I don't know who will all answer my call, but I do know the other Pen Guard is Alice. You know, the one I told you about?" Glenda nodded in response "The one who fell down the rabbit hole?" "The very same."While the two were talking, they had no idea two had already arrived in Munchkin Land. No, actually, it was Figment who discovered it.In fact, it was Aurora's singing that alerted the little dragon to their arrival. "Hm?" Figment peeked his head out the window to see who it was, initially thinking it was Ariel or Snow White. His big yellow eyes got even bigger and a smile appeared on his face. "Alice!" He showed as he zoomed out of the building like a rocket, just a purple streak of giggling and childish excitement dashing straight for Alice. Figment's little wings flapping as fast as they could. "Alice Alice Alice!" Figment shouted having latched onto the poor girls leg in an attempt at a hug, and a tight one at that. The small dragon looked up at the friend Alice had brought and immediately recognized her. Throwing himself off of Alice to gather his composure, he would stand on his feet and present a bow "Princess Aurora." He said during his bow. Figment, certainly, was a hyper little thing. But it's not his fault really. When Dreamfinder first imagined him, he threw in a dash of childish delight, thus making him very childlike in nature. Not like the other dragons throughout the different worlds. "Ooh Ooh! I can take you to Dreamfinder! I can I can I can!" Figment was nodding so fast you'd think his head would fly off.He reached up and grabbed Alice by one of her fingers and pointed to the City Hall "Come, this way! This way!" He was giggling the entire time. Lights Up For You

She turned as soon as she heard her name called and was treated to a whirring purple blur. "Figment!" It was half surprise, half happiness, sprinkled with concern that he was about to barrel into her. Instead he merely latched onto her leg, putting her on the recieving end of a vice like hug. "Glad to see you too. Do you think you might let g-"
He was already off, making an attempt at dignity for the princess' sake. "Fantastic," she was ready to follow him without being latched on to again.
"The big building I assume?" She followed the direction of her extended finger towards the largest building in town. Still charming, and somewhat diminutive given the residents it was made for. She didn't wait for an answer before moving foreward again, expecting Figment would either rest on her shouler or shoot ahead, depending on the mood. "Come on Aurora. Let's be quick."

While the Princess knew that it was important to stay alert she couldn't help but take in the sight of Munchkin land and thought it to be so pleasantly adorable in every way. First a visit to Wonderland and now here she was in the land of Oz, she couldn't wait to tell Phillip about her travels and what she's seen. However soon enough the sound of excited screaming could be heard as she saw a small purple dragon zooming directly towards Alice which surprised Aurora momentarily before giggling a small bit at the sight of the small purple dragon hugging Alice's leg "Oh my, it seems our little friend is happy to see you!" she commented with a happy smile before giggling once more as the dragon seemed to compose himself enough for a more formal introduction for the Princess who would return his bow with a curtsy of her own "Figment, it's a pleasure! But please Aurora is just fine" after all what were such titles among friends? With that she watched as the small dragon grabbed onto Alice's finger and began to pull her towards a building where Dreamfinder was "I'm right behind you!" the Princess called out with a gentle smile warming her face as she quickly ran with Alice to keep up with their pace and meet with Dreamfinder.
