Hyperborea yawned as she stretch her arms. She was feeling more and more tired lately trying to balance studying for finals with her knightly duties. She was about to turn down a street when she felt the spark of a familiar aura. One she had not felt in a while. She quickly made her way towards the aura to confirm her feeling.
There she was, Delphi. "Delphi! Salut vieil ami! It's been to long." She said sweeping the Polaris knight up in a hug. It was funny the last time they had meet Hyperborea had to look up to the older woman but since her growth spurt she was now a few inches taller.
"How have you been?"

Surprise flashed across her lavender eyes, she had not seen the other in so long, and liked to think of her as a little sister of sorts. Now she was being swept into a hug, almost out of no where, and by a knight who was taller than herself.
"Hyperboria. It's been a long time." She had been out on a patrol, looking for youma to beat with her staff, she'd been so busy lately with real life that all she did while powered up was go to her wonder. She went and she cleaned, she slept there, and she wandered her wonder. There wasn't much else to do there, she couldn't read all the books her wonder contained - a shame really.
"I've been well. And you?" Smiling up at the French girl the Russian was happy to see her - very happy. Hyperboria was one of the few people she could trust and that she liked, she was not the most social of people after all. "You've grown - a lot." Stepping back to look the other over. "And your uniform has changed..hasn't it?"

Hyperborea was beaming so happy to reunite with her old friend. "I'm doing well, I'm almost done with high school." She informed the older woman proudly.
"Yeah I finally started growing about a year or so ago, it was about it." She laughed a little embarrassed. "I do have the blood of giants in me after all." She joked.
"Yeah that change was more recent, I found this magic fountain at my wonder and well this lead to that and I ended up with this new uniform." She explained doing a little twirl to show off her whole uniform. She was rather fond of it.
"So what have you been up to. We should catch up."

How could she forget how young the other was? At least when compared to herself. Though the other was now the taller of the two. She had grown and quickly it seemed, or had it really been so long since they'd last seen each other? Perhaps it had been. If she thought about it - it had been. "Do you?" She questioned, raising a dark colored brow.
"I have the blood of ice and winter in me." Deciding to add to the others joke. After all Polaris was cold and it wasn't like Russia was warm either. Her family all being from Russia she could claim it, added to that her name was Winterlynn. Winter just became her really.
"It suits you. A fountain did that...interesting. I'd like to see that fountain one day. As for myself I've been cleaning the living quarters at my wonder and tending to things." What else did she do aside from work? She wasn't much for shopping, unless it was well priced, and spending time with her family. She wasn't a social sort of being, something which would never change.
"Since we last met I believe I've transcended though." And become a knight. Her uniform different, more form fitting but still very warm. "I haven't been active lately, outside of my wonder anyway." It was more important to her, she wasn't much of a fighter.

"Polaris is rather cold." The young knight laughed. "But I mean more literally, my ancestor Theseus is like 12 or 13 feet tall. The Hyperboreans were a race of giants." She explained.
"Merci. I'd be happy to show it too you, its in the council chambers for old Hyperborean council, they handled the governing of the city." Hyperborea elaborated as she listened to the older knight.
"I can see that. Tu es belle, your markings look magnificent. Don't down play your work on your wonder its as important as the war. Someday this war will end and then we'll need to rebuild the galaxy." At least that was what she believed.

"Ahhh, that would make some sense. I suppose." Though genetically to have something that old turn up now...seemed a bit hard to figure. "I can only assume the people of Polaris were good at handling the cold, given what our Princess wore I assume the cold didn't bother us as much as others." Their princess was certainly not dressed as most would be for such temperatures. Polaris was a cold place. "I wish, if it were true, that I could handle the cold as they once had. It would make my wonder much easier to visit and enjoy." Not that she didn't enjoy it plenty, she did, but the cold was a bit much.
"That I'd like. Perhaps when we form a proper brigade we can take them there...form something similar to the past? But made up of our group? Not that we'd have the same tasks as in the past. But something similar...to honor the past?"
Nodding her head she gave a smile, as much as she ever gave anyway. "Indeed...though I do wonder how we'll ever bring life to space again. Magic or a long wait that we won't see the fruits of. Who will then see it? It seems impossible to rebuild it all. Perhaps though with us all speaking the same language, or all Earth languages, it'll make it easier for all the planets and wonders to communicate if somehow magic restores life to these places. The people there will then also speak the same languages." As language was something which caused miscommunication and misunderstanding and caused wars and issues all over.
