Eirlys had wanted children for as long as she could remember. She loved babysitting! Most of all, she absolutely adored kids of all ages. It had been her dream as a little girl she would one day hold a child who looked to her with adoration and love. While still attending Asterion, she hoped to be a child psychologist one day. Regardless of what they did, she had to find someone to perhaps settle down with, at least eventually. Eirlys wasn't prepared to raise children all on her own...despite her love for them and nagging desire to have them. The idea seemed overwhelming, what if she needed the support of a partner in the event of her being too ill to tend to a child's needs? Or what if something...happened to her.
Most of the dates she went on weren't bad, she just hadn't found anyone who clicked was all. However, the last one had gone so terribly it had hurt. She'd never felt so defeated or miserable. She'd never been told she was fat to her face, and it had stung. The only good in that day had been knowing she would go home to Mei and Calla. They were her best friends...and made her feel like she was on top of all the Realms.
She'd chowed down on ice cream..crying as she tried to comfort herself in vain. It wasn't until Calla and Mei sat down with her and she was in their arms did she finally find solace in their kindness. The truth was, Calla's offer had been so forward...but simple. It did shock her, as she popped a piece of sweet fruit in her mouth...considering what to do.
Closing her eyes she finally brightened up a bit. It was unexpected, but she was grateful. Their children would be beautiful and simply put...perfect. The thought brought tears to her eyes as she sniffed softly, nodding. "Yes...let's tell her we are both on board." She looked to Mei..touching the others hand before smiling shyly. Calla was the leader of their little gang, so everything went through her anyway...but to come to this agreement together felt good.
