Felida Snelt [ Contract Hunter | Level 2 ]
La Rhonde was one of those luxury restaurants that Fel would never be able to go into if it weren't for a job or some other excursion. She'd done a job or two protecting some folks at a fancy dinner, but she had heard about an opening for a specific job here for a high-class banquet. It'd be unlikely that she'd get to eat any of that fancy food, but Fel didn't mind something like that. Just being able to do the work and make whatever money she needed from these people.
The woman from Jappon approached the building and gave a sigh of relief to finially be here. All she needed was to enter and get started on the job. Normally, folks would communicate with cellular phones, but Fel didn't have anything like that. They were expensive and she didn't have a clue where she'd go to get anything like that. For now, all she could do was enter the lobby of the restaurant and ask around for her employer. She'd do that right away and approached the desk in the front lobby.
"Excuse, sir. I here to report in for a job that I've been hired to perform. There's a banquet that I believe is being held here that I was hired to perform. Is there any way for me to talk to who is in charge of security around here?" The maitre d' looked at Fel as if she was some riff raff coming in off the streets. She didn't have the apparel on that would allow her to fit in among the patrons of La Rhonde. However, the moment that Fel mentioned she was here for a security job, the man she was speaking to seemed to let his guard down a bit.
"I can absolutely call them for you. I'll need you to sit and wait somewhere here in the lobby. I'll have our head of security meet you when they're ready." With the instructions she was given, Fel turned away from the maitre d' and walked over to a chair nearby. She took a seat and looked around. There were plenty of well-dressed patrons in the area and a good handful of them shot Fel rude looks as they passed her. It didn't particularly bother Fel. She was used to folks in Yorknew giving her weird looks just because she was from Jappon. There weren't too many people from her homeland in this place, plus the few that were here didn't care to associate too much with her without knowing her. For now, all Fel could do was sit and wait for the head of security while being targeted by all these nasty looks.
"I can absolutely call them for you. I'll need you to sit and wait somewhere here in the lobby. I'll have our head of security meet you when they're ready." The maitre d' sent Fel away from the main desk and got on the phone right away. "She's here. The last member of the team for today's banquet has arrived. You ready to come down here and meet her?" The man nodded and gave an affirming "uh-huh" a couple times before setting down the phone. "She'll be out shortly, hun," he shouted to Fel from across the lobby. It wasn't more than ten minutes later that a tall woman would emerge from a nearby set of stairs. She made her way over to Fel.
The woman was tall, maybe about five feet and ten inches. She had raven black hair that just barely came down passed her shoulders. Her eyes were a misty blue. She wore a standard pair of black slacks and a white button-up shirt. This woman had an air about her that she was somebody not to be ******** with. She stood with her arms cross before Fel and looked at her without the smallest hint of a smile.
"You must be Felida. I heard you'd be getting here today. Good timing. The job is going to start shortly. Follow me and I'll show you around to where you'll be performing this job." The woman didn't have very much to say to Fel and quickly urged the Japponese woman to follow. The two would travel to the set of stairs that the woman came from before. They'd trek up two flights of stairs before the woman would open a door with a key card. Within was a large banquet hall that was almost finished being set up. There were a couple of other individuals there and ready to do the job. The woman motioned for Fel to come with her over to an open bar with a bartender available. She ordered a shot of cognac (neat) and turned to Fel. She reached out her right hand to shake Fel's and spoke. "I'm Hera. At least, that's what you can call me. I don't care if you get along with these other man in the room, but it's gonna be your job to work with them and keep my clients safe tonight. Think you can handle that?" Hera would finish speaking and turn around to grab her glass of cognac and give it a light sip. "Doesn't matter. You're gonna have to get the job done. I'll check in every couple of hours, but you won't necessarily know I'm here. Once I walk out those doors, your job begins. It'll be about twenty minutes from right now til this place fills up with very high-priority guests. Don't let me down, Felida." Hera grabbed her drink and turned away from Fel. She walked out towards the doors she mentioned before and waved her hand as she strutted out the doors. Now, Fel knew her job and would have to get it done.

You can post as your "co-workers" and as Hera for whatever you need as far as conversation goes. Basically, you're going to just run a typical security job. If something happens, that's up to you. If the night goes smooth, that's up to you. If you have to ask yourself "am I allowed to write about this?" then just message me and I'll let you know. Have fun and make tons of money!

Felida Snelt [ Contract Hunter | Level 3 ]
Fel was sitting in the lobby for only a few minutes before a woman arrived and stood before her. This woman was intimidating. The only woman to ever be so intimidating to her like this was her mother, whom she hadn't seen in a couple years at this point. Meeting this woman was almost like a taste of home. When she asked about Fel's identity, Fel would stand up quickly and look up at this much taller woman. She was hoping to shake hands with the woman and introduce herself officially, but the woman instead turned heel and beckoned for Fel to follow towards the stairs. That's exactly what Fel would do.
When the two arrived upstairs, they'd enter into the banquet hall. Everything was a bit overwhelming at first. The room was gorgeous and obviously intended to serve many high-class individuals during tonight's events. Fel would follow the woman to the bar first, where the woman would introduce herself as Hera. She was the head of security and a powerful woman that shouldn't be ******** with. Hera didn't seem to possess Nen, or at least her aura couldn't be detected. Whatever she did, Fel would have to be careful of upsetting Hera. This job would have to go smoothly.
Hera spent a few moments explaining what Fel was supposed to be doing and also ordering a cognac from the bar. Everything that Fel had to do seemed simple enough. She was going to have to watch over high-priority patrons and make sure everything went smoothly. It wasn't necessarily a bodyguard type of job. Instead, it was more like babysitting a bunch of adults while they ate food and got drunk. Fel had never done a job like this before, but it's what she was about to do.
Hera took a sip of her cognac and was off through a door on the other side of the banquet room. It was time to start the job. Fel walked away from the bar and decided to spend a bit of her time before patrons arrived by talking to the other guards in the room. She was sure to enter this building while using Zetsu to keep her aura hidden from others. If these other guards were hunters, she'd likely be able to sense that. Her plan is to activate Ten while she speaks with them in order to see if they make any sort of reaction. She'd project and emotion through her activation of Ten. If they recognized that, then she'd both reveal herself as a trained hunter and she'd possibly know if they were as well. Fel had a strong belief that it was having control over Nen that made one a hunter, not just gaining a license.
Fel approached a group of two guards who were already in a conversation. One of a woman just a bit taller than Fel, and the other was a man who stood over six feet tall. Fel couldn't quite get a bead on how tall he was. She approached the two and waved to them to get their attention. They both turned and gave a small wave before Fel came and stood next to them.
"How you two doing? I'm Felida, but you guys can call me Fel. I take you're also hunters who got called in this job, right?" The other coughed up a laugh and then each flashed their identification cards. Fel smiled and was happy to be around two other hunters.
"I'm Cliff, and this is Rei. Good to meet ya. You ready for this job to get started?" Cliff turned to face Fel directly after he slid the card back away into his wallet and stowed it away. "There's supposed to be a couple senators here tonight, which is why they called in hunters to do the job. I'm curious, what's your specialty, Fel?" Rei turned to look at Fel at this moment, who began to grow a little smirk on her face. At this moment, Fel activated the flow of her aura and began to produce a freezing cold air from her body and projected it at both of the guards. They'd feel the cold wrap around their bodies and drop their body temperature by a few degrees right away. As they felt the flow of aura hit them, Cliff and Rei both grabbed their arms and began to rub them to get back warmth to their body. Neither of them shot Fel a kind of look to show they were aware of the source of this cold. In order to blend in, Fel followed suit in rubbing her arms as if she was cold. She'd speak up right away to not create any suspicion.
"I actually specialize in target acquisition. If you need something or someone caught or found, I'm your gal. How about the two of you?" Fel felt as if she deceived these two effectively. She was definitely a bit disappointed that they weren't on her level. She couldn't consider them real hunters until they learned what she had learned about being a real hunter. Maybe one day they'd learn to use Nen and recognize, but for now, Fel activated Zetsu once more to hide her aura.
"I'm a full-time bodyguard for a private client, but I'm taking this job for some extra cash and experience." Cliff responded to Fel before turning over the conversation to Rei.
"And I'm a medical specialist. I can handle my own doing jobs like this, but I'm more at home in a hospital or on private call to treat someone. I think I got called in for this job just to make sure there's a medical professional on hand." Both Rei and Cliff stopped rubbing their arms at this point and looked around with an air of confusion about them. It was definitely a risk for Fel to create and air of cold in this room, but neither of them really seemed to be catching onto Fel's little plan.
"A bodyguard and a doctor. Well it's good to have the two of you on board also. Hopefully nothing happens during the banquet tonight." Fel shook the hand of her two new acquaintances before turning away and heading towards the other side of the room. It wasn't long after this point that the patrons of tonight's banquet began to flood into the room. It was time for this event to start.
Fel kept to herself and hugged walls as she waited for the patrons to make their way in. As she passed a couple of them, she'd nod to them in acknowledgement or say hello in response to their own hellos. It was maybe just about an hour before everyone was accounted for. Fel looked outside a window to see that the sun was on its way down to the horizon. Nightfall would come soon. For now, all Fel could do was secure the perimeter and make sure nobody would came in that wasn't supposed to be there. It wouldn't be another half hour or so til the events of the night would begin.
"Hello to all my esteemed guests this evening! I am your host and emcee for the night! My name Carmello Rodriguez and tonight is a banquet in honor of my dear friend. Would you please come up here please, Senator?" A loud, brown man was at the head of a small stage in this banquet hall talking to the crowd through a microphone. He called up a dark-skinned man dressed in a fine suit, who would approach and stand next to the emcee. "This man right here is Aguntu Bahaban. He is a senator from right here in Yorknew City who has just been re-elected to serve another term. His family loves him, his people love him, and I sure as hell love this man too. Tonight, we dine in your honor Senator Bahaban. I want you to eat and drink as much as you want. You won that election fair and did so with an overwhelming number of votes. That's why you need to celebrate tonight." The senator shook the emcee's hand and returned to his seat. It was obvious to Fel now exactly who was supposed to be getting all this protection. She was sure that there would be more senators or people of equal priority. Fel hoped that this job would go smoothly and remained on watch the entire time.
The dining commenced shortly after the speech. Patrons would get up from their seats and make their way over to the open bar, returning to their seats with an alcoholic beverage of their choice. Fel wandered the perimeter of the room and even wandered the halls outside to make sure there weren't any intruders who could cause trouble at the banquet. There wasn't anything to really be worried about. Fel had seen a robbery nearby from looking out a window. She'd continue to make rounds and check in with the other guards.
While she was having a small conversation with Cliff, a loud thud could be heard as three men came bursting through the door. One of them wielded an automatic rifle and was waving it around above his head to hopefully inspire fear. The other two didn't seem to have any weapons on them. They burst into the rooming shouting and yelping to grab attention. Fel would hunker down and slip around the corner to get outside the room. She didn't want them to see her while she'd sneak around and hopefully catch them surprised with an attack.
"These guys really have no idea who they're ******** with. I'm gonna take them out before they can cause any harm here." Fel crept around the side of the banquet hall through the outside halls and made it to a door that opens up to the stage area. She opened the door and looked through. There was a curtain there that would allow her cover. Fel pushed forward and hunkered down behind the curtain and peeked around to watch them shouting demands at the crowd. One man had pulled out a pistol at this point and was holding it to the senator's head. The one with the rifle was the one shouting at the crowd. The other one who was unarmed when they came in was tying up peoples' hands with zip ties and taking them to where the man with the rifle was shouting. He'd kick the backs of their knees to make them kneel down on the ground in front of him. Fel wasn't able to make out what anyone was saying at this time, but that wasn't what she was worried about. It was time, now, to act.
Fel dipped around the curtain and moved as silently as she could. She'd hold out her right palm and allow her aura to flow. It was time to strike and she'd have to make it fast. As the aura flowed, a cold air would surround Fel's palm and coalesce into three needles made of ice. She'd take her left hand and hold it out, pushing aura into her hand and creating another cold wind that would begin to form ice in her palm. As she gripped it, the ice would grow and quickly form a katana made entirely of ice. Fel threw the needles in her right hand at the one holding the pistol to the head of the senator. All three pierced the man's wrist and forced him to drop the weapon. The first attack was successful.
Senator, get down!" Fel came rushing in with the katana in hand and directed the senator to get low, which he did. The one with the assault rifle pointed the weapon at Fel and took a few shots, which she was easily able to sidestep before rushing in and getting too close for the man to aim at her very easily. Fel plunged the katana through the sternum of this man and ripped it out quickly. As he fell to his knees, she would put the blade up to his neck and look into his eyes. "Do you want mercy or to die on the way to the hospital?" The man looked at Fel and smiled. He mouthed the words "kill me" as blood filled his mouth. "Very well," she'd say to him before lifting the icy blade and swiping it right at the man's neck. She'd carve through easily and lop the head off of the man. Fel would turn and look to where the other two men were. They both sat on the ground trying to figure out what they'd just witnessed.
"Both of you! You will stay where you are!" Fel shouted at both of these men to stay where they were as she made her way to the one who had been tying up the hands of the patrons. She took the zip ties from him and quicklly tied his hands. Cliff would come over to Fel and speak to her.
"Hey, do you need any help?" Fel would hand him a couple zip ties and would motion to go tie the hands of the other one that was left. She'd then approach the patrons who had been tied up and used the blade of her katana to free them of their bindings. Just as she finished taking care of this, Hera would burst into the room. She'd gotten a call right as things started and had called police to aid the situation, but it seemed that Fel had already gotten things under control, which Hera learned via a call from Rei.
"Holy s**t, Fel! Did you take care of all this on your own?" Fel would nod in affirmation and disperse her ice katana into a bit of snow. "You need a drink, young lady. And some bonus pay while I'm at it. I'm gonna make sure you leave here with a nice pay check." Hera would lead Fel to a bar and order another cognac. Once the drink was finished, Hera would push it to Fel and motion for her to drink. It was harsh. Fel was used to wines and lighter alcohols than this. Hera would leave Fel to finish the drink and go to clear up the situation with all the patrons. After tonight, Fel decided she didn't really want to do this type of work too much more. She wanted to get out of here with a pay check and find some better work.
Technique Used Ice Needles Fel's summons a chilling wind to her hand. Icy needles will appear between her fingers. Each use of this technique creates 3 needles made of durable, solid ice that are able to be thrown at a target. Each of these needles can do 5 HP in damage. Only one can be thrown per standard action. Point Cost: 1SP / 5 Aura Nen Type: Transmuter & Conjurer
Ice Katana Fel holds a hand out and calls upon a chilling wind to her open palm. The wind will coalesce and become solid ice that takes the form of a 5ft. katana. The blade is as strong as steel and just as sharp as the katanas from her homeland. This katana will last until dismissed by Fel. If it takes 50 HP in damage directly to the weapon, it will shatter. While using this weapon, basic attacks have a base amount of damage of 25 HP plus the standard scaling with the Strength Stat. Point Cost: 10SP / 50 Aura Nen Type: Transmuter & Conjurer

Fel nursed the glass of cognac ordered for her for quite a bit of time. This drink really wasn't for her, but she wasn't going to turn it down and waste it. After all, it was an expensive drink ordered for her by her employer. It'd be rude to just get rid of it. While Fel sipped on the harsh liquor, Hera came back over to her, but this time with a huge smile on her face. Fel turned to face her and awaited what news she had to share.
"Well I do have good news. You've earned much more than the typical rates and a few of the folks here were very thankful for what you've done here today. We've wired money directly to your account through the Hunter Association. You'll be very pleased to see to know that some of the others here chipped in and you, young lady, have made yourself on hell of a payday. I hope we'll be able to do business again. I run a lot of security jobs and I'm always looking for someone with experience and skills like yours." Hera gave a wink to Fel as she turned and walked away. It was obvious that this was a successful job. She had no idea exactly how much money she was awarded for this job, but she was certain that she just wanted to get out of her and head to the bank. She needed to get some of that money and go to buy some supplies.
