STREETS OF KAIOS

Full of shops, crosswalks, spooky alleyways, and opportunity, the city strees are usually full of people and cart traffic. More recently, cars of Earth can be seen travelling the roads: interested tourists, people seeking new opportunities, or locals who wanted to try something new. Either way, things seemed to have only picked up on the streets of Kaios since The Moment.

❝..The Broken sword..❞

The feet would platter across the rooftop as his hood bounced on his head. The young burnette would look to the streets seeing the unfamiliar vehicles brought from the, new world. His mouth would furrow and frown as he continued to pratter on and his eyes would fall onto the path before him. The man's steps were filling his ears as his chin tipped to the waning sun and his eyes slowly closed. A slight hum escaped his lips and his hand went to on of the broken blades on his side. His head would shake at a thought he had of this new connection the other world was sending his way. Not long after this thought he would stop at the edge of the last building on the block and prop a foot up on the ledge, looking over as his garbs floated to the side. His lips would purse in a slight smile after as his free hand stroked through his locks as he let out a slight chuckle. "Things are alot different now that I'm this far from home." He'd say with a gleeful tone before stepping up onto the side and crouching over the ledge, looking to the streets. These cars that he looked at were just death traps in his mind, and not as reliable as a horse companion. His hand would stroke his own cheek before a bird flew to the tip of his elbow.

Pavel arrived by train about thirty minutes ago. It was the first time in this particular city--mainly because he was an earthling. He loved to travel and explore though. Seeing that he was in London he thought it wouldn't hurt to make his way to the grand capital of Eldrin. His first impression of the place was great. After all, he loved a lively atmosphere.

Currently, he was walking rather slowly along a street full of shops. A smile on his face. There was so much to take in he didn't know where to begin. There were plenty of food carts to choose from as well. It was when he was walking by one with a heavenly aroma that his stomach decided to grumble in annoyance. The person trying to sell the food seemed to hear it somehow because he began trying to coax him into buying something. Pavel just gave him a smile and a slight head bow as a 'thank you but no' before he continued on his way. Later. He'd eat later. He wanted to get a good lay of the land first. It was a habit of his; although he doesn't remember how that came to be.

At some point, he wandered away from the crowd and walked right into a creepy alleyway. It almost felt like he was in a totally different place. Pavel glanced back at the rowdier street he just recently escaped from--definitely felt like a world away. A slight chuckle escaped him as he decided to focus on exploring the alleyways. Darkness never scared him anyway.

Then he was on a rooftop. He made his way up after getting his fill of the alleyways below. The next thing he wanted to get a look at was a good vantage point. Pavel was just a mere human--earthling as they are now called by creatures from the new world. Not to mention the fact that he wasn't even close to being five feet tall. It didn't matter to him though. He made use of his height. How he got on the roof was mostly thanks to his love for parkour. It always gave him such a rush. Now he was looking at the streets below: a smile stretching across his face.

It wasn't until he tore his light brown eyes away from the peons below to take a good look around him that he noticed something that shouldn't have been there. Someone else was watching the people below. They weren't on the same roof though. Pavel walked over to the edge that was the closest to the other building before he called out to the person that was still a bit away. After all, the person was on the other side of the other building. "Hey!" He called out loud enough to be heard--at least that's what he had hoped. If he wasn't he would have called out as loud as possible with a 'heeeeyyyyy you over there!' "I gotta question. Come 'ere!" Sure he could attempt to get across to make things easier, but he just didn't feel like it. Instead, he resorted to yelling if the other didn't bother to close the distance between them. "Do you know where the best viewpoint is?"

The lame guy on the roof ignored him. He even had the gall to act like he didn't hear him. It was obvious by the lack of response. Pavel was tempted to teach him a lesson. It was a good thing he ended up getting distracted by something that flew over his head. A strange object--or was it a being of some sort? He couldn't tell from the brief look. That's why he followed it as best he could. Unfortunately, he ended up losing sight of it.

Soon he returned to the streets below. He had his fill of the rooftops after all. It was time to get to know the people of the city. The rest of the day was filled with fun interactions. It wasn't until a couple days later that he caught wind of the school that was opening up. A school that taught magic sparked his curiosity; and so, he got all the information he could on the subject. He soon realized that he was just young enough to apply and thus switched his focus. If he wasn't he would have just gotten himself some fake papers or whatever was needed. People always thought he looked younger than he was anyway.

Now it was time for him to leave and head to where the school was located. A big smile sat on his face as he started off toward his destination.
