[PRP] Lowkey Judge (Resa, K'ai, dragons)

What are you wearing? I told you to change. Mine, you can't be seen in public like that. You are my rider. You represent us when you go out! You know you look awful in that color. It clashes. Did you at least use the scented oils I suggested? Lyraeth was watching her rider with distaste, her eyes whirling a muted, but content green. Resa had chosen a green tunic with a lighter colored belt, that Lyraeth insisted was too close to yellow to be worn. They nearly matched. That was so five turns ago. It couldn't happen.

"I think it looks nice."

We can't match! I can't change the color of my hide to match your whims! At least wear something that brings out your eyes. A lovely shade of blue, perhaps, or maybe keep the green with a darker belt.

"I look fine. Come on."

The weather was somewhat nice, and by somewhat nice it was at least sunny and not too cold that he had to bundle up in furs. Personally he had his way the less the clothes the better but not everyone felt that for sure so he wore the usually green and blues that suited his skin and eyes. Lireth was quiet as always studying K’ai with his usually green amused eyes.

“So what do you say, should we work on our duties or go find something better to do for a little bit as a way to enjoy the lovely weather and procrastination.” There was a wide grin on his face as he glanced at the familiar brown.

We should do our work first…... but… The dragon trailed off, admitting to not doing what they were suppose would mean he was a part of it and couldn’t deny it later when in trouble.

The weather was nice enough to head towards the beach, despite Lyraeth's protests. It wasn't warm enough to laze on warm sands, but maybe it was nice enough to swim. What if someone saw them? What if Z'haq saw them?

"You know by now that he doesn't care what I wear," Resa shook her head and grinned. He wouldn't care if she wore nothing, she was sure. "Didn't you say you wanted to swim? I could oil you afterward." When all else failed, bribing the gold with a good oiling was the best option.

You should still want to look your best, Lyraeth insisted.

"Maybe you'll find someone to swim with," her rider suggested, effectively changing the subject. Lyraeth loved company.

The beach was K’ai’s second favorite spot, the first he hadn't quite decided on yet but it definitely involved flying. Beside spending half enjoying the warming sands under toes seemed like a perfect idea and maybe he could convince Lireth to enjoy himself.

Reaching the sands he slipped of his boots, dug his toes into the sand as Lireth lurked around the foliage as if avoiding getting into the sun.

“Come on it'll be fun.”

Once they arrived on the beach, Lyraeth had stretched and headed for the water. It might not have been warm enough for a good bask, but the water was nice. She looked back at her rider.

Are you coming in? She asked.

Not today. She’d enjoy the sun, though. Resa sat on a piece of drift wood, removing her boots and rolling up her trousers. Maybe she’d wade.

K'ai had opted to walking along the sand, feet trailing in the waves that ebbed in and out as foam clung desperately to the shore. A breeze rolled in as Lireth was doing his best to avoid the water almost entirely.

"What no swimming? Don't tell me you're still afraid of being in the sea?" K'ai grinned up at him as the dragon gave a snort.

No.. just... its dirty. A simple excuse of course.

It didn't take long for the figures of another dragon and rider relaxing on the beach to show up in K'ai's sight.

"HEY!"

Lyraeth looked up first, at the call. She snorted at her rider in amusement. Resa has removed her boots, and rather than wander to the water, had pulled out a book! If you’d pay attention, Mine, you’d hear better. She admonished, gently. She pointedly looked towards K’ai.

Resa looked. She set her book down on the driftwood she was perched on. “Oh! Hello,” she greeted him, standing. She gave him a smile. “It’s a lovely day, isn’t it? Lyraeth wanted to swim.”

“It is, a perfect day to be out.” K’ai gave a wide grin, the light of the waves dancing along his freckled dusted cheeks and nose. Lireth trailed behind still avoiding the water as he kept any thoughts of their new guest to himself while his rider continued to grin.

“If you can’t tell Lireth here is avoiding the water despite how many times I try to tell him the water is quite nice and he should really take a dip.” He picked out his own seat on some driftwood across from Resa.

“Oh, Lireth,” Resa shook her head and smiled. Shebdidnt think she’d be able to convince him either, if his rider couldn’t. “Maybe Lyraeth will ask him to swim.”

You could swim with me, Lyraeth immediately invited, heading towards the water. It’s quite nice. I like to sun after I swim, and the sand is a perfect place to dry. She turned slightly to study him. Your hide looks brighter in the sunlight, She said. Mine, too.
