Ciel looked down nervously at her hand as Nick went off to retrieve Carlee for her. She starred at the little gold band shaped like the infinity symbol that resided on her middle finger, It appeared as just another ring but she knew in reality it was her magical signet ring a symbol of her knighthood.
Even knowing that Carlee was like her did not make her less nervous to talk about it. It was one thing to reveal her identity to a relative stranger, she wasn't nervous about that. But telling someone who had been her friend for months and was now her girlfriend, that was different. The butterflies in her stomach reminded her of when she told her grandparents about her powers.
When Carlee entered the room Ciel stood up quickly. "Hey Carlee. I...can we talk for a bit." She said not really knowing how to start the conversation. How do you just say 'hey so I'm actually the descendant of an ancient alien knight and I know you are the reincarnation of an alien solider.'

Carlee had come out of the kitchen with a huge smile on her face, throwing herself at Ciel with a laugh, rubbing her face against the other teen’s cheek. “Well of course we can talk, you know I love talking to you.”
She felt as though she was walking on clouds. Everything had been so utterly perfect with dinner…and her parents had seemed to like Ciel a lot, and even though Arias was a little awkward looking, he still seemed happy for her. Everything was great.
Gently, Carlee brushed her lips against Ciel’s cheek, laughing. “Tonight was so wonderful, wasn’t it? I just…I hope all of the holidays are like this for the rest of forever, you know?”
She pulled away slightly, looking into her girlfriends amethyst eyes, still unable to keep from smiling. “So…what’s up, Ciel? Is everything okay?”

Ciel smiled Carlee bounced up to her delivering a kiss to her cheek. "It was beautiful, your parents are great. I hope I didn't mess up my sign language to bad."
She took Carlee's hands in her own. She stared into her girlfriend's beautiful eyes. "Carlee I...When we first meet I didn't fully introduce myself. You deserve to know the full truth about me."
"I am a transcended knight of the Cosmos, my name is Hyperborea." She admitted.

“No! You did sooooo good, Ciel!” Carlee laughed and blinked when the older girl took her hands, flushing slightly. This had to be pretty big news…
A slight prickle of fear ran through the girl when Ciel mentioned that she hadn’t introduced herself properly…was she in the Negaverse? Was this about to get awkward? What was going to come out of her girlfriend’s mouth…and with a pang of fear, Carlee wondered if dinner was about to come out of her own mouth.
She was about to shake her head, about to insist that Ciel just keep her mouth shut…that it didn’t matter who else she was…or what she was about to say…that she didn’t want to hear it…
And then the news was out. Just like that.
Her girlfriend was a Knight.
Just like Arias.
For a moment, Carlee was breathless, staring at Ciel with eyes the size of dinner plates. “You…you’re a knight?” The question ended on what was almost a squeal and she squeezed the hands holding hers. “Are you really??”
It was almost too good to be true and Carlee’s eyes sparkled. “I…I’m a senshi…does that mean…do you wanna patrol together...?” It would be so much fun. And now that she didn’t have to keep her secret…
Carlee could have burst into tears right then. Happy tears, but still tears.

It was so relieving to hear her be excited and not angry or anything. She let go of her her hands to instead wrap her girlfriend in a warm hug. "I would show you right now but I'm kind of a youma magnet. I don't want to spend Christmas fighting monsters." She said with a laugh.
"Of course I want to patrol together." She said as she delivered a peck to Carlee's lips.
"But more than that I want to take you to Hyperborea. Its such a beautiful city you'll love it and I want you to meet my companion Cerynitis. And I want to see your world if you'll take me." She said lovingly.

The soft arms around her and the feeling of Ciel’s lips on hers made Carlee’s face turn even redder and a stupid giggle to make its way out of her chest.
Things like this. Little things that made her heart pound were just…
They were just the best things in the world. “Well don’t show me now, silly! It’s horrible to power up near your home! Everyone knows that!” She rested her face in the crook of Ciel’s neck and let her eyes close.
Her girlfriend was a knight, and wanted to take her up to see her…her…city? That was so cool. She hadn’t ever been to a Knight’s world before…Arias hadn’t ever taken her to his, or Nick so…this was going to be fun. “Cerynitis? Is that a friend of yours? Another knight?” A little pang of jealousy flitted through the teen and her arms wrapped tightly around Ciel, squeezing her. If she had a Knight that she hung out with…who was to say that they wouldn’t end up together? She didn’t want competition…she was only good at competition when it involved dancing…and even then she always had a pang of jealousy when she lost…and a pang of remorse when others lost and were upset by it.
Sighing she buried her face deeper and kissed Ciel’s neck lightly. “I’m so glad you’re my girlfriend. I am just so happy with you, Ciel.”

She felt a pang of regret in her heart, 'everyone knows that', she wasn't mad or upset at the comment. Carlee didn't know but it was a bitter reminder of her greatest failure. She wondered just how long it would be until she had to have that conversation with Carlee. It wasn't that she wanted to keep it a secret it was just a painful topic to talk about. She didn't let it show on her face though She held her girlfriend tight she would protect her she wouldn't let the Negaverse touch her.
"Huh? Oh no." She said with a laugh over the confusion, she supposed Carlee might not know that many knights. "Cerynitis is my summons. She's a magical deer that has always aided the knights of Hyperborea. I do consider her a close friend friend but like how a dog is a best friend." She said waving off the notion.
She felt a spark go down her spine when Carlee kissed her neck. Her olive skin turned red. "You make me the happiest knight throughout all the stars." She said with giggle.
"What about you what's your home world like?" She murmured her question into Carlee's hair.

Summons? She would have to ask Arias…and Nick if either of them had a summons…because that sounded kind of neat. Her lips continued moving softly against the older teen’s neck and Carlee felt quite comfortable. Ciel’s skin tasted almost sweet, and when she finally pulled away, it was with a great reluctance.
“W…well.” The brunette ran a hand through her hair and cleared her throat, moving and plopping down on the couch, unable to meet Ciel’s eyes.
“It’s cold. There are a bunch of greenhouses…and I planted a rock once. And fought off some…black stuff that was trying to take the plant. I don’t know. I haven’t really explored much other than my one greenhouse, but…that’s because it’s just really cold and all of the others are broken and mangled. I don’t know what happened up there, but it looks like things just…got destroyed a lot. Or messed up to the point where the planet couldn’t grow anything anymore. I don’t know.”
She hadn’t spent much time up there…but she had liked the few times she had. It was interesting, and it felt so very safe.
Suddenly, Carlee wanted to bring Ciel up there. Wanted very much to bring her up there…it would be so nice…just the two of them.
Quickly, the teenager looked towards the hands in her lip, twiddling her thumbs and trying to get rid of her red face by sheer force of will alone.

"Black stuff? Did it take your shape? I think I've encounter something like that before. I helped another senshi Sailor Ida deal with that thing on her planet. Were you ok?" She said a bit worried both for her girlfriend specifically and for order as a whole was that blight spreading to other worlds? How many were infected.
She cleared her throat. "I guess that's silly to ask when your here just fine." She said blushing.
"Even if its broken now, we'll rebuild it, together." She promised.
"And I'll keep you warm up there." She said going red as tomato once she said it. Cosmos protect her, did she really say that.

“Did it…what?”
Carlee blinked, though her face brightened after a moment. “You know Ida? She’s like, my best senshi friend! She’s the best ever! She was up there and helped me get rid of it…she’s so cool.”
Her eyes sparkled as she spoke of Ida, and it was clear that she thought very highly of the senshi.
Clearing her throat quickly, Carlee tucked some hair behind her ear, a little sheepishly. It seemed that Ciel was thinking of far more practical things than she was…sure rebuilding…rebuilding whatever would be nice…but Carlee had been just thinking of some nice alone time with her girlfriend and then.
She looked up quickly and grinned, nodding. So maybe the two were on the same page after all. “Well, I suppose that sounds…utterly lovely, Ciel. Not as lovely as you but utterly lovely all the same.”
At this moment, Carlee Hunter was the luckiest girl in the entire world.

"Ida is great, I've known her since I was a page. I'm glad she was there for you." Though she felt a pang of jealousy she wanted to be there for Carlee not let some other powered.
She grinned while she was blushing "Mon amour. You are so beautiful." She said as she leaned in to deliver a soft kiss to Carlee's lips.

Carlee’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “You know Ida!” If she really did know Ida, not that Carlee doubted her in the slightest, then she really must be special…and…and that only made Carlee’s feelings stronger for the girl in front of her, though all of her thoughts seemed to float out of the window when soft lips pressed against hers again, and suddenly she was floating, floating away and…she wasn’t sure that she ever wanted to come back down to earth.
Seriously, she was the luckiest girl on the whole…no, she was the luckiest girl in the whole universe to have such a wonderful girlfriend.
Things could not get any better than this, ever. It was just a fact.
