At some point in line you had a dream. This dream is one all people have at some point in their lives, young and old. It may have even occurred before you were "born" in the sense of flesh and blood. In this dream you awaken in a colorless world, one filled with only only silence.
You have no clue who you are. No thoughts come to you.
This place feels natural to you, but it also feels alien as though there is something wrong with the place, but its not is silence nor its lack of color. It is not known to you, but it is home to you in some strange way.
As you stand in this isolated clearing, surrounded by blackened mountains and trees is a single solitary tree, surrounded by faint white grass. Near this tree is a single figure who stands inert looking only at the tree. It is a beautiful scene, one that pulls you in and beckons you to what closer to it.
The closer you get, the heavier you feel. You start to see that near the tree is water which lies motionless. It perfectly reflects the scene before you in its eternal splendor. Step by step you draw closer and closer until you see multiple statues that seemed to appear out of nowhere as if fading in from the ether.
They are covered in strange light and metal but sit solid on stands with words upon them. You look to the palm of your hand which begins to burn, and a mark starts to appear upon your palm...a mark that only you seem to understand.
The statues react to this mark, lighting up with brilliant shine as the words on their stands embolden and soon you understand....that they are there to offer you a gift, but you may only accept one....at least for now.
