Hyperborea was thinking about what had been discussed at the meeting on Olympus. All of the weirdness during Halloween and Christmas, it was certainly a mystery but it was not the only mystery. She still had no idea what had dragged her into Mirror Space a few months a ago, or what had caused that one wraith to go on a rampage earlier in the year.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she felt the appearance of an aura of someone who might be able to answer. Prince Remarque, Hyperborea decided now was as good a time as any to go try and grill the dark mirror royal for answers.
She summoned cerynitis and climbed onto her back urging her forward toward the source of the aura. As she came upon the colorfully dressed blond she slid off of the deer's back dispelling her. "Salut Remarque. Can I borrow you for a moment." she said as she approach the older senshi.

Remarque very rarely entered Destiny City as a Prince; tonight was an oversight, and very shortly after he’d stepped through the mirror after a trip to Mirrorspace, he powered down to his Eternal form. He was in the process of brushing out his uniform and rolling his shoulders when he felt another energy signature nearing. He didn’t make any effort to move from where he stood; they were headed straight towards him and that usually meant that they wanted something.
Sometimes a conversation, sometimes a fight. He’d welcome both, though his conscience nagged in the back of his head, sounding strangely like Raven, reminding him that he shouldn’t want a fight.
By the time Hyperborea arrived, his hands were already planted on his hips and he was looking in her direction as he waited for her to arrive.
The Summons was an interesting addition; he watched it with mild interest. It disappeared too quickly for his taste, but it meant he could give Hyperborea his full attention.
“A moment, or more. I’ve finished my errands for the night so I can make a bit of time for you. Fancy ride you’ve got there. Does it do anything more than make for a quick ride?” he prompted, unable to throw in a question of his own. He didn’t have much experience with Knight’s summons, and he was a creature of perpetual curiosity—even if he liked to pretend like he already knew everything.Aurelius0815 I am sorry this took so long!

Hyperborea laughed "Her name is Cerynitis, and I suppose you could say that she only is a quick ride, but she is lightning quick and can run over any surface, including walls. So I like to think it is a little bit more than that." She explained answering his question.
"I actually had a few questions of my own, I was hoping since you're a prince of the Dark Mirror." She said nodding to the blond eternal.
"So a few months ago I, along with many others, were sucked into a mirror and trapped in Mirror Space. There was a collapsing walkway that eventually lead to a way out but was full of twists and turn. Wraiths even attacked. It wasn't just order either civilians and Negaverse agents were pulled in." She explained.
"Do you know anything about that? Did something happen in Mirror Space?"

Remarque paused. He seemed thoughtful for a moment and then asked, “How do you know it was Mirrorspace?”
Truthfully, a while back there were strange things going on, but he didn’t want to be too blunt about it. Neither did he want to take responsibility for it, nor did he want there to be any evidence that he didn’t know what had truly gone on. He knew enough, about the Queen, at least. And he knew that the rest of his Court likely wouldn’t be very good at keeping that information under wraps from everyone else, so he wasn’t so particularly concerned with secrets.
Still, he wasn’t about to be an open book without getting as much information as he could in exchange.
“The only Mirrorspace I’ve ever walked into has been white walls, in a Common Room just outside the throne. I can’t say that I’ve ever found myself sucked into a collapsing walkway. If a Dark Mirror Senshi wasn’t there, how did you find your way out?”

She shook her head and chuckled at his question. "Well I know it isn't concrete but it it was dimension accessed by a mirror and there were wraiths. If there is another place like that feel free to correct me but I was pretty sure it Mirrorspace." She explained.
"We eventually found a mirror that lead back to the Destiny City." She explained telling the full story of the gauntlet she and everyone else had been put through.
"And thats not the only weird thing Dark Mirror related to happen recently. Earlier this year there was a rampaging Wraith in the park, several Dark Mirror senshi were there, including Princess Leto, but none of them could control it. It was able to poison the minds of white moon and dark mirror fighters and turn them mad." She explained.
"Please Remarque if you know something, I'm asking as friend please tell me. I know you have said your chaos is not destructive like the Negaverses' and I believe you but still it seems like something dangerous is going on."

Remarque listened patiently, and while he knew there were points in her storytelling where he could have interjected to spread more information, he refrained. For example, he knew that there wasn’t only one rampaging wraith, but two. Only, he and another group had been with the second. He didn’t mention the following encounter with the Dark Mirrors recovering Mintaka, but he grumbled when she plead for answers.
“There’s only so much I can say,” he said, his eyes finding hers. “It would be wise to expect danger in every corner of the universe. Just because our Court doesn’t seek to destroy, like the Negaverse, doesn’t mean there aren’t threats we have to watch out for. But it’s no different than up there,” he gestured towards the sky.
“Asteroids, meteors, monsters. There are threats from everywhere. Even in Destiny City, there are dangers that arise without the influence of Chaos. I cannot tell you all of Mirrorspace’s secrets because I do not yet have them. But I can assure you that from what I can tell, there is no immediate threat from it. It is the same as it usually is. Simply an empty hallway by which we can keep our affairs in order and have a place of rest. Tell me, though,” he crossed his arms over his chest. “If there is something wrong in Mirrorspace, who should be accountable?”

Hyperborea shook her head. "I don't want to 'hold anyone accountable' unless there is a specific person causing problems. Everybody should be held accountable for what they personally do nothing more." She explained calmly.
"And you are right there are threats in outer space. We watch for them and deal with them. And while yes there are dangers that do not come from chaos the most dangerous threats are all from chaos. Now normally its the Negaverse but still its worrying." She said, her amethyst eyes meeting with his azure eyes.
"Remarque I respect you alot and I don't think your court and the white moon need to be adversaries but it is still worrying to know so little. The wraith doesn't worry me that much, a rouge monster is one thing but people getting pulled through the mirror is another. It was dangerous Remarque, people got hurt innocent civilians. There were children there, they were all scared, terrified. Who knows what could have happened if that exit hasn't been found." She explained.
"If you are telling me nothing has happened in mirror space then fine I'll believe you but I would hope you could trust me enough to tell me something does ever change. I would help where ever I can." She finished.

Remarque regarded Hyperborea with contemplative eyes; his expression didn’t change and he didn’t seem alarmed in the least. He was a skilled liar, so much so that it was almost undetectable to tell when he strayed from the truth. He had a penchant for answering both honestly and dishonestly, and saying only what he needed to get by.
“I don’t consider myself your adversary in any way. But I also know the harm of spreading misinformation, and I would hate to give you the wrong impression by giving you a fraction of a story. So I’ll tell you what I can, under the condition that you use the information responsibly. I don’t want it being spread around. There are fewer Knights that would give us the benefit of the doubt than you realize, and any weakness they find they project on all of the Court, regardless of where the fault was to be had.”
He pursed his lips as if in thought, glanced up at the sky, and tapped his toe for a few seconds as he summoned what information he could on the matter. “Things have happened in Mirrorspace. An isolated incident, it’s been handled. But I don’t have enough information to make any sort of full report. You, the civilians. You weren’t the only ones to get stuck in there.”
He reached up to scratch at his chin, debating how much he wanted to say. “A good portion of the Court got trapped in a far corner of it, it took some time to work our way out. Everyone made it out alive, but we didn’t have any control over Mirrorspace while we were trapped. So I’m betting you spent your time in Mirrorspace at the same I did. I’m not unsympathetic to everyone else, trust me. I don’t want civilians in there. Children, especially. They have no place in Mirrorspace. Even the powered ones. So trust me when I say that I would prefer people stay out of Mirrorspace. I don’t want them going through the mirror unless it’s with someone who knows what they’re doing.”

Hyperborea breathed out a sigh of relief glad the prince had finally told her what happened. "Merci Remarque and I promise anything you tell me in confidence stays between you and me. You have my word on my knighthood." She assured the man.
She thought on what he said. "I wonder if there is an element of Mirror space not controlled or aligned with your court, that would explain why that wraith wouldn't obey princess Leto and attacked Dark Mirror senshi." She mused to herself.
"Are certain it is all taken care of, you don't know all of mirror space right. There could be pockets of this other faction, assuming that is what it is, what if they take control again. How did they even do that or am I completely off track and it was something else. Alot of mirror space confuses me, what is it, a created space or is it natural. Can it be controlled, you said that you once had to stop a bunch of wraiths and that was how you became a royal so I assume it bows at least little to a certain amount to power." She continued her musing speaking as much to herself as to Remarque.
"Sorry Remarque just thinking out loud but if you say it's been handled then I trust you. Just remember if things do go bad, I know there have been hurt on both sides, but there are alot of new knights and senshi who have no negative feelings towards your court. People who want to extend an olive branch rather than a sword."

"I said this situation had been handled," Remarque said patiently. "There are no issues currently stemming from Mirrorspace, and nothing problematic I can expect in the foreseeable future. But, the same as anything else in this world, the future is uncertain."
He shifted positions; it wasn’t easy for him to admit that there were things he either did not know or did not have control over, but Mirrorspace was a great mystery. He would never forgive Ares for bringing them into all of this and leaving without explaining anything she may have known. Though, even now Remarque suspected she might have entered into everything blindly. Their whole existence in this Court had been unguided; they operated with no given reference and had to discover everything for themselves.
It was frustrating, to know that they had so many disadvantages. They were small, and the newer of the factions to emerge, and unlike the other groups that seemed to have some resource to tap into, they had nothing.
It could have easily meant that they still had worlds to discover, trapped in Mirrorspace, but he was not one for imagining fantasies. He would deal with new things as they came, and prepare as best he could while waiting.
"I would caution against speculation, though. The Mirror may still hide many things, for better or worse. All we can do is prepare for trouble and hope it doesn't find us. But," he shrugged, and nodded in her direction, "We'll accept the help of anyone willing to offer it. We’re all in this together anyway, aren't we? At least, I doubt either of us want to see the world burn. I’d be happy knowing I did what I could just to keep things together for as long as anyone can manage. Whether the threat is coming from Mirrorspace or anywhere else, we’ll play our part. I’m always keeping an eye on it, anyway. We’ll figure it out on day. One thing at a time," he said; he didn't sound full of himself, just confident. He’d set this goal for himself; he wasn't going to back down until he got his answers.
