The Staff
A wolf in sheep's clothing, all of the staff are aware of the resort's dangerous secrets. It is their job to provide service to the residents of the estate, sometimes against the residents' will, but for the good of their recovery.
Staff are known on a nickname basis by permanent residents. All of the nicknames come from oldies music which plays during the residents' stay on an infinite loop throughout the day.

The New Residents
New residents are typically wealthy and privileged individuals seeking refuge from the stress of their lives at an advertised expensive resort to self-care. They temporarily live in the North and East wings. Although forbidden to go to the west wing due to renovations-new residents are warmly welcomed to all amenities including twenty-four hour service from the staff.

Permanent Residents
These residents were once new arrivals just like yourself, bright eyed men and women enjoying the luxuries of the resort. They were eventually moved by medical staff to the west wing, all diagnosed with mental illness, and forbidden to leave the estate. Permanent residents are subject to intensive care by medical staff-often against their will-as apart of the road to self-recovery.
