 Deep breath. He could do this. He hung out with plenty of his friends before, he just had never gone over to someone's house. It was a bit daunting. He knew Arinas's family listened to his parents band so.... would him showing up be a big thing? Would they recognize him. No. No this wasn't the way to think about this. It was an awesome opportunity to experience youth. After all here he was getting to go over to a friend's. It would be fun. Arinas talked about how lively his family was. Plus he would get to try baking. Bring home chocolate chip cookies or what ever Arinas decided to make this time. Plus it was a way to scope things out. Maybe if everything went well seraph could introduce Arinas to the rest of the group. Now all he needed was the hybrid in question to show up.

Seraph was a worry wart. You were late more than ten minutes and his mind jumped to horrid conclusions or something. So of course Arinas got detained and was running fifteen minutes late. It was such an important day too as he had finally convinced his friend to come over to the experience that was his house. It was even the perfect day as well since a chunk of the household was out doing other things. However it had gotten out that Arinas was really good at helping others fix their coking mistakes and everyone it seemed in class flocked to him. He being the kind hearted soul he was... couldn't say no. So now he was late and probably had a stressed friend. When he finally got to the stop before the portal. He instantly spotted seraph sitting there twiddling their thumbs. Yep stressed friend. " hiii Seraph. I'm here. Ready to go?" Arinas said through heavy breaths.

Seraph's expression grew concerned when his friend was late. They tried not to fall into imagining horrible thingsbefalling them, such as family disaster or another failed elevator, but it was a failure in that seraph knew they could be dramatic at times. Well most of the time. They just blamed it mostly on their imagination. So it was with a relieved sigh, he acknowledged his friend showing up. They didn't look distressed so it was probably a late class, or getting mobbed.
" it's okay the universe slows down even the best of people at times. Are we ready?" He replied trying to keep cheerful. Would everyone be okay with him? What would their house be like. Arinas said it was big, and had a lot of secret passage ways and stuff.

Hmm surprisingly that went better than Arinas thought, then again they had been working on Seraoh jumping too the wrong conclusion. With a nod Arinas started leading Seraph to the portal they needed to take. He should probably walk them in through a secret passageway. It wouldn't do to thrust seraph on all his family at once. Sure he believed Seraph could handle it, the hybrid thrived with attention but still it would probably be too much for him.
The rest of the trip was rather silent as they stepped onto the area they needed. It was a shortest walk to his house.
" well this is my house. Come on, we can go through the side yard. There is a secret passage way there" Arinas pointed out as they got to the house.

Seraph wasn't sure what they were expecting when they finally agreed to go to Arinas's house for the evening. He knew they must have a decent side house if after all there where three adults and eight some times nine kids in the house. So the small mansion with a sizable Garden and yard surprised him. Arinas never made it seem like they came from a lot of money, then again seraph was in no position to throw stones?
" this is your house? It's very lovely" Seraph threw in the last part as part of a save. However his attention was caught at the thought of secret passage ways. " oh that's so cool how many are there?"

Arinas had to laugh, it was almost a common reaction when coming to the house, although Arinas hadn't invited many people over. Actually other than Jaden, seraph was the only other one. However he was expecting the sudden twinkle in Seraph's eye when Arinas mentioned the secret passage ways. After all Seraph's main group of friends could be troublemakers at times.
" yes secret passage ways. I don't think I have ever stopped to count them, although my father said something about at least thirteen. I only know of about 8 of those. We can tour some of them later. Right now I promised you an afternoon lunch. This secret passage way sneaks us into the kitchen." Arinas explained.

Seraph's eyes continued to sparkle when Arinas made food. The hybrid had a knack for cooking. Well pastries at least. They had a knack for normal cooking as well, however Arinas was litch so when they cooked normal dishes it turned out mostly spicer than Seraph liked.
Seraph tried to recall the conversation about lunch. Supposedly it was made by Alrai, who was Arinas's dad.
Arinas said it was the older hybrid who had to cook, so Seraph knew it would be absolutely tasty and he could totally brag. Well to Giotto, since none of his other friends knew Arinas. It was funny how the universe worked some ways.
" well I am sure it'll be tasty." Seraph commented back. " and I will be sure to enjoy what ever it is"

The two walked in silence and mostly were able to sneak into the house. Of course Arinas should have expected they would be caught but out of all of the housemates Fiore was probably the best one. She waved half heartedly and stepped next to them as they walked through the passage way.
" Hey Fiore this is my friend Seraph. Seraph my friend and sorta sister Fiore" he introduced.
" hey Seraph, pleasure to meet you. I will interrogate you later after I finish this book" she replied before delving back into said book.
Arinas shrugged a bit but non the less continued leading the way to the kitchen. Only when they got there he wasn't expecting the scene he saw with Morginn and Alrai.
"You know on second thought let me take you on that tour now." Arinas stated grabbing seraph's hand bolting back down the passage way. Morginn and Alrai kissing, that was it. He was in the twlight zone.

Let see sorta sister would be they where Araceae's or Morginn's child but not Alrai which would be needed for the relationship. Some times Arinas's family made no sense. However Arinas always said that they all loved each other like a family and if they were happy that was all that was needed.
Seraph gave introductions and pleasantries back although he was a bit worried at the phrase interrogate. Did Arinas skip out on something Serah should have been prepared for? It wasn't like they were dating or would ever date.
Then things got weirder when he slammed into Fiore and Arinas's back. Peering around them into the kitchen he saw two of the adults. The shorter one was kissing the taller one's hand. From the reaction of two purple hybrids in front of him it wasn't normal.
" you know it wasn't really that bad. It was kind of cute" seraph pointed out as he was suddenly pushed out into a library.

" you don't understand Seraph, it's not the fact they are apparently acting weird. It's Fiore. Fiore is a plot evil mastermind and she will swoop us in to trying to get them together. Romance should happen normally." Arinas protested.
" well some times it needs a little push" Seraph countered. Arinas just gave him a look and decided the library wasn't safe. Had to keep Seraph away from Fiore. He could just see the devistation that would cause. He knew though that Fiore was likely to rope him and possibly the rest of the kids in but nope, Seraph was going to have a normal visit. Well as normal as he could get it.
" just trust me. You are not getting kidnapped by Fiore. Not today" Arinas stated with a laugh. Hide and seek with his younger sibling would be an awesome way to show Seraph the house.
" Aww you aren't any fun Arinas. Fine I'll give you twenty, go hide your friend" Fiore sing songed from the entry way. Well the game was on.
