Arinas had already succumbed to sitting on the floor. When his companion sighed, the hybrid rather agreed with him. At this rate he was never going to be able to go on a trip by himself again. You see it had started out a normal day. Alrai had won backstage tickets to a band he liked a few weeks ago but finals kind of got in the way and he had been forced to cancel. While they were more his father's era, Arinas still liked the band and had gotten permission to go with Araceae.

Meeting the band had been amazing, and hearing their stories on how they had gotten together and that they went to his school had been rather awesome. Unfortunately after the meet was when everything started going bad. Araceae had to visit the restroom and had told him to wait for her in the lobby. Only the elevator had broken down before he got to said lobby.

" the concert was absolutely amazing." Arinas said after he had recovered from the shock. He had been starting to believe that seraph was going to spend their whole captivity silent. Then again Silence wasn't seraph's thing for the most part. Sure from what Arinas knew of him, he could have silent moments and he knew when to be silent to fit the mood but Seraph had always seemed to enjoy life. He wanted to have fun.

" even though we got stuck in here, I am glad I came." Arinas admitted, shifting off one of his wings. He could tell the answer pleased the other hybrid. Ah that was the main singers; Meris and Adora were seraph's parents.

“I think that’s a balance everyone wants to find. Well most everyone. A career is something that you’ll have for a while. It just makes sense to find something you enjoy while doing it” Arinas agreed. It was partially why he wanted to go into baking. Still he knew that a lot of people weren’t that lucky. They often had to settle.
“Ah… my parents?” Arinas trailed off not quite expecting Seraph to shift the attention over to his side. “Well My dad hasn’t quite figured out what he wants to do yet. He’ll probably end up a magical researcher or something to that effect. He really likes studying magic. It’s why he’s been in school so long. My other parent I don’t really see so I can’t brag about him. I might be getting a step dad soon and he makes really cute clothes. I’m wearing clothing he designed currently.”

" well my Small horde of siblings keep me from truely being alone but yeah. Some times my dad doesn't get back until after I am asleep and then he leaves really early before I wake up. Those weeks I miss him. However I think dad isn't ready to be my ghost."

When seraph mentioned his only loneliness Arinas felt like he could have smacked himself. Of course Seraph would have some regrets. Being famous, it meant they were in tour a lot right? Sure the songs were written here and they spent a good chunk here but those months on end when you knew your parent was on the other side of the world practically.

" if your friends are drifting off then... then when you get lonely you can come over to my house." Arinas suddenly blurted out stopping what ever seraph was going to say. The other hybrid blinked as Arinas had also stood up. Feeling wanted and having a group of people to be yourself with was important to Arinas. It was something his family stressed. Every member that was added knew they had people for lack of a better word.

Arinas had seen Meris pick Seraph up before. He had run across the two at festivals, so he knew it wasn't that the demon hybrid had a bad family. It was just time and work and maybe circumstances.
"okay yeah" was seraph's response.

However what ever Arinas was going to say was cut off as the elevator doors open and Meris rushed in to hug his son. Arinas smiled and then was surprised as he was enveloped in a hug by ... his dad? Oh Araceaemust have called. Arinas' grin grew and he looked over at seraph. The two sharing a knowing look.
