There aren't many, I'm very lenient, but please follow these simple rules.
1) Keep it PG-13, you can toe the line but anything blatantly rated R is a definite no-no
What isn't constituted as PG-13
Over swearing (sprinkling curse words is fine, but nothing over the top.)
Lemons (sex scenes) Please use fade outs or write them vaguely
Too much gore (I like my blood and guts but lets not be grotesque)
2) Warn people before any stories, fanfictions, poems, etc if there will be anything someone could find offense. Such as
Foul language
Blood/Gore
Horror (some people aren't huge fans of the boogie man)
3) Be respectful of each other. We are all here because we love writing. Even if you don't believe you're very good, post it anyway. Odds are you're better than you think.
No rudeness
Helpful but not cruel critiques
4) Try not to use text talk (unless you are writing a text in the story) it throws things off and it doesn't look professional. I'm not asking for perfect grammar, but spell things out. Do not talk lik dis. I find it really annoying, we have an entire keyboard, it doesn't take long to write it out.
5)Do not swipe anyone's ideas or stories. Unless they allow it. That is an asshat move (I swore oh dear). People work hard on their stuff, if I find out you have taken something (or someone reports it) I will look into it. If it turns out you have in my guild, you are gone.
6) And I cannot stress this one enough. Be nice, there is enough hate in the world without you adding to it.
Read and comment, it is required of everyone.
These aren't hard rules, you get two strikes. First is a warning, second you are gone. I will not have mean and insensitive people in this guild.
