Ember, a young Lunar Fury, was inside of her egg. She was about to hatch any day now. No one had seen a Lunar Fury for almost 100 years now. It's been said throughout Skylands, that a Lunar Fury has the power to control the moon's rays, as well as destroy an enemy by turning those moon rays into an attack. Of course if was only a myth that had no one had been able to prove. Those that had were either in hiding, or had never gotten the chance to tell anyone. Lunar Fury Dragons are the rarest of all Dragons in Skylands. They're known for their sheer ferocity, and their loyalty towards their species as well as any one else they see as their friend.
As Ember was about to hatch, having been found a few days ago in an old Ruin by an excavation team, the museum was under high alert. They had gotten a tip that the Doomraiders might try to steal the 'large diamond' they found, for the Golden queen from Master Eon, who sent Spyro and his team to make sure that the large, powerful 'gemstone' was kept safe.
