Yuki Isera (Ice-Era) Wolfe (Experiment #7)Yuki quickly changed and put the shirt back on her body. She had her ears back as she came out of her hiding spot. She was a bit embarrassed. "Sorry about that......You must understand though....Those people who are looking for me.....they did awful things to me....I was once human........Now I look like this...I was only a child when it started......" She said as her ears went against her head in sadness. "I didn't know my parents at all.....I had no family or comfort....except there was another child....but he was......." SHe cut herself off thinking of what might have become of her only friend and comfort to the pain she endured as a child. Tears started to go down her face. As much as she didn't want to.....she couldn't help but cry.

~Only the sound of your life's song should be heard~  Justin nods, understanding that she didn't want to be caught again by such a despicable group of people. Who in their right minds would ever consider doing such appalling experiments on just a little girl? He was stunned as she actually began to cry, quickly walking over to her. He gently lifted her muzzle and smile softly at her. "Don't worry, you're safe here with me. And in time, we'll track down your friend and rescue them too." He gently took a nearby rag and began to wipe the tears, smiling into her eyes the entire time.

Yuki Isera (Ice-Era) Wolfe (Experiment #7)Yuki hugged Justin and said "Thank you. Thank you so much. I don't know how I could possibly repay you." She smiled at him, blushing as he used the rag to wipe her tears, all the while smiling at her. SHe felt good knowing someone finally cared enough about her to want her to be happy.
A few days went by, and Yuki was adjusting to life with Justin. She was pretending to be his new pet, and everyone fell for it. There were a few times where their little secret was almost discovered, but they managed an excuse every time. Though over the passed few days, Yuki had developed quite the little crush on Justin. Not just because he was sweet and nice to her, but because he cared about her and wanted her to be herself. Currently they were sharing a bed, as Yuki felt bad about him sleeping on the floor. She insisted that he sleep in his bed with her if he felt comfortable doing so. It was only temporary though, until they could get her some more things. They'd managed to get her some clothing that actually fit her, and cut a hole in the pants for her tail in the ones that went over it, like the jeans and stuff like that. She was loving living with Justin, but she loved him more than anything. She had heard that Valentine's day was coming up from one of the neighbors, who had come over to visit one day. Yuki had come out of her shell a lot since Justin brought her home. Plus her injury was starting to heal and felt a lot better than when she first came to his home.

~Only the sound of your life's song should be heard~ About a month after she had arrived at his place, Justin had grown used to her presence at his place. It was only recently that she had begun to sleep in the same bed as himself. He allowed it because she had been incredibly insistent about not letting him sleep on the floor. He had talked a fellow neighbor about the upcoming holiday. He had never been much of a fan of Valentine's day simply for the fact that he was a generally lonely guy. He figured it'd be okay, he didn't have anyone but maybe spending a day with Yuki would be a nice change of pace for once.
After school on the day of Valentine's Day, Justin arrived home with a sigh. He was feeling a little down today but he just wanted to relax and watch tv today. He set his bag by the door and walked to the fridge, getting some tea from the fridge and pouring a glass. "Hey Yuki, what have you been up to today?"

Yuki Isera (Ice-Era) Wolfe (Experiment #7)Yuki smiled seeing that Justin had returned home. "Not much. I cleaned the apartment a bit. Other than that, I've been relaxing. I have to admit, it's very nice being here." She said blushing a bit underneath her fur. She knew that he could get into a great deal of trouble and could be 'dealt with' by the government. She didn't want that to happen. "How was your day?" She asked as she had been doing research on Valentine's day, but was careful on what sites she went on. She used Wikipedia the most when she was curious about something. Justin had shown her how to use the computer in Incognito Mode, so she couldn't be tracked or anything. She smiled as she had managed to make something out of the nonmelting ice she could create, just for Justin. She hoped he would like it. It wasn't anything too fancy, but she wanted him to know that she cared about him. As she sat on the couch, she could tell he was feeling a little down, and wanted to help him feel better. She then smiled as she pulled out a small box, and said "Happy Valentine's Day, Justin. I hope you like it."
