Gender: Female
Body Type & Height: Her skin is pale and soft like most elves, healthy and unblemished by scars or the signs of age. Her face is softly angled and very feminine paired with a soft nose, and full lips giving her a child-like face which betrays her wisdom and intelligence. Her body is tall, thin, and lithe; though soft in appearance, with an inner strength able to fight and strong enough to break a few bones in her enemies. Silmarie stands at an average 5’11”.
Face Claim: Charlize Theron
Hair Color & Appearance: Silmarie is graced with long pale blonde Hair light in color and formed naturally into loose curls reaching down to the back of her ankles. Usually kept in a long loose but eleborate braid due to her swift pace through the woods, and during fighting and hunting. Many compare her hair to being infused with the very light and color of the sun as its warmth of gold is fair as light on a summer's day. After the battle she died in, her hair was taken as a trophy by the orc that slayed her. Her hair is now shorter than it was, as it is still growing back.
Eye Color: She is graced with Eyes of silver sky blue that hold her years of wisdom and intellect within their spheres. Often discribed as fierce or a peircing gaze that can soften or grow more intense to her moods.

› › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › › ›
Personality: Silmarie is kind and soft, feminine even, despite her wild tomboy-ish behavior. She has the ability to communicate and understand others, being able to understand and speak both Sindarin and Quenya, taught at an early age by her mother, and also Westeron, the language of men. She speaks with authority but always softly, usually very level-headed and calm when in public, but can be emotional in private. Silmarie is affactionate to the point of embarassing her own kin and others. She is a 'hugger', prefering the more human way of embracing those with emotion rather than a traditional greeting or farewell of her kin.
Nothing about her in person could be considered overtly rude or hostile. Silmarie understands that causing pain in others reflects badly in her own soul and thus she abstains from violence unless it is needed, then there is no stopping her for it’s logically explained in her mind and thus a necessity. Of course, not everyone agrees to such a way of thinking and acting. Silmarie’s views on herself and the world are vastly different than that of other elves, the general behaviors of those that thrive in the wilds and are recluses could compare to hers. Often she would prefer to be alone than be bothered with socializing with her own kin or the affairs of others.
Aspirations: Silmarie doesn’t really have aspirations, per se. While she does want to protect Mirkwood, she isn’t striving for anything as a kind of life achievement. One could say that she aspires to be at one with nature and to preserve the beauty of it. Then again, Silmarie also desires to know more about the customs of others though her mischievous actions and behavior often smothers this curiosity. Like any mother and wife, she yearns to see her family succeed in all they do and stay healthy and happy.
Strengths: Silmarie is exceptionally good at hunting. As one would be -living for as long as she has- and using her natural gifts as a elf she can track animals, people, and even through watching and her knowledge of the environment and surroundings can guess what her prey or target will do.
Another thing Silmarie is good at is cooking, yes even with the fancy spices and additional food that the mortal men and hobbits have, despite cooking being a ellon’s usual task, she has learned to make very tasty natural food that can keep for quite a long while without going bad. While she does eat meat and kill animals for food, Silmarie also eats whatever nature gives her, thanking it before and afterwards.
Which stems from Silmarie’s other naturally developed talent, the knowledge of the flora and fauna of Mirkwood. Through trial and error, she’s discovered herbs, fungi, and certain parts of animals that effect her positively or negatively. Through this knowledge she helps the wounded animals and even plants of the woods to make sure her home is healthy and safe.
Silmarie is not shy of swords and fighting. She is quite fierce when in battle and fights with a fluid cacophony of motions, almost like a bloody dance of death. She often wears minimal armor, preferring to protect herself with the nature around her in a mix of physical and nature powers. One thing is for sure is that she is a warrior on the battlefield and not to be trifled with.
Weakness: As calm and patient as she can be Silmarie is often rash and bold, more than she should be given certain situations. This leads to situations that would be easy -if well thought out- turning into life or death battles. She could go around a ‘sleeping dragon’ but then she’d just have to deal with it later, so more often than not she deals with the problem more directly than those who would use tact and charm to their advantage. Rash decisions aren’t always a bad thing though, sometimes it’s just what the situations needs…. sometimes is the keyword. While she is not prone to rages or great levels of anger, Silmarie can get too into the moment, letting emotions run her when logic should rule instead. Don't ever threaten her loved ones, or a rage will seethe inside of her that will last for generations through the family of the offender.
Fears: Being outnumbered is always a dangerous thing and this fear haunts Silmarie day and night that at any time she could be outnumbered and hopeless for survival and victory over them. While she may lament for the fear she has of death, she’s more prone to avoiding being hurt as pain is not one of her most wanted sensations. Visions and memories of when she died still haunt her and the stab wounds will never be truly healed in her mind. She can often feel them as if they are still open and bleeding. After reuniting with her family, she couldn’t bear the thought of leaving them again to seek recovery across the sea.
KIN-SLAYING: On the topic of Kin Slaying, Silmarie despised those that kill their own kind. She will have nothing to do with one who kills elves. This also spreads to seeing or hearing about dwarves against dwarves, or men against men. Death has always been a harsh subject for her to come to terms with, even her own. The only way around this abolute loathing is if it was in self-defense and greatly grieved. This is the only instance of the Elvenqueen actually sending someone to the dungeon cells herself.

Weapons: Her main fighting style uses twin blades that she wields in a wild cyclone of slashing, Silmarie is a silent killer usually with very little suffering to her targets. There is a special pair of blades that she received from her future husband Thranduil upon their betrothal. They are of elvish make with smooth angled blades as long as a forearm with a handle that seems to fit her hands perfectly. She’s named them her Shining Fangs.
Another very important weapon is her Bow & Arrows, all hand made for her. Both her blades and one of her bows were passed down to her son Legolas after her death. Another of her bows was rewarded to Tauriel for her service to Thranduil's Realm, later destroyed in a fit of anger via Thranduil.
Her sword is made for cutting speed and used against larger opponents and during wartime.
Her Battle armors are made entirely of light but durable elven chain mail and silver leather in the shape of leaves. [x]

History: Daughter of Thalanir, a grandson of Olwe, and Nemireth Elanorien, a Sindarin noble woman. Silmarie was raised like a young elleth would expect to be raised, taught from a young age the values of Elven culture and wisdom. Her parents instilled in her strength and honor for her kin and those who were in need of protection. Silmarie grew believing in this concept deeply. If those who crossed her path was in dire need, she would help them. The only thing that could break her of this habit was her love for nature. If anyone disrespected the nature around them, she had an instant dislike of them and would refuse to help them till they made it right and changed their destructive ways. She may be beautiful, but even at a young age, she was trained to fight and protect herself with blade and bow, and the elven style of agile physical fighting. With her twin swords and daggers, she quickly became well know for her whirlwind of silver blades, a deadly dance of singing elvish metal.
Silmarie found herself betrothed to Thranduil via the will of their parents in a very rare instance of an arranged marriage, for moderately political reasons as the two families were wantinting to join together to ensure their ways were preserved after the Fall of Doriath. While she was initially against this rare event, she grew to love him and after the terrible events of Thranduil’s father dying in the Battle of Dagorlad as well as her own father passing and her mother fading away from a broken heart, they were moved to the Greenwood and married sometime after (via sex, sex = marriage). They were crowned King and Queen and some time later they welcomed little Legolas into their lives.
Few months passed before they went to battle with orcs from Gundabad who had attacked them, Silmarie was not content with letting her husband go alone and went in his stead against his orders. Angered by the boldness and audacity of the monstrosities in danger of attacking and possibly killing her young son, Silmarie did not heed her husband’s concerned warnings and went along ahead of him to fight, determined to protect her son and her realm from any threat, especially one from Gundabad. Deep into the hours the battle lasted, her elves succeeded in driving back and slain most of the orcs and goblins before an arrow pierced her shoulder, sending her off her mount with the force of the shot.
Separated from her army, the orcs swarmed over her, beating and stabbing her. A leader of their forces lurched forward and with powerful motions, stabbed his large jagged blade into her chest, once, twice, and a final time. Her armor had not the durability to withstand such a massive creature's cruely designed blade and it peirced deep into her body. Her long braid and her chain mail armor were both taken as a trophy and displayed to all remaining elven forces, leaving her in next to nothing as she lay among her dead kin and filthy slain orcs bodies.
Hours after the battle had ended, her force's flags were located and she was approached by her husband’s army, slaughtering all that was left of the orcs, but it was too late for her and she knew it. Tears rolling from her eyes as she lay there trembling and bleeding greatly, she smiled up to her husband as he held her to him. His heart shattering at the sight of his Queen dying before him. After exchanging loving words and soft half-felt chiding, she rested her hand upon her chest in farewell, saying to him a promise that she would watch over them from the Halls of Mandos. She swore with ehr last breath that she would return, if given the choice.
She passed in the minutes just before the sun rose. Thranduil carried her body, covered in his cloak, the entire way back to Mirkwood, not eating or sleeping, nor waiting for those that fell behind. Her body was burned and the ashes spread over The Greenwood. The loss was great and all the realm mourned her passing for weeks. All orcs spotted anywhere near or in the Greenwood were ferociously slain. A statue was erected at the entrance of the Greenwood in her memory as the Elvenking and the Prince awaited the return of their Queen, Wife, and Mother.
After hundred's of years, Silmarie was offered reincarnation either into a new form or to be recreated into her original body aged to the time of her death. She made her choice and returned to Arda in the form of her original body. Her memories were not so quick to return all at once and this left her wandering the lands near where she was first born (now sank into the sea) which left her in Lindon and at the hospitality of Cirdan on the Grey Havens, a relative of hers through the line of Elmo and both Elwë and Olwë. He sent word to Thranduil through Elrond that The Elvenqueen lived again. Though her memory was not fully restored, she was gaining back who she was by leaps and bounds. She eventually remembered her husban and her son and immediatly desired to set off for the Greenwood. Cirdan advised she stop at Imladris for supplies and a fresh retinue of guards as it was a very long journey from the Grey Havens all the way to the Halls of Thranduil. SHe agreed and the journey began in ernest.
Along the way, there was much adventure to be had and fights against highwaymen and bandits, and even orcs around the feildsthat were near Imladris. Once there she reunited with Elrond, a mentor and friend of old, where she caught up on teh events that had transpired since her death and what was seemingly coming to a head with Sauron. A while later, she left Imladris with a group of guards, including Elladan and Elrohir, Elrond's twin son's to protect the Elvenqueen through the mountains.

RP Sample: Oh, how his touch sent her body and mind reeling with sensation. Being so close to the ellon that she had loved secretly for so long was just like her dreams come true. “I will always be here with you.” She whispered to him, her eyes rimmed in tears of happiness. Her look softened as he spoke. “Thranduil… Oh Thranduil….” Her slender fingers traced the outlines of his face, sliding down to his jawline before resting on his chest.
"I adore you with every breath I take. My heart and mind are filled with visions and memories of our time together… but separate. I would like nothing more than to spend all my days with you, by your side as your wife and as your dearest friend. Perhaps…." Her face was tinted pink at the thought of starting a family with him, "Perhaps even be the mother to our own elfling." Her heart sped up at the sensations that came with saying such feelings aloud.
"I would bind myself to you for all the days of Arda, till death and beyond. Forever. I would be honored, My heart could sing no finer song than when I am with you. I regret not saying these words sooner. I… I never had the courage to make them known. I hope your adar and mine are watching over us with smiling hearts." A hot tear of emotion rolled down her cheek.

HEADCANONS:
== The Blessing of Yavanna (Yavanna’s Protector) is a blessing from Yavanna herself to a single family of female elves, of which Silmarie is the last remaining member of. There can be only one Guardian of Yavanna at a time. For this being to die they will have to pass on the legacy to their child. With this blessing comes certain powers and abilities, such as: Communication (both speech, hearing, and sight) through nature’s vast network of roots (feeling things much like a spider’s web), reviving fallen trees, regeneration of self from harm and near death, healing the sickness from plants, and the natural knowledge of nature based protecting magic and the effects of plants for mixtures and potions. While she does not have full control over the living trees and Ents, she can convince them to help her or become friends with them so they protect her and she protect them. These powers grow and become stronger as the elleth ages. It is said that the Blessing will fade when the balance of nature is restored or when all nature/Yavanna is destroyed.
== Lady Silmarie was betrothed to Thranduil at a young age in a rare arranged marriage, but they grew to love eachother with all their hearts.
== Her favorite flowers are Orchids and she loves to garden.
== The statue at the start of the Elven road (that Gandalf found in the movies overgrown and drawn on in blood) on both ends through the Greenwood is of Silmarie and erected by Thranduil after his wife's passing.
== When Silmarie died, the Greenwood was free to fester and grow weak in Sauron's presence. The connection was not missed by anyone.
== Her best friend is a huge white wolf (not a warg, but a giant wolf, large enough to ride). He is nameless and has some form of self awareness separate from regular wolves. He has a small pack consisting of himself, his mate, and their 3-pup litter. All of which Silmarie protects.
== Silmarie used to use her influence over the Greenwood to roam it in the form of a stark white Doe, while her husband's influence took the form of a stark white Elk. When she passed, his influence over the forest was left alone.
== Silmarie is related to Galadriel and Celeborn and is a mix of the great lines of Elmo and Finwe. See her bio for links to the family tree images.
== She dislikes Dwarves for their ability to destroy the nature around them in exchange for greed. She also hates those of the dark forces with all her being as they were the cause of her father’s death and her mother fading.
== As much as she declares that she is free from greed’s hold, she is fascinated by white gems and mithril and most often will do all she can to get these and hoard them when found. She is secretive and ashamed of this fact.
== Silmarie will never be in bonds with any from the race of Men or Dwarves, preferring only Elven males (usually ONLY her husband). She is strictly heterosexual, but does not hate or judge those that do not share her views.
FIRST AGE
Nothing happened for Silmarie in this age since she wasn’t born till very early Second Age.
SECOND AGE
This verse starts off during the Second age where she cane be played as a little elf child or as a ‘teen’, both her parents are alive and well, and they all live quite happily there. Until of course, the bloody events unfold and they flee to help form Lindon at the start of the Second Age.
Silmarie lives with her parents still, but they are trying to wed her off to another family, to which she rebels against. Silmarie becomes quite the wild elleth with her exploring ways and her lack of desire to be proper.
Eventually she matures belong her grief and becomes more ‘Lady’-like. During this age, Silmarie’s family move from Doriath to The Greenwood along side Oropher, seeking more peaceful commune with the nature around them and their willingness to help Oropher rule. (If she isn’t married by this time, then she would still live with her parents, but if she is she would live with her husband.) When her father dies in the Battle of Dagorlad alongside Oropher, Silmarie’s mother fades from grief.
THIRD AGE
During the early half of the Third age, she resides and rules in Greenwood with her husband, and gives birth to their only son. During this age, she spends most of her time fighting the influence of darkness over ’Mirkwood’. She dies in a battle to protect the Greenwood and her family. Kept in a 'stasis-like’ pod of healing sap, Yavanna steps in and makes Silmarie a Protector of Flora, giving her a blessing to heal with plant life and to heal plant life. Silmarie awakes from the pod hundreds of years later with very little memory of who she once was. Eventually she finds her way back to Mirkwood from where she died, slowly remembering who she was, she reunites with her husband and now grown son (happens in-between the events of the Hobbit and LOTR).
FOURTH AGE
In this new age, Lady Silmarie will most likely still be residing in Greenwood the Great with her husband, before sailing to Valinor sometime in the later part of the age.
