Personality: Skadi is kind, but stern. While she does love to have a good time, she won't hesitate to split your skull open over an insult. She does not take kindly to being treated as a lesser, especially treated like a useless female. When she is loyal to those who earn her trust, she is loyal to the day she dies, or till they prove unworthy of her trust. Then they are never to be trusted again. Skadi had always been adventurous, wanting to go out and see the world, find out the truths of it on her own instead of believing blindly in possibly one sided stories. Never has she been one to go along with her people's ways. A number of examples play her as acting 'less like a dwarf' and more open to others. DUring a visit from some elves from Mirkwood when she was young, she gave one of them a flower (which was frowned upon by her fellow dwarves), she is less about greed and more about adventure and learning about others than keeping to the Halls of her kin. Skadi is not one to be kept down or in a cage, whether it be made of a home of stone and gilded mithril or of rules.
Aspirations: Skadi doesn't really have many aspirations besides trying to prove herself to her brothers and Uncle Thorin Oakenshield (who had denied her accompanying him on the way to Erebor). She is near desperate to prove that she, as a female dwarf, can be among the ranks of the best male dwarves, rather to be respected and honored, than simply added to another male dwarf's house.
Strengths: Sword and axe weilding, shield work, she is very adept at foraging and even is rather good at archery. most of her skills are related to fighting and surviving in the wilderness. Though she can also spot a gold coin from far away...
Weakness: Eagerness to prove herself, self-doubt about her skills and her goals, a bit of greed for mithril and rare gems.
Fears: Facing a great number of enemies alone, loosing her brothers and uncle, being wrong about how she wants to live, having her goals and dreams crushed.
