Ash wanted kids. They wanted a family just like the one they were a part of before their parents died. Their siblings didn't have kids yet and he didn't know if they planned to.

A bit ago they had met Shao. He was a nice demon who seemed down on his luck. Shao was always busy, but made time for Ash when he could. Ash didn't want to imbue by himself. Maybe he could ask Shao? Was that rude? Shao never mentioned kids. Maybe he didn't want them. Or didn't want to raise them. Ash wouldn't mind raising them alone. He just wanted kids. He had his siblings to help him if he need it and he had a home already. He just needed the partner to help.

He was a little sad his parents wouldn't see his kids if he had any. He missed them. Maybe he would name his kids after them in memory. The partner would have to be okay with that but he hoped they would be. Or maybe name them after something similar. He could ask Cinder and Dust for help. Or Shao, even if he said no to imbue. He was sure Shao would have some good ideas.

Ash went to find his phone, picking it up and sending a quick text. He really should ask it in person but Shao was always busy lately and he wasn't sure when he'd get the chance. Hopefully this didn't upset his friend.
