Random Question: Is our ball going off what it would be like if gaia underwent the changes? Because flying ships are currently a thing. I'm attempting to draw up a backdrop or two as scene setters for the ball. Also suggestions would be good for backdrops. I'm gonna make them the same size as the shop backgrounds.

Nah it's an alternate dimension with modern pirates (plus the addition of magic and merfolk, etc). Think Carribean, but with the addition of a few 'impossible' islands a la magic, such as an ice and snow covered island, etc.
