OK, my english teacher is convinced that the Snape who killed Dumbledore wasn't really Snape, is was another Death Eater using Polyjuice potion. As for where the real Snape was she didn't say. What do you think?

Oh i believe it was snape! But i think Dumbledore and Snape had some occumlency going on there while they were staring at each other! Some reading minds time! I say Dumbledore and Snape are both strong in their magic! Plus Snape really had no choice...Malfoy adn Snape not kill dumbledore...voldemort find out...malyfoy *avada kedavera* Snape X.X dies automatically at an instance also...or Dumbledore gone both live dn help kill voldemort! haha Snape still helps give Harry clues to help him even after he kills Dumbledore.....

I cannot honestly say my opinion. I don't really have one. sweatdrop I think the occlumency thing was a good hypothesis, so is the polyjuice potion idea. I think that when Dumbledore was begging, he wasn't begging for saving from Snape, nor death, but forgiveness. I think that Dumbledore did something so bad that he couldn't stand it and actually WANTED to die. (Hence his screaming "KILL ME" when he was in the cave with Harry after drinking the stuff in the bowl containing the fake horcrux. It's all very confusing. My brain hurts. I honestly hope that J.K Rowling has a good explanation for Snape, because my brain hurts. stressed

I dunno about the Polyjuice Potion thing. I mean, the Death Eater would've had to get out of the Vanishing Cabinet in the Room of Requirement, passing Ron, who was guarding it, go all the way down itno the dungeons where Snape's private rooms are, passing Hermione, who was guarding Snape's entrance. . . I dunno. Sorry to demean the theory. . . sweatdrop I mean, it was really good! I had never thought of that!
The Occlumency thing though, I'm definitely sure that Dumbedore and Snape made eye contact for seconds too long. . . 3nodding

I'm afraid that it couldn't of been Polyjuice. Severus took the "Unbreakable Vow", and if he were to break it, he would die. If it had been another Death Eater, Severus would of died immediatley, right? And (STOP READING HERE IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE ENTIRE SERIES!!!) at the very end, we see Severus die at the hands of Voldemort. ( crying ) SO...

One other thing that vexes me is, if Severus was Headmaster (even for such a short time), then why didn't his portrait appear in the Headmaster's office? Every Headmaster's portrait appears in there almost as soon as they die, so... What happened??? question
