It was a bright summer day. The Queen's council meadow was bright with growth and a soft, cooling breeze wafted the scent of her blooming rose garden through the area. The meadow was full of Unicorns, their familiars, and many other denizens of the WyldeWood. Near the front of the meadow on a rise stood the Queen and her full council, including the Elementals and Gloria Wylde. An emergency assemblage had been called. All who could make it were invited. The presence of the Glory leaders demanded. Even the humans, as well as other races of The Wood, were present.
The Queen stood before the assembled multitude and beckoned forth the Glory leaders. She looked out and met the eyes of each, sending them warmth and gratitude at their presence. She had never demanded anything of them in the years since they had traveled to this land and she wanted to reassure them of her intentions.
When the Queen spoke she made sure to pitch her voice to carry to the whole meadow. Many years of practice allowed her to keep her voice gentle yet still be heard and understood by even those farthest from her. "Many years have passed since we came to this world." She began. "We created it together to be a place of peace and harmony. To be a safe haven from the violence and discrimination of the past. Over the years we of the Unicorn court, as well as others, have all settled into our own little niches in this corner of the world that we named the WyldeWood. Only the bravest and most ambitious making a point to try explore beyond what we immediately know, mostly with no success. But all of that is about to change. A threat has finally made its way into our world. Foul creatures known to us only as Arrawk.
"If we do not explore and discern where they are entering our world this peace we have created may be short lived.
"More and more frequently the various defending factions of the Wood have been stumbling upon burrows created by these things. They seem to be growing in number. Not much has been learned about them beyond their predisposition toward violence and their disturbing preference in taste for our smaller familiar companions. Be forewarned. Keep your companions close." A shiver rippled through the crowd. "Avoid traveling alone. If you do encounter the Arrawk, you will know them easily by their appearance. They walk on two feet and have bird like feathers. These feathers, however, are as sharp as honed metal. There is usually the smell of death accompanying them. If at all possible avoid contact and inform the nearest member of my sentinels of the location. This is of the utmost importance so that we can track them and learn more of them before we are forced to destroy them."
"I feel that the best course of action that we can take against this threat at the moment is to discover the source of our enemies. If we can discover where they are coming from then we can put a stop to them. As we have scoured all of our own lands thoroughly the only thing we can assume is that they come from somewhere beyond. I would like to suggest that our Glories form advantageous alliances to bolster their forces for exploration.
"Lord Baldur." She turned to the Stallion. " I would like to suggest you and the IceFury Defenders pair with Django's Unknown Horizons. " She looked to the other stallion for confirmation before turning to the red mare in the group. " Mollie and the Wild Heart Sentinels, will you pair with Romana's Wyldewood Wanderers?" After a glance at the second mare to to confirm she spoke again to the stallions.
"Lord Baldur, Django. I would like you to focus your efforts on finding a way to push past the Ice Furries. I know we have been unsuccessful in the past but we must try." To the mares, "Romana, Mollie. It would be best if you were to begin expanding further into the Dusk Weald. Does not your mate hail from there Mollie? That could bring advantage."
Turning to the last present Glory leader, "Lady Atlanta. I know that your Glory is more focused on spreading love and beauty, however, desperate times call for desperate measures. Would you and your Glory be willing to defend our homeland while the forces of the other Glories are spread thin?"
She didn't wait for responses before turning to the rest of the assembled peoples. "Any who wish to aid in our efforts may approach the leaders of the Glory they wish to aid.
"I beseech you. Please help save our home!"
(This is the point at which responses and discussion will happen)

Once those who had wanted to be heard had a chance to speak the queen took presidency over the gathering once more. "I have set aside a designated area for each force where members of each team may rally to discuss and plan. Those of you who are interested in helping, please make your way to these areas. Good luck, all of you!" With that the Queen retired to rest and think on what the others had said.
I would like to see at least one response from each Glory leader to the Queen's requests and delegations. Any other Unis that you would like to involve may also participate. You may even have conversation among them if you wish.
The areas for further discussion concerning the tasks at hand are as follows:
Braving the Fury
Into the Dusk
