I'd say it's one of my favorite comics/shows related to the occult. Constantine is pretty brutal and always makes fun of the people pretending to be super heroes in the dc universe while he is dealing with all of the real darkness.

Is the TV series worth watching?

I think so. It's really well written, but got canned after one season because of the network. There's a huge following for it. They didn't give it a chance to grow.

I'm really staying away from all the new stuff on the television !
I get very upset with television now a days!
for some reason it cannot keep me entertained,
I loved constantine the movie though !

for some reason it cannot keep me entertained,
I loved constantine the movie though !

The show definitely hits closer to the comics, and is a bit screwy about some details (but I guess it has to be). Keanu is a good actor, not even a remotely good Constantine though. Constantine is supposed to be a blond scruffy British guy with a tan trench coat and a sarcastic/assholy attitude.

The CW is considering taking over the Constantine show, and if you look it up on Hulu Constantine is already under the CW show list. Not only that but Hulu has the uncensored version of the show. I laughed so hard when John dropped the F-bomb "yeah that's the Constantine I know!"
