Yennifer always liked to begin every first class by introducing them to the theatre. It was always best to visit often. It allows them to get comfortable in their environment as well as boost confidence. And given she always liked to prepare her students for the real world she often taught up to date skills for professional auditions and would often give mock trials for extra credit. Her stride as confident as ever, Yennifer walked toward the front of the stage and turned toward her class with a smile. "Welcome to Enchant U's theatre studies. You may call me Professor Lovette, as I will be the one taking you on your journey of self discovery within the arts." Continuing on with her introductory, Yennifer verbally stated her syllabus for the year. Her standards were fairly simple; be ready to participate, every class is mandatory because material won't be repeated, put in effort toward activities and self work, and don't miss any major assignments (i.e. midterms and finals). Of course the proper syllabus was emailed to all the students prior to the start of class, so if need be they could recall what was expected of them. "Now, given this class is more free form, there are no designated assignment titles on your schedule's besides the mid and final monologues, dances, and musical performances. This means make sure you come prepared to move. No restricting clothes and no jewlery. The floors are cleaned every day so we will either be barefoot or you will be wearing character shoes. The nearby stores have anything the list on your syllabus states. I'll allow you until the end of the week to purchase everything you need."
Moving to remove her jacket and toss it on one of the theatre seats just off stage, she released a small breath and smiled. "Now that all of that is out of the way I'd like for you all to remove your bags and shoes and place them over by the wall there and then come back into a circle. We're going to be doing some ice breaker exercises."
