Breana's mouth fell agape in near protests against the Captain's false accusations. We are NOT aliens words she so venomously wished to yell at him for his ignorance. The talking cat that had been a part of her awakening two weeks prior was a questionable topic but she, as well as her sister, were most definitely human.
Silenced by the boy beside her who was far quicker at voicing his concerns, Bre shut her trap though that look of 'i hate you' was clearly still written over her face as she glared at her captors. Join or die he said. Hell with that you ignorant son of a... her mind trailed on to a few choice words. Why she was so livid about his false claims as opposed to the very clear threat he made was beyond her; probably because it was a jab at both Athene and Alcor. Either way, she really wanted to kick him right now.
After several moments of hateful thoughts and wishing for terrible things to fall upon the two currently looking down at them, Breana finally calmed down enough to hear what they had to say in response to the green eyed boy beside her. In hind sight it was a very good thing he chose to speak up otherwise things would have likely taken a turn for the worse especially since their hands were still tied, both literally and figuratively.
I apologize for the delay, I'll do better at keeping up @_@

Power signatures - Order power signatures are starting to be felt along the edges of the park...
And see, this was exactly why she didn't want to start off with 'join or die'. The corrupt internally winced and thought a few choice words at the captain accompanying her, but outwardly, she took on Anxo's question with a sugar sweet smile and a slow understanding nod.
"I know how this must look - and really, I am sorry it had to be like this - " Discussions were something she could handle. Laurelite had, herself, not so long ago praised Amphitrite's way of weaving words; she only hoped her general-queen meant her praise, and that here and now on this mission it might prove to be something of value.
She chuckled softly, almost as thought sheepish, her head ducking a bit. "I wish we lived in the kind of world where we could just have a recruitment center... but the fact that we exist at all proves that we are not. You've seen what happens when these sorts of things seep out into the open. People get hurt unnecessarily, and no one wants that. And you don't realize, darling, but all of you, you were in danger - you were targets - we took you here not only to talk to you, but to protect you from them."
Though she had shifted closest to Anxo since he'd spoken the most, the corrupt glanced at each of them in equal terms, trying to engage them. The girl seemed most unwilling to listen, though - it didn't mean Amphitrite didn't try, but internally she'd already assumed that was one starseed she'd likely be pulling soon. Too bad. "Also, you're mistaken - about the train explosion, I mean - that was an incident triggered by the terrorists, not by us," she assured him smoothly. "We were there because we heard there might be terrorist activity - anyone on the train would tell you that the real danger started when those people started popping up in their flashy costumes; look how many lives they took that day."
She took a deep breath. "You don't have to decide right this moment, no. But the sooner the better. They are coming for you. They want to hurt you - they want to take this planet and make it their own, since their homes have been destroyed. They are parasites, invaders - and we'd like to help you. We'd like to give you a chance to fight for your planet's sake instead of being warped to their designs."
Order signatures prickled at the edges of her senses, not close, but not far enough for comfort. A stiffness seeped into her spine, but visibly she gave nothing away. "But it's a danger to us, now - if they found you and took you, you'd not only be hurting your home, and the best chance of protecting it."
Pyro was going to make the words happen when he felt that sickeningly PURE aura wash of Order. It made the hairs on his arms stand at end.
"We've got company coming." He looked at his partner in crime and then out towards the other stations with members. "We should get ready for the terrorist." He scowled.
(Sorry this is so short! Feel free to move to other thread bruhs)
Anna's comments were only barely listened to as the ears a top Dahlia's, otherwise human looking, head began to flick and turn curiously. It was subconcious really, as she wasn't searching for a noise or any sort, nor anything her normal senses would pick up. It had been the tiny feeling of order energy, an aura in the distance that had grabbed her attention. And as she focused on it more and more little pricks of energy were detectable, until the cat woman's ears laid back against her head in displeasure. Had it just been one or two senshi that had stumbled unto them that'd be one thing. But this wasn't one or two.
This was the sort of thing that destroyed carefully laid plans. Time to think quicky.
Her fingers extended, dark claws sliding out of her human looking fingers, and with a swift motion the ropes around Annabel fell loose, quickly followed by the ones that had been around Kayden. Empressite was closer to the male, so Dahlia could only hope she'd deal with him (whether by loosing his binds or whatever else she decided).
"Unfortunately we don't have much time left to talk."
"The terrorists are coming so it's not safe here anymore."
Her tail was swishing with obvious irritation and displeasure as she stood, her dual colored eyes turning to glance in the direction most of the aura's seemed to be coming from.
"I'll do my best to keep you safe though." Well.. as long as they didn't just run away the second they were untied.
"You're not hostages." Cinnabar said firmly, putting confidence into her voice. "You're not here as prisoners. You're here, because you have a chance to make a difference in this city. We want you to join us."
The tall woman pushed away from the horse now to pace towards the outer edge of the carousel, weaving her way between the frozen animals in their run-down finery.
"That's the whole point to this... These Terrorists are tearing our city apart and its time we pushed back against them. We have a way to give you guys the power to fight back against them, to protect yourself and the people you care about. Its their fault you're here... don't you want to be strong enough this doesn't happen to you again? You can be that, and we can help you."
Coming around the side of one of the horses, she rested a hand on its arching neck, her thick fingers curling over the whorls of mane.
"Sadly, you don't have a whole lot of time to make a decision about it. We're not going to be left alone for long... and then you won't have a choice any more, and you won't like where that road goes." She said, all trace of amusement gone from her voice and face. "You have to chose a side, because there is no neutral ground any more."

WATER RIDE - WALLACE SUITE - CIVILIAN "That might mean something if I hadn't been taken against my will and tied up." Seriously, were these people slow in the head or something? No matter how many of them tried to convince him that they were trying to help, their actions- which always seemed to involve kidnapping him- spoke far louder than their words.
It seemed like his words had at least a minor impact on the terrorist, which was something, Wallace supposed. "Again means again. As in, this has happened before. Seriously, you guys need to start implementing a tag and release program for your hostages. Whatever your goal is, I can't imagine it involves serially kidnapping the same people."
And what the hell was he doing, giving advice to a terrorist on effective abduction techniques?
"A-anyway," he went on, "you don't know who I am." Or so he hoped. It was, he decided, time to become Blue again. "That didn't stop you from kidnapping me. So why should my not knowing your name prevent me from making you face justice?" Not the best logic, he was aware, but he wasn't going to let anything get in the way of his taking these people down. Not this time.

SWINGS - (Haüyne) - (NEGA) MOVING TO NEW THREAD
Order Signatures started blooming, a strange thing that tottered between inevitability and annoyance at the speed with which it was managed. My trainers said the cats can block the feel of us.
"Company's a calling and a knockin' at our door. At least they didn't keep us waiting long. " Haüyne moved to the lieutenant's side, and pulled the crystal communicator from it's stash behind belt. A bit of energy engaged it, "Bavaria Crew calling up any of the big house - we got one knows lingo.
There was no real telling if any of the Generals or Captains were paying attention to the communicators, but at least their hands were washed clean of having to report anything important.

SWINGS - (Pyrophanite) - (NEGA) //casually moves here too
"Augh this is balls." Pyro hauled Lily up too and set her in the chair behind Olga, pressing the bar down. "Stay put ladies."
He let Haüyne communicate over and moved to try and take something to help him. Unlike his counterpart, he didn't have the cool magics.
If it bothered Proustite when Moonstone helped herself to a slice of pizza, he did little to express his displeasure. In truth- he was not displeased at all. Knew better than to cause a fuss over something that he had knocked somebody else unconscious for.
Besides. Moonstone had nice... eyes, and Destiny City was positively exploding with pizza boys. She was welcome to as many pieces as she liked. He would just go find himself another.
'Can I say, maybe for a few brownie points and a chance at a slice, that your costumes look like pretty a-grade stuff, man.'
Proustite cocked an eyebrow at Tristan. He tugged on a bit of crust, lifted a pizza slice into the air- watched, pupils dilating, as the cheese stretched like an elastic between the box and his hand.
'Could you guys recommend any place that sells that kinda quality stuff?'
He took a bite of the pizza. Considered Tristan's question as he chewed. Pressed a finger to his lips as if to say 'one moment, I'm busy'- but managed to chuckle that Tristan was a, "naughty little flatterer" around all of the dough in his mouth.
He wagged his finger at Tristan like a school master, finished swallowing, and then opened his mouth to speak when Caitlin woke up. He watched her roll into a sitting position, a welcoming smile on his face.
"....and the reason you've kidnapped us is.."
"The answer to both of your questions," Proustite said, "is actually the same. Or, at least, very close to being the same."
He waved at all of himself with his free hand, and then all of Moonstone.
"My colleague and I came into possession of these fine uniforms by way of a business that is interested in hiring both of you. We've taken a look at your resumes. And we're very intrigued."
His spider senses tingled. There were order signatures approaching. Proustite made a face, but was unwilling to part with his pizza. He pointed at Tristan and Caitlin, continued more quickly after a sharp glance in Moonstone's direction.
"There is a lot going on this place than those ******** up at City Hall want you to believe. Consider this your awakening. I am Morpheus. You are both Neo. You can choose the blue pill. Or the red pill."
He fished inside his jacket. Pulled out two pieces of crumpled paper, and a pen. He unfolded the papers, smoothed them over the dusty floor with a hand. They were both covered in purple ink, and read like contracts. Swearing a sort of fealty to Proustite. Included in the clause was a promise that, if signed, the person who belonged to the signature would fetch him Starbucks whenever the ******** he liked. Jack had written them up themselves. Probably, the Negaverse would not consider them officially binding. But Proustite could dream.
He clicked the pen, grinned at them.
"Or you can just... agree to sign on the dotted line, and we'll untie you. "

HAUNTED HOUSE - TRISTAN BAUTISTA - (CIVILIAN)
Tristan listened as best he could despite the obvious discomforts of being tied up on the floor. He inched, like a worm, and wriggled about until he found an easy enough position so he could look at the other civilian as well as the two who were standing watch over them. Their captors, as it were. So far all they'd done was tie them up and for reasons that were only just being explained to them, so maybe it wasn't as bad as it looked.
As the man with the pizza began said explanation Tristan tried to keep his eyes on him and not on the pizza. He mentioned "those ********" which he'd heard about at school before; terrorists or something going around the city wreaking havoc and whatnot. He'd never seen any evidence of it, but apparently this guy had. And he was comparing joining the "business" he was a part of to the beginning of one of his favorite movie franchises, which was met with a grin.
"Nice intro," he said with a light chuckle. Somehow the looks exchanged between the two oddly-dressed individuals changed subtly, he couldn't tell how though. "Whenever I get asked that question I always go for the red pill, hands down."
Just as he finished saying that the man had spread out papers for him, papers to sign for...something? A contract? He did say it was a business that he worked for so that made sense. He was being asked to sign, so he made a face up at him.
"Can't, hands literally tied," he said flatly as he quickly read what was written in the purple ink.
