Rosie was shaking in the corner crying as she sensed that there was a fight going on. One of the maids came in and took her out of the room and to a secure room she was supposed to be in whenever there was danger. Rosie was scared as she hugged her stuffed dragon wanting her daddy to be okay.

The dragon snarled at Alastair and began breathing fire towards Alastair. Alastair took cover outside of Rosie's chamber. The decorative fabrics within the wall caught fire and began to spread rapidly. Alastair remained calm and collected as he proceeded to enter the room only to find that it was set aflame.

Rosie was so scared that she had transformed into her dragon form and curled up in a tight ball in a corner. She could smell the smoke from the fire and it made her even more scared as all the maids and servants as well as the other knights were outside watching at a distance one of the maids was trying to get rosie to move but she refused. "Please princess! You must turn human so we can get out of here! It's not safe!" The maid said as Rosie did her best to transform and get into the maid's arms crying and hugging her stuffed dragon before they exited the castle and kept her wrapped in a somewhat wet blanket to keep the flames off of them as they ran outside. Rosie went to her auntie and started crying wanting the fighting to stop.

Alastair looked in shock as Rosie's room was set aflame. Although there was no sign of the dragon. Without drawing any attention to himself, a dark knight slipped passed Alastair and proceeded down the hallway. Meanwhile, the dragon queen ran inside of the secret room. "What's happening?!" He shouted, worryingly. As Rosie ran into her arms she caressed her tightly. "There there...everything going to be fine. Where's your father?" He said softly.

"Me not know.........." Rosie said crying thinking she was alone since her father could have been burned alive. She hugged her auntie crying as she stayed in the dragon queen's arms. She buried her face wanting her daddy. She could smell the smoke and smelled some blood from Alastair.

Alastair clenched his fist as he scanned the burning room for the dragon. His patients started to run out as the flames were hotter and bigger with every minute. "Show yourself!" He shouted. A chunk of a wooden beam fell from the ceiling. A loud cracking noise of the wood weakening from the flames caught as he looked and moved away from it as fast as he could. However, the glowingbpart of the burnt wood grazed his arm, causing him to shout in pain. Falling onto knees, he began to grow in pain. Meanwhile, the dark knight began to follow the scent of the princess as he came closer and closer the secret room. The dragon queen looked up at the maid as she stayed close to Rosie. "Please, explain to me what in God's name is going on." She demanded worryingly.

"All I know is that there was a strange man fighting with Sir Alastair! The next thing I knew was that Princess Rosie's room was lit a blaze!" The maid said in a scared way as Rosie hugged the dragon Alastair gave to her thinking he was gone just like her mommy. Plus with her birthday tomorrow, she thought he wouldn't be able to keep his promise until she heard him yell in pain. "Daddy's hurt auntie! I can hear him! He's still alive!" She said as she tried to feel her way over to the door to get to him.

"Rosie, no!" The queen shouted as she grabbed Rosie away from the door. "The door handled is hit, sweetie. You will burn yourself." He said as she held her protectively in her arms. Alastair's eyes widened as he could sense the same evil presence closing in on his daughter. "No!" He muttered as he picked himself up and ran full speed towards the door. The door bursted open and the queen ran towards Alastair to check on him. She gasped when she saw to giant wound along his arm and shoulder. "Alastair... You're wounded!" She exclaimed, worryingly. Alastair looked over to the queen. "I'll be fine..." He muttered.

(So sorry to keep you waiting. Internet's down, been busy for the past few days, and now both my mom and stepfather are getting on my about getting a damn job all of a sudden.)

Rosie was trying to feel her way over to Alastair and her aunt before she hugged Alastair's leg. "I scared daddy!" Rosie said with a sniffle before she started coughing due to the smoke that was starting to fill the hallways of the castle. It was spreading very fast. Rosie gripped Alastair's pant leg sensing the smoke and the evil presence were coming fast.

Alastair knelt down and pulllled Rosie into his arms, hugging her tightly. "I know, Rosie... I know..." He replied. Meanwhile, two water-type dragons came to extinguish the flames coming from Rosie's chamber, but were met with two additional enemy dragons. A long battles ensued.

Rosie cried as Alastair pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly. She gripped his shirt burying her face wanting the fighting to stop. though she couldn't see, she could hear the dragons fighting outside. She started shaking before some vines started growing from the cement floors. It was Rosie who had no idea that she was doing this. The thorns on the vines covered the door as she cried. They were her natural defense and were as strong as steel, maybe stronger. An ordinary sword would not be able to cut through it. Only the legendary Dragon slaying sword, Draco, could cut through them. that or if Rosie calmed down completely. It was strange since during practice she could barely make a flower grow. They discovered that she had a very special talent when she was a baby, when she actually managed to accidentally make vines grow on the cleric that was watching her that day. She didn't know how to control her powers back then but had gotten better since then with the help of her teacher of course.

Meanwhile, as the four dragon outside of the kingdom were battled one another, The queen could sense an evil presence getting closer as she walked over to the other end of the room and pulled onto the torch-like lever. The bookcase beside then rotate clockwise and revealed a long path leading to an exit-point outside of the castle."You must escort the princess to safety. It's only a matter of time before the princess is captured." She said. Alastair nodded as he proceeded to enter the secret path. He later paused and looked over to queen. "Are you not coming?" He asked curiously.
