Casual Skater!
Voscil felt herself deflate just a tiny bit when the other indicated that her efforts were somehow less, and what she was doing wasn't hard. Well that wasn't true at all! The older yellowblood let it go, as the other troll was just simply being fussy it seemed like. She didn't want to smart off to a highblood and get in trouble..even with her rebel involvement that would be a disaster in a place like this. Plus she didn't want to get wailed on by this tiny terror, that was for damn sure.
While she had failed multiple times, it wasn't like the other kid had done that badly. Vos had done worse herself, and seen others with similar results. At least the other had managed to make it around the rink with a bit of effort. Voscil too joined her when she went for her lap, and although Vos fell to the floor more often times than not, she kept a smile up seemed to be enjoying herself all in all. That was until the other ripped her skates off and screeched about it not being fair.
Voscil felt her smile leave her face..studying the smaller girl with her arms over her chest. Not long ago, a temper-tantrum similar to this one wouldn't have been unheard of. Maybe she was just growing up, or had learned to take things in stride better. "Well, we can go play some other arcade games or getchya a different pair girl!" She chirped pleasantly with a smile back on her face. "I smashed through a wall the first time I tried skates, with some practice I'm sure you'll be amazing on them just like you're own two feet even!" She complimented the other, appeasing the highblood child with her praising her and encouragement all wrapped up in one. "It's up to you, I think I saw some snacks over that way too." She offered after a moment, trying to coax the other out of pouting at least.
After-all, Vos wasn't laughing at her or pointing out her obvious flaws. It wasn't like the psionic had forgotten how troll society worked outside the Salamire Outpost. This was more of an attempt to quell the righteous child-like furry the blueblood seemed to have.
Gracie Loff delayed replies for days, but at least there you go lol. feel free to end it, or continue w.e is fine with me since we can always do other prps! <3

Arniva caught herself sniffling. Why did it have to be so HARD? It was a toy! Why.. why couldn't she just get what she wanted, like always? She crossed her arms across her chest, refusing to let the other see she was starting to cry. She was stronger than that.
A wall eh? ... " She eyed Voscil. "Well.. I STILL did better than you then.. I didn't hit a wall!" She felt a little better at that. Sniffling, she picked herself up from her seat and stood next to Vos. Her head tilted at Vos' words though. Yes, she was used to praise. She LIVED for praise. She ate it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. but a lowerblood praising her when she was obviously bad? This was new. Maybe this lowblood wasn't so bad at all. Would she try skating again? Maybe. As long as that yellowblood was around. Maybe it would be good to have someone to fight against?
"Snacks!" Her mood changed instantly. No more serious adult thoughts, snacks! She grabbed Vos' arm, dragging her to the snack booth. There were nacho's to be devoured.
She refused to pick up the skates she had flung earlier, leaving her lusus to clean up that mess. She had nacho's to buy with this troll.
Leon_a_darkangel Here you go! It can end off here, yup. We can start a PRP with them later if you would like. o3o I would not mind them shouting at eachother while skating now and then, if Arniva shows up tho.

Guilt bubbled in Nahori as her fall caused another chain reaction, sending Emi tumbling, too. The two of them had already had their fair share of those, and the orangeblood knew they'd be better off keeping their distance, but some selfish part of her didn't want to be alone out here, even though another part felt so awful and conflicted about causing the highblood trouble. She tried to remember what she'd been told, though. Emiola never looked upset, and she'd been unbelievably kind so far, and that made Nahori feel a teeny bit better.
The laughter definitely helped, too, even if she couldn't find it in herself to return it yet.
"A-Ah, I guess y-you're right..." she agreed, sounding slightly flustered. Still, she accepted the outstretched hand. "Skating just... t-takes practice like i-instruments." Wasn't that the case?
Maybe so. Though she wobbled, Nahori, with Emi's help, stood back up (sans more falling) and slowly started to skate again. It wasn't the most graceful, but it was something. "D-Do you know, um, w-why people c-come here...?" she muttered, if only to make small talk and hopefully distract herself from getting too uptight.
"M-My lusus kinda... f-forced me to come here... I-I dunno anything about it..."

"NNNNOPE! We should skate! I've been looking forward to it since I got here!" Elidae enthused, throwing her hands up dramatically and waving them around. "I mean, after all, we're here specifically to skate, riiight? You'll be fine, it'll be fun! You've got good balance!" The yellowblood coaxed, grabbing onto Hemera's jacket sleeve and pulling her gently, but firmly over to the skate rentals. Continuing to chat amiably with her tealblood friend, she received two pairs of skates, handed one to them, and encouraged them to follow her to put them on.
"So yeah! Did you have any trouble getting here? Oh-oh wait, oh my gosh, I, like, sat next to the most unusual troll today on the train. She was, like, so tall and mean looking. Well I guess not really mean looking, but she definitely didn't, uh... yeah! So anyways, they dropped something. It was like a piece of paper or i-dee-kay, I didn't really look. That would be rude, right? So I was like, gasp! What if its impooortant? I followed them off the train and said, "Hi! You dropped this!" They turned to me and gave me the most scary look! Eee, it was so scawy. And anyways, I, uh, I actually forget where I was even going with this!" Elidae finally chirped while finishing putting on her skates. She hadn't meant to cut off the scatterbrained story so soon, but she really didn't remember what happened next. Plus, she was eager to skate. Inspecting her newly adorned footwear with outstretched legs, she clacked the toes together rhythmically and clapped her hands in excitement.
"Yay! Hehe, these look so big on my fronds!" Giggling and trying to balance herself, Elidae wobbled up to stand. Scooting forward slightly, she kept her arms wide to her sides to avoid falling flat on her face or rump. Lift one leg, then the other. Lift, other. Lift, other. Slowly, she made it to the entrance of the rink. Letting go of the wall, Elidae turned to Hemera with a wide smile, giving her two big thumbs up. "Look!! C'mon, Mera! Let'sss-ggg-g-g-ooo-" Suddenly, as she attempted to move, the world beneath her seemed to move and her bilesack dropped. She was falling. Waving her arms around, her hands caught the edge of the skate rink. Scrambling, the yellowblood realized she didn't have enough strength in her arms to pull herself up. Ultimately, Elidae had one final slip before fumbling straight to the floor of the entrance.

"Well, I came here because-" But Elidae decided it was time to talk. Mera kept opening her mouth, trying to explain that her focus hadn't been to skate; but it would be rude to turn down the invitation, and there was so much else to do that one could spend a whole night at the rink without partaking in the sport, etc etc. However, she could get out nary a syllable during the yellowblood's retellings of her recent escapades.
Eventually, all she could do was shut down and respond with a short, "Fascinating."
However, despite how unwilling she was to humiliate herself in front of everyone, Elidae continued to be gung-ho. Mera watched as Eli put on her skates then start rolling away........and immediately fall.
"Elidae!"
Hemera rushed to assist her friend, checking for any injuries. "Are you all right? Did anything crack when you went down? Are you sure you still want to do this?"
One of the pimply workers called out that only trolls in skates could go that far, and she'd have to rent a pair if she wanted to go on the floor.
"Oh, for crying out loud, fine." Mera stomped back over, switched her boots for a pair of skates, and returned to her friend at a snail's pace. "Elidae, I'm here, so if you keep falling I can at least help you." She wobbled, starting to slip, herself. "O-or at least try."

Luxara clutched Anguis's hand in her own. She felt his arm muscle tighten as it pulled her up. As the greenblood rose up, her other arm stayed out as a balancer, then let a hand fall onto Anguis's chest. Meanwhile, her knees locked in an effort to stay on her feet after that. "Okay, oookay...I thiiiink I got it." Her legs wobbled. "Maybe." She looked up at him with a broad smile. "We look like total losers! I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm having a great time!"
She started pushing herself away from his chest. "Eaaasy goes it, okay. I'm gonna try to not fall on my butt." With her feet level, she was starting to make it. However, one foot got ahead of itself, slipping a little. On reflex, she grabbed Anguis shirt. If she fell, she was likely going to pull him down with her.
However. She stabilized. Barely. "An, I think I need to get to the wall, too. I think you're great support, but it'll be kinda awkward if we go down together, right?"
